Pet Friendly Hotels in Kunming

I was lucky enough to choose this guesthouse for two nights on this trip. The courtyard is beautiful, and it was so relaxing to sit out there and have a beer after a day of sightseeing. The owner's coffee is also delicious. The room facilities are pretty good for a guesthouse, and it was kept very clean. The guesthouse is located right by Dianchi Lake, so it's convenient for a stroll. Our Luoyuhe room was a bit small, and storage space felt a little cramped; I should have booked an upstairs room. Everything else was great, and I'll definitely recommend it to friends and family visiting Kunming.

The room was small but had everything I needed, though there wasn't much space for luggage which was a bit inconvenient. The service was attentive, and the environment was clean with excellent hygiene. However, the facilities could use an upgrade. It's very close to Kunming Railway Station, making transportation super convenient. **Facilities:** The facilities were comprehensive but not perfect. **Hygiene:** The hygiene was good, but my room was quite small, which made the environment feel a bit cramped. **Environment:** The environment was average; it felt pretty much like a standard hotel. Also, there were no shower slippers, which was a bit inconvenient. **Service:** The service was good, but the TV only offered regular channels. If you wanted to watch movies or TV shows, you had to purchase them separately. If you enjoy watching series, I wouldn't recommend this place; I'd suggest the Yinying Hotel instead.

We come to Luosiwan to buy goods. We've stayed at the hotel for several years since it opened. Parking is convenient, there's a food street right next door, and Luosiwan is just across the street. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the staff are very friendly. Highly recommended.

Location: The location is absolutely fantastic, right in the city center. Parking, although the entrance is a bit narrow, we stayed for several days and there was always space for about five or six cars inside, so we usually found a spot when we returned each day, which was very convenient for self-driving. It's also close to the subway station, and there's a row of shared bikes right outside, making getting around super easy. Facilities: Everything you need is here. It's pet-friendly, and they'll arrange rooms for guests with pets towards the end of the corridor so as not to disturb others. The soundproofing in the rooms is excellent, making them very quiet. Plus, the room entrance/exit is super convenient for getting to the parking lot via the pedestrian escalator, and it ensures we don't disturb others, which perfectly met our needs. I'm grateful the hotel is so accommodating to our furry family members. Service: The service couldn't have been better! The housekeeping staff were active and friendly. I even forgot some clothes, and the hotel contacted me the same day and mailed them back! Amazing!

A wonderful hideaway for a hot spring getaway. The private courtyard comes with its own hot tub, or you can switch things up and use the public pools. In the evenings, you can catch a stunning sunset, and the Ancient Dian Kingdom Museum is right across the way. The villa's amenities are top-notch, and it's very clean, even including a private sauna. There weren't any bugs this season, which made it a super comfortable and relaxing spot for a few friends to unwind. The breakfast and dinner at the mountaintop restaurant are both excellent, and they do Western dishes really well too!

This was by far the BEST accommodation we stayed in China!! We booked two rooms because I'm travelling with my sister and her boyfriend. Both rooms were extremely clean, the best comfortable beds ever, hot shower, air con, all the toiletries were good quality and the staff were amazing!!!! They helped us out with everything!! Even though they don't speak English or any other language (like elsewhere in China), they were extremely helpful and we managed to communicate with the translator. We stayed two nights but we would have loved to stay longer which was not possible because visa's expiring soon. When we got there, they made us delicious noodles with beef and vegetables and my brother in law is still dreaming to get the same tasty noodles somewhere else in China 😊 We don't know the names of the hosts, maybe they are wife and husband (we are not sure) but surely this was the top accommodation and treatment we have received in China so we would like to thank you two again for everything you have done for us. This is my go-to hotel when I travel, especially because they really prioritize service. The hygiene is top-notch, you could even say it's spotless. Plus, the hotel's location is excellent, with tons of local eateries nearby, and a pedestrian street and night market just around the corner. Getting to the airport is super convenient too, only half an hour by subway. The facilities are great; the lounge downstairs even offers refreshing cold drinks like plum juice, which is a nice touch. Overall, I had a fantastic stay this time.

They say people make or break your experience and this hostel is no exception. The 4 friends who own this hostel have been building an awesome, welcoming space, with cozy and interesting decorations, most of which have been painted and drawn by them and their friends. The rooftop is really nice and really large, and the area is a nice local area with lots of food around + Kunming railway station. There are also 4 beautiful dogs here; 3 large ******* mountain strays they have adopted, and one tiny little stray from the streets of Kunming. They are super playful and very well cared for here. The whole place feels like a fun young family !All in all, I highly recommend staying here if you are in Kunming, and the beds/bedding are clean too! +(Water pressure is excellent)

Great location that it is near a lot of food places, a store, and the Stone Forest. Even though I already visited Stone Forest on my visit to Kunming in 2018, this was still a good room in that I get my privacy. Hotel workers were nice in that they gave me more water and wanted to make my bed even though I didn't need it. I liked how it had a heater in there to keep me warm whenever the room got too cold. The thing that I was unsure of is how much freedom and accessibility I get in being able to cook things in the kitchen at times and I was confused about whether I was allowed to eat the food that the cook makes, or it is only for guests that order food and pay for it from him. Sometimes the cook is unpredictable in that I don't know when he comes to cook between the lunch and dinner hours. The front desk women were friendly and helpful in giving me information about certain things. I appreciate it when they loaned me a phone charger temporarily when mine broke until I can get a new replacement one. Thank You for that. The only thing I would have to say, is that it is too far from the city center from the train station in where I need to be in order to catch the train to Hekou and cross the border into Vietnam.

Great location, look for the yellow boards and you will find it easily. The room items are little bit used but all is all right and clean. I would not recommend to stay during cold nights - the room doesnt have AC. I was staying in room 207 and i heard all noise from stairs, even just walking and also people in room 206 were awake and screaming whole night so be aware of that.
