ITC Royal Bengal, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Kolkata

The hotel was as luxurious as advertised. The extensive breakfast options, spacious gym, and professional spa service were especially outstanding. The only disappointment was the excessively long check-in process. (They were trying to do everything digitally, including passport scanning, but the system wasn't working, so we had to wait about 30 minutes). Also, the soundproofing between rooms above/below and next door isn't as effective as you'd expect from a five-star hotel. One night, around 3 AM, I was woken up by the sound of a family arguing loudly from the room above. It was really disruptive. It's disappointing that customer etiquette isn't maintained in such a luxurious hotel.

Very grand hotel with spacious rooms. Range of restaurants available. Do try restaurants at their sister hotel - the Sonar as well.

I recently stayed at ITC Sonar Bangla, Kolkata with my father, and it was a truly wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality stood out — warm, respectful, and genuinely caring.

Good location Wonderful service staff Decent breakfast Room was spacious, clean, smelled good, good amenities. Areas of improvement - - they should change the wobbly metal soap case and metal dustbin in washroom. Very noisy and disturbing. - Should have USB C type charging points

Restaurant serving breakfast and dinner , entertaining all local non resident guests, overcrowded and both days u had to await 30 -40 minutes to get a seat . It’s a complete chaos. Paying $400.00 a night no one will stand 40 minutes to get a seat . This hotel are preferring restaurant business from Non resident guests guest rather than resident business.

great hotel, amazing room, terrific breakfast, and most importantly wonderful staff! i wanted to take some photos in my saree and miss sneha kindly offered to help me pin up the saree and took photos for me. 5/5!
