It’s too far out from the main area although there’s a shuttle into town. All our clothes smelt damp after just 4 days of being there. The room felt very damp the bed especially. Pool is ok but I’m sure you’d struggle to get a sun bed in high season. The beach is nice across the street but the sunbeds are rentable from a company $$$

Overall, the resort has a great vibe and is conveniently locale across the street from Smathers beach. The property itself is, however, very rundown with layers of fresh paint and finish work applied hastily to lengthen the service life of the property.
The walls are extremely thin and thus, you’ll hear each of your neighbors conversations. We suspect that this is why each room is equipped with a functioning white noise machine. Not functioning, however, was the microwave in the room. Despite making the concierge aware of the issue and being promised a replacement microwave, it never made an appearance. The elevator on our wing was also out of order.
The on-site restaurant is so-so and a bit limited in selection. The drinks are mediocre - even the margaritas!
The staff are extremely friendly and helpful.

Receptionist was rude and brush us off as soon as she could even though was no line. For that price ???? stay away, not worth it at all, 2 star hotel, view is average, bathroom is old, nobody generally cares about you, except one nice girl at the gift shop no one expressed any interest, nobody cared or asked us if everything is okay or about quality of our stay. I never felt so off as I did in this place. Horrible.

Room was clean. Coffee maker was next to the tv but no outlet to plug in.
Bathroom only had one peg to hang towels. No towel rack in bathroom.
Housekeeping didn’t clean the room the first day.

The room was beyond our expectations, from the moment we were greeted at the front desk our stay was excellent. We ate at the restaurant on the property and had 2 fantastic meals. We will definitely stay there on our next visit to Key West.

Great place to stay. Rooms need a bit of maintenance but over all good. Shuttle service to downtown is awsome and on time. Beach across the street. Don’t have to worry about roosters in the morning. Also nice to have shuttle to airport.

We had a great time at this property. The staff was friendly. Complimentary Margaritas at check-in. Everything was clean. The hotel was very quiet at night. Rooms were comfortable. I’ve stayed at more expensive properties in the Keys and this place was better than most of them. Will stay at this property again.
