"the hotel is rather old, you will have to carry your luggage up a flight of stairs before even reaching the hotel lobby. the check in process is slow as the counter guy will be busy talking away with his colleague and taking his time while doing your check in (it was the same for every guests) the shower head is very heavy and falls off easily and the towels were dirty. one good thing is that hotel slippers were provided but no new ones when they clean the room. also do note that they do not provide a “do not disturb” sign and will clean your room everyday, they will bang on your door to check if you are still in the room. i was assigned on the first floor and they start cleaning very early in the morning which is very noisy and disruptive, the cleaners will just be talking away. the room has very thin walls and i can literally hear water gushing whenever the person in the room beside flushes. it is also noisy due to the vehicles since it is near the main road."

"Fantastic location — just a short walk from Firenze SMN train station and all the main attractions like the Duomo and Uffizi Gallery. The staff were super friendly and always smiling, giving great local recommendations. The atmosphere was warm and social, with fun evening events and a cozy common area to relax or meet other travelers. The room and bathroom were clean, and the breakfast was simple but nice. The room had a slight damp smell and the air circulation wasn’t great, so it could feel a bit humid at night."

"The room facilities were really subpar. The lighting was awful, and the decor felt very rough and unfinished. It definitely didn't live up to a 4-star standard. However, the public areas and service were pretty good. The breakfast was terrible. The pool had a nice view, but it was way too crowded, and it seemed like most of the people weren't even hotel guests, just freeloaders. As a paying guest, I didn't even get a chance to enjoy a drink by the pool."

"The apartment is conveniently located, about a 20-minute walk from Florence's Santa Maria Novella (S.M.N.) train station. We arrived at 12:20 PM and were pleasantly surprised to be able to check in early. The room was very spacious, clean, and tidy, with soft and comfortable bedding. Overall, our stay was very pleasant. The main entrance to the apartment building closes at 8:00 PM, but you can enter with a code or by swiping your room key, which is great."

"The location is perfect, right opposite to the train station, on top of the McDonald's. The attractions of Florence are within walkable distance from the hotel. There are lots of restaurants nearby. The front desk staff are friendly and helpful. The sound proof of the room is not ideal. Our room is on top of McDonald's and facing the train station, there were a lot of people gathering at the train station at night time. The noise from the people talking and laughing could easily be heard. We are on the second floor, so the noise of traffic is another issue at night time. When we checked out, I discovered the hotel provided ear plugs which I didn't discover when I moved in, that means the hotel is aware of the noise issue. The staff checked with us about our experience when checked out, we told them about the noise problem, they said if we raised the issue earlier, they could relocate us to another room which is not facing the main street. If noise is a concern to you but you prefer this easy location, be aware to talk to the staff and get a quiet room."

"The hotel is about a 15-20 minute walk from attractions like the Duomo, and roughly 25-30 minutes from the river. Of course, you can also take the bus – there's a bus stop right next to the hotel, which is quite convenient. The room itself was pretty clean. It's not a large hotel, but the crystal chandelier in the room was so beautiful and romantic. The guy at the front desk was really nice and spoke fluent English."

"The location is perfect 👍🏻 very close to all the beautiful places in the historic part of the city! Please make sure that you check in online prior arrival to avoid extra charges. It’s easy and takes around 2-3 minutes of your time. The front desk staff speaks English very well. The rooms are spacious with 2 fans for comfortable sleep at night and huge lockers to store your belongings securely (the key provided by check in and it’s included in the price). There are comfortable beds with clean bed sheets and a decent pillow. Bring your own towel though, or you need to pay for one at the front desk. The bathroom is modern but not clean enough to give 5 stars. Also, there is toilet paper but no soap. As for the kitchen, it’s partially equipped, cooking might be a bit challenging but has a big modern fridge. There is a spacious dine in area and you can enjoy your meal in the garden outside. Overall, it was a nice stay for me, thank you very much!"

"We spent over a month traveling through Europe this Chinese New Year, visiting Spain, Paris, Belgium, Hungary, and Italy. This apartment hotel was hands down the best accommodation of the entire trip – truly on par with a five-star hotel back home. The facilities were top-notch, and the service was exceptional. Plus, Florence has the best food in all of Italy! My only regret is that we only stayed for two days... Florence is the most 'chill' place in all of Italy, a thousand times better than Rome or Venice! I highly recommend booking this hotel! It's a 1000-euro hotel that easily outperforms European hotels costing several thousand and up!"

"Advantages: The location is very suitable for tourists traveling by train. It is only a few hundred meters away from the train station, and it is a certain distance from the main road, so it is very quiet. I guess it is a hotel converted from a residential area. Moreover, the street at the door has many bright street lights at night, and there are many restaurants along the road, so I feel safe when walking back to the hotel at night. Disadvantages: We stayed in room 202. There was a door next to the bed, which was sealed, but the sound insulation of the door was very poor. The conversation in the next room came through the door very clearly. We had to knock on the door to ask them to keep quiet at night. When I left the store, I told the front desk about this matter. She said that she could remind others by knocking on the door. It seems that they also know about the problem of this door. I don’t know if other rooms have this problem. It is recommended that the subsequent store can make it clear to the guests in the room with this door when they first check in, and ask both parties to keep quiet at night, which will reduce a lot of trouble."

"The hotel's decor is quite new and the front desk staff are friendly. However, the building itself is a bit old. The soundproofing in the street-facing rooms is poor; it's very noisy, and you can easily hear passing vehicles. There's no screen on the window, and there were several mosquitoes in the room. Furthermore, because my travel companion fell ill and needed surgery, I tried to cancel my reservation twice, five days before check-in, but the hotel refused both times. It felt a bit unaccommodating. In terms of location, while it's not too far from the train station, it's not convenient to walk there if you have luggage. Florence's public transport system is quite bad, often experiencing traffic jams and delays. Also, the hotel is much further from the tram stop than the bus stop, so the location is just mediocre. Regarding cleanliness, the room wasn't cleaned during my two-night stay, which was disappointing. I hope this helps others."
