Hotels Near Runde Jade Museum in Kunming

This hotel is located in a very cosy and quiet environment in Kunming city centre . The surrounding is very much having ancient feeling and most importantly . The hotel staff are very friendly and seduce was tit top. It is a good location for meeting old friend and chatting with friends visiting . If I return one day , this would be my first choice of stay .

Really lovely stay with great value! Pros: - Really convenient location that is near Kunming station (10mins taxi) and alot of food options nearby! - Near Nanqiang street which is really nice to walk around, with street food and many cute shops - Very good service. The staff even helped me to carry my luggages to our DiDi taxi upon check out! - Clean and spacious room, lots of space to open luggage! 2 sinks for toilet which is awesome. - Breakfast portion is HUGE and quite nice. But maybe cause I am used to lighter breakfast. - There is afternoon snack & night time dessert too - Relatively quiet at night as its not too near the roads Cons: - Nothing bad really.

Room was clean and tidy. Not too big, but still comfortable to stay in. There are 2 sides to the room, 1 bed nearer to the first part of the room near the lobby door (Aircon ventilation does not blow towards this direction) and 2 beds nearer to the bathroom side of the room. The room's windows were later discovered to be strangely left ajar when we started detecting stench of cigarette smoke coming in from these windows. Potential guests,do take note to check for any ajar windows when you check into the room and close them promptly if you cannot withstand cig smoke like us. The stench stayed around at the side of the room with no aircon vent. Hotel staff, pls also do remember to close the windows after servicing / cleaning the rooms.

Room - spacious, shower pressure and temperature is good. Thou temperature might take 2-3 secs to warm up (the weather is cold when i’m staying here), it won’t drop once desired temperature is fixed. I had pass by other rooms on the way to the elevator, and had peeped into other rooms when the cleaner were cleaning them. Noticed that all the rooms i saw, are spacious too. Breakfast is good too, thou most likely most hotels will be serving around the same stuff Location- Best!!! Kunming old street, nanping pedestrian street is literally across the road. Just be careful not to get lost inside there, cause it can be confusing once you are in the area. Do take note when taking taxi, didi, they can’t stop directly in front of the hotel cause it is the main road, and just after a traffic light. So u have to walk around 30sec to the next intersection. It’s basically once you step out of the main entrance of the hotel, turn right and walk to the next road. If you are joining a tour and they picking you up, most likely it’s that intersection too. Will definitely stay here again if i’m visiting Kunming again.

Very good hotel with free upgrade from the front staff. The room service is very good with bathtube & fruits served in room. the morning buffet also very veritey of choices.

The hotel is well located and allowed us to make our way within 10 mins to the Kunming train station. However we find the bed too firm for us. Didn't have breakfast at the restaurant but staff accommodated our request to pack some food for our trip early morning out of Kunming. Napping street and old Kunming old street are worth a visit. We had walked from Wen Lin street through the Jade lake to the old street. I highly recommend this walk, lovely!

The staff are very accommodating. Our flight at 1:00am but check in was at 14:00 and we were very late. The staff were really friendly and efficient with the checking in process. The 2 receptionist spoke English. The room is spacious with great amenities and Dyson hair dryer. Water and rose moon cakes were provided on upon our welcome. The AC is great, the shower water pressure is amazing. The bed is comfy and the pillows are to great. The breakfast is good and the best part is that it’s open from 7:30am -12midday. I couldn’t believe it myself! The food is good with a range of rice porridge, fresh fruit, noodles, boiled eggs, fried eggs, bacon, youtiao (dough stick bread), vegetables, cereal and a range of desserts. They have a selection of coffee, tea and juices. There’s also a self service laundry area and open roof top area with a pool.

The hotel has a superior geographical location. Opposite to the MixC Kunming, it satisfies all needs of eating, drinking and shopping. The transportation is convenient. It is 50 meters away from the subway station of Line 6 and 30 minutes to Changshui Airport. Because I had a flight the next morning, I specially chose this hotel. The breakfast has a full range of varieties and is suitable for people of all tastes. One shortcoming is that the washing area is too cramped. I don't know if it is because of the basic room type, but the disadvantages do not outweigh the advantages. After all, it occupies a prime location and is worth recommending.

Great place to stay! Clean, great location and great customer service. Especially staff name Cindy, she very polite and friendly. She also gives us small gift for each person when we check out. Highly recommended!!! Had a great experience overall.

We stayed at the Huagu hotel for only one night as we had an early flight the next morning. The hotel is perfect for that purpose (i.e., early flight or late arrival). Their 24/7 shuttle buses to and from the airport terminal are very convenient. The hotel is far from the city center though so if you are staying in Kunming for extended period such as sightseeing, the location is far from the major attractions. The hotel is clean and rooms are spacious. We liked the AI service. It's cool! Overall, the hotel is very good value for money. We would recommend it to travellers passing through the city of Kunming.
