The staff are very helpful—they assisted me with the WiFi and even surprised me with some fruits and freshly baked rose pastry. They also allowed a late check-out at 2 p.m., with an optional extension at RMB 40 per hour, which was extremely useful as I had a night flight. The location is excellent. It’s a three-minute walk to Kunming Old Street (昆明老街) and about 10-15 minutes to Huanggong East Street (黄公东街) and the South Gate of Green Lake (翠湖). The property shares a lift lobby with another hotel (as shown in the picture), but you simply take the leftmost lift to Level 4 for check-in. Just a small note: you may hear some running water sounds, likely because the rooms are close together, and occasional trolley noises from the carpark below due to loading and unloading activities.
