Hot Springs Hotels in Kumamoto

A very nice stay in the city of Kumamon! Staffs are friendly, the room is big, amenities are well prepared. Had a three-night stay in the same hotel and enjoyed the convenience of it as it’s right next to the JR Kumamoto station with bus stops nearby and connected to the AMU plaza.

Great location, close to main bus terminal snd shopping district.  Friendly staffs and was anle to offer luggage storage pre/post check in/out.  Onsite hot springs was so nice and relaxing, with complimentary yogurt drinks and ice cream after the bath.  Room was clean and quite spacious.  Definitely will stay again

I stayed at this hotel twice. The second time (this booking) we had a room on the older (?) wing and it was almost twice the size of the first one. So for this review I will only share feedback on this “older” room. This room was big and thus good for us as we had 2 large luggage and more space in the room allowed us to open and pack our luggages with ease. The bathroom was large with the large traditional bathtub. Toilet had bidet and etc but lacked heating which made it very cold in the winter. Basin tap was still the old turn types which was not eco friendly as it’s more difficult to shut it off. Location was just opposite the train station which was excellent. But the nearest convenience store is also only at the train station which is about a 5-7mins walk away. Breakfast was curated to suit the Japanese palette more and ends at 9a.m which is really way too early!! We left something behind in the hotel but they managed to send the item back to us at our new hotel (still in Japan) which was highly appreciated. Despite a few minor shortcomings listed above, the pros still outweigh the cons and I’ll definitely be happy to stay here again.

Excellent location in the city centre, a few minutes from shopping, convenience stores, and the Sakuramachi Main bus terminal. Though it is no frills 3-star limited service hotel, location is the best and the price is reasonable. No cleaning in my room plan but acceptable. Will stay again.

My stay at Super Hotel Lohas Kumamoto Natural Hot Springs was a delightful experience. While the room was on the smaller side, it was thoughtfully equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The highlight of my mornings was undoubtedly the breakfast, which offered a delicious spread of Japanese cuisine, perfectly capturing the essence of local flavors. Though I didn't have the opportunity to visit the natural hot springs this time, I look forward to experiencing them during my next stay. If you're seeking cozy comfort and authentic cuisine in Kumamoto, Super Hotel Lohas is a great choice.

First time in Kumamoto!🐻 I came because I wanted to meet Kumamongggggg The accommodation is very good, convenient, close to both the tram and the JR train, shopping areas, convenience stores, etc. You can take the tram to Kumamoto Castle. The breakfast is very delicious. The staff is very welcoming and takes good care of you. If I have a chance to visit Fukuoka again, I will come back to stay here. 🤍

It is easy to access the city and Kumamoto Castle, and there is a convenience store nearby, so it is convenient. Best of all, there is a large public bath, so you can use the sauna, and you can eat ochazuke for free in the hotel lobby.

I also really liked the hot springs ♨️. Both the bed and pillows were very comfortable. Both dinner and breakfast had a wide variety of dishes and were delicious! On New Year's Day, they even served zenzai and kinako mochi. After checking out, we got a free ticket to the nearby bathhouse (Agannasse), where we enjoyed the open-air bath and rock sauna until after 3pm. I went with my daughter, and she also said it was a nice change of pace and she really enjoyed it. 😊

It can be said that it is very satisfying! In the small peak season before the Spring Festival, it is great to be able to book a hot spring hotel with one night and two meals at such a low price! Three people with friends, take the bus from Sakurai Terminal for about an hour, to the station, and walk about 1.5km (in fact, there is a bus that can go directly to the hotel entrance, we missed it, so everyone must see the route of GoogleMap at different times!). But fortunately, the distance is good, and the scenery is super beautiful after the rain! So I pushed the suitcase and took a photo without knowing it. ～ 1. There is a sister at the front desk who can communicate in English, and the basic communication is completely fine! The accommodation is on the second floor. Although there is no elevator, the clerk super nice helped us to send it to the room ～ 2. When checking in, you will choose dinner and breakfast time. According to the time, you can arrange the hot spring ♨️ time reasonably! 3. Dinner is relatively simple, you can choose your favorite from the package provided; breakfast is also quite satisfactory. Compared with the hot spring hotel of 2000 per person per night, the overall price is full, and the door is an oversized family, we also like convenience store food! 4. We chose the hot spring after dinner ♨️ You can take it if you have not been taken away in the hot spring key box at the front desk. It is limited to one hour (but we will not be able to do it in 20 minutes, hahahahaha). Change to a bathrobe and go to ♨️, the three of us make a soup, the space is completely OK. There are even two soups indoor and outdoor ～ 5. In the surprise link, my friend saw the favorite Gundam in the store, and he couldn't move his footsteps for a long time. After being seen by the beautiful and kind clerk sister, she asked her to choose the favorite as a gift to take away 🥹. I was so touched. (Reminds me of watching bags in the window of Dubai counter, the news of bags being sent by local tyrants...) All in all, I have soaked a few Japanese soups, but the previous ones are relatively high-end and expensive. I will not have psychological deviations for this house at all, and I am even very warm. I would like to call it the king of cost-effectiveness. ～ is the level I am willing to go again! 👍
