Pimalai Resort & Spa

Koh Lanta Yai|1.7km from Viewpoint
We have been coming to the Pimalai for 20 years and it never fails to deliver. We were lucky enough to spend 15 days at the resort this time, and it just seems to get better and better. Its hard to put your finger in what makes The Pimalai so unique. It has a genuine rustic Thai charm, combined with the efficiency of a well run Western hotel. The balance is perfect and never disappoints. It could be the stunning beach, the tranquil setting, the crystal clear waters, the fantastic food or the delicious cocktails at happy hour that make it so amazing, but I think it’s actually the incredible staff that really make you feel like you are one of the family, that really sets this place apart. The staff can not do enough for you. Even the gardeners (who work tirelessly to keep the grounds looking beautiful) stop to say hello when you walk past. There has been a change of guard since last year. The lovely French Manager Franck has handed over to the equally charming new French manager Brice. The transition has been seamless and the hotel is in safe hands. We managed to do a few things this time that we’ve never done before. I did a wonderful Thai cooking class with the head chef. What an experience. One I’d recommend to anyone. We also did a sunset snorkelling trip to Koh Ha. This was spectacular. The fish we saw were incredible, an the guys on the boat were so helpful. Then followed by a sunset cruise back to the hotel. Just WOW!! As always the food in the restaurants was delicious. I get the feeling that it’s only going to get better with the new food and beverage manager putting his mark on the menus. As always, we didn’t want to leave, and we can’t wait to get back.

Bakantiang Resort

This is the second time I went to Koh Lanta. It was discovered when I first went. This hotel is on the north side of the hotel. It was built on a mountain. The hotel we arrived at night, the driver was not very easy to find, the hotel name was inconspicuous, the room It is a small house with a balcony, the cat is very warm, the breakfast needs to order, the breakfast restaurant can see the sea, the beach is 500 meters away from the beach and the 711, the beach people in the north are very few, the children play very well. It is also very convenient to go out to sea. I went straight to the beach for 10 minutes, which is a hotel with a small amount of shower water and a very high cost performance.
Anda Lanta Resort

The hotel service is very good, they are very enthusiastic, and they greet us when they see people. My mother is allergic, so I helped my mother replace all the scented bedding. The room is very clean and tidy, and all the rooms can see the sea. I found that the sea view of the smallest villa room will be partially blocked, but the mountain better. My room is on the top, and my mother is in the first row facing the beach, with a good view. The hotel has a swimming pool and a restaurant. The environment is very quiet and beautiful. In a small bay, the waves are not big enough to go into the water. The food in the restaurant is very good and the price is not expensive. It is about the same price as I went to the Diamond Cliff Restaurant. We ate three meals in the hotel. The hotel has a car to send to all parts of the island, and each place has a price list. We chartered a car for half a day and four hours, 2,500 baht. Go to the beach 10 kilometers away, 400 baht one way, I think the price is also very good. You can call the hotel to pick it up at Saladan Pier. This is free, but it seems that it is not delivered. Horse * chicken needs to be reserved, very cheap, Thai massage technique is very good, only 600 baht per person for 50 minutes. And it feels very good to face the sea. The elder sister who massages is very careful and will observe your various expressions to pay attention to the severity. My dad gave an early tip of 100 baht, and actually gave him an extra 20 minutes.
Vacation Village Phra Nang Lanta

I really like the style of the hotel and it blends perfectly with the surrounding environment, similar to some domestic homestays. The facilities are a little bit old, but they have everything they should. The rooms are large and the balcony with sea view is very awkward. There are not many varieties of breakfast, but it is completely delicious. The semi-open restaurant and garden perfectly blend with the sea view, bringing a good dining mood, which is enough to offset the shortcomings of fewer varieties. The flame dance at the bar on the side is also a highlight, making the night more exciting. The only thing that is not tolerable is the problem of bath water. The water flow is often very small. When I came back from the beach and stood under the shower head. When the dripping water could not clean the sand on my body, my heart collapsed. I stood and waited for a few minutes. It took ten minutes for the water flow to return to normal levels to finish the bath. The sea and beaches of Kantian Bay are not as good as expected. I think the comments in the comments are a bit too much. After all, Thailand has many more beautiful beaches than here. In general, it is a wonderful experience for people like me who love to lie on the balcony or garden and enjoy leisure time.
The Narima Lanta Island

This is a resort that has a soul! We stayed at the Narima during the pandemics. It was almost empty, but this was a great experience. We were looking for a calm place with a ”hidden” beach. The service and the food was excellent, the staff very friendly and the owners came by our table for a chat. We had a rare ”hidden paradice” feeling during our week-long stay. Narima is close to the road, but you do not notice it. The vegetation is varied which gives good shade throughout the day. The pool stays cool thanks to the spring water supply. The nicely terrased lay-out of the resort gives many different views and possibilities to hang out. . The beach is natural with sand and rocks and enjoyable even during ebb. For the kids there are lots of nice rocks, shells and crabs to collect! When you feel lazy, you may just spend time in the hammock on the balcony of your bungalow. Thanks for a great stay! OYO 1085 Ma Lanta House

A family owned resort. Location is on the hills with the sea-view, very peaceful and comfortable. The room is super clean and well maintained. The service is excellent, the owner and staffs are very kind. There is a restaurant that also owned by the same family located opposite side of the road is very tasty. Take less than 10 min to walk to the Bamboo beach where very beautiful, the sand is soft and pretty quiet, not many people with the sunset view. I would love to come back here again.
