Oku Kos

We were in desperate need of a break and our stay there was just right for us as a couple. We felt very comfortable and really enjoyed the long weekend. There was no need to leave the hotel as we had everything we needed on site. If you miss something, you can contact Elena and the staff and they will take care of it immediately. There are also various events and activities, e.g. yoga, open-air cinema, etc., which you can sign up for if you want. We particularly enjoyed the lovely spa treatment and would like to thank the spa manager Frosini, it was an excellent service and we would highly recommend her to anyone with tension or stress. Once you've been to her, you'll want to book your next appointment straight away and you won't be disappointed. We are really looking forward to our next visit at OKU Kos! PS: Sunset pictures are a must with this view and much more beautiful in real life.

This was one of the best vacation experiences ever. Super friendly and competent staff. Great food in the evening and perfect breakfast. Wonderful beach and pool. Well equipped fitness center. Fantastic views from the restaurant with incredible sunsets.

I really loved the relaxed atmosphere of this hotel. This is due to its wonderful open aspect and all natural, rustic architectural style. Even though the hotel was full it was so impressively spacious that it did not feel so. The staff were great and the food was delicious. But the private beach was one of the best things about this place. Just a short walk away behind a picturesque hill of dunes is soft white sand, a bar and extremely comfortable sun loungers. You regularly see horse riders go by while at dinner and on the beach.

OKU Kos deserves 10 stars not 5! We could not find a fault! The hotel is gorgeously designed, spacious, quiet and beautiful. The beach is clean and private on a warm sea with pretty views (and free paddle boards and a lovely beach bar/cafe!). The breakfasts were so plentiful and healthy that they saw us through until dinner! Maria (hospitality/concierge), Daniel (reception) and Frosini (spa) were kind, generous, professional and experts at their jobs. We stayed in a two-bedroom villa with private pool and direct beach access - it was heaven. The villa was so clean and the Wi-Fi, a/c, towels, bed linen and shower pressure were top notch. Even though the hotel was full, it did not feel that way. There were always beds at both pool and beach, and the adult-only atmosphere was calm and respectful, but not at all dull. The open air bar at night was such fun - we played cards and boardgames and drank cocktails with our (young adult) children until late in the night! Maria organises evening activities and excursions (open air cinema, beach party, star gazing, wine tasting at a local vineyard) which were great fun - but we also hired a car for the week which meant we could explore the island and have meals out. The hotel is very remote - which is a good thing! - but Kos Town and other island activities are never more than a 20 minute drive away. Perfect. We recommend unreservedly this hotel to both couples and families with older children. The pictures on the hotel website are faithful to the beauty and peace of this establishment. From our delicious welcome drink to a stress free departure we were utterly happy and relaxed at OKU Kos!

Beautiful hotel in a wonderland location . If you require a relaxing break this is the place to come. My wife and I were returning customers and I am so glad that we did. The hotel staff are fantastic, they do everything in their power to give each and every one of their clients the best possible experience . Can’t wait to return to watch the most perfect sunsets with a cocktail.

Where do I begin? A good place to start is that after two days at OKU, we extended our holiday by another five days. My husband and I needed to get away and properly disconnect from the world, and OKU was the perfect place to do this. Firstly, I want to personally thank two women who I believe are an absolute asset to the OKU brand, always reassuring, warm, and going above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Elena in customer service. Whether it was helping arrange boat trips or setting up a romantic beach dinner for my husband's birthday, her attention to detail (and patience) was unparalleled. I have never received such attentive customer service, from finding a charger for me when my Kindle died in the middle of a wonderful book to offering countless other thoughtful gestures. Faye, the therapist in the wellness centre, really looked after us. She has such a beautiful soul. We even visited her family's restaurant, which was so beautiful that it felt like you were at the edge of the earth. Both women made our stay truly unforgettable. The hotel itself is exactly what you need for a bit of R&R - yoga mats provided in your room, amazing spa and gym facilities, a perfect pool with lounges, and plenty of space to kick back and play backgammon (with a glass of something amazing made by the incredible bar staff - ask for tequila or mezcal-based cocktails - you won't be disappointed). The food was fabulous - 10/10 breakfasts! The perfect sandy beach, where you can lounge all day (ring the bell for f&b), and rooms you won't want to leave - especially if you have your own pool. In short, it was perfect. Kos is an island which you might write off as being too touristy, but I recommend you rethink that position - OKU is truly secluded bliss. And if you fancy getting involved, there are lots of friendly taxi drivers willing to transport you to all corners of this rather fabulous island.

A friend’s recommendation led us to this amazing resort, and it exceeded all our expectations. What a treat, this hotel is outstanding. The building and landscaping are stunning and suit the environment perfectly. Room, beach, pool, restaurant, and service all on point. We had an absolutely lovely and peaceful week here. Our room was very modern and stylish with everything you need. A shared pool was just fantastic. The kindness and warmth of each and every staff member were truly outstanding, a rarity in my experience. Huge shoutout to Maria, the soul of the hotel, who made our stay even more unforgettable. We will definitely be coming back time and time again!

We have just returned home from Oku Kos. We had the most amazing time for our honeymoon/babymoon. From the minute we got to the hotel the staff made us feel very welcome and this continued throughout our stay. Everyone from the reception staff, restaurant/bar staff and cleaners could not do enough to make our stay perfect. The hotel was so relaxing, it was pristine and the food was out of this world. When we booked the holiday I was a bit worried there wasn’t much around the hotel (within walking distance) but don’t let this put you off, it added to the relaxing vibe. Taxis were easily organised by the hotel and we had two nights out which were amazing. I’d definitely recommend visiting Zia to watch the sunset (it was only 15/20 mins away). We had a great balance between relaxing by the main pool, swimming in the sea (making use of the paddle boards) and relaxing in our room and using our swim-up pool. I would recommend this hotel to anymore. We can’t wait to return.

Wow. This place delivers. Every aspect of the hotel is outstanding. The setting is wonderful; you get the sense of solitude and remoteness, but you’re close enough to amazing restaurants and the airport.
