My companions and I were all extremely satisfied with this stay. The 'posu bao' (flaky pastry bun) was a particular highlight, everyone raved about it! My colleague kept saying you provide 'angelic service.' I love every staff member here; they are attentive and thoughtful, and you can truly feel the genuine kindness radiating from them. Just now, the cleaning lady passed by and gave me an angelic smile, even though she could have easily ignored me while I was engrossed in my computer. This 'hidden gem in the city' that you meticulously maintain allowed us to feel incredibly relaxed. Whether it was the private hot spring, the calligraphy practice, or simply reading in the tearoom with the cat while listening to the rain, it all brought immense relaxation to our minds and bodies. Thank you for taking care of us these past few days. It was a truly wonderful experience, and we'll definitely be back! Service: 100%! It's a mere 3-5 minute walk to the entrance of the Xishan scenic area and Chayu Flower Street. Dianchi Greenway and sunset viewing spots are also nearby, making this the most hassle-free place to stay for hiking Xishan. 2. **Tranquil Environment, Great Lake and Mountain Views** The guesthouse is nestled in the village, offering a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle. The courtyard is lush with greenery and spotlessly clean. Some rooms boast views of Dianchi Lake and the 'Sleeping Beauty' of Xishan right from the window. Enjoy bird songs during the day and stunning lake views in the evening – perfect for photos and a relaxing, slow-paced stay. 3. **Clean Rooms, Practical Amenities** The decor is simple and cozy with excellent natural light. The bedding and bathroom facilities are clean and odor-free. Rooms come equipped with smart toilets, projectors, and branded toiletries. The family rooms also feature a kitchen and washing machine (allowing for cooking), providing ample space, making them ideal for families with children or friends traveling together. 4. **Warm Owners, Exceptionally Attentive Service** The owners are locals who greeted us at the entrance, helped secure free parking, provided parking tickets, and assisted with luggage. They proactively offered hiking routes for Xishan and gave excellent recommendations for local food and tips on what to avoid. It felt like staying with relatives – they were always happy to help with any request. 5. **Great Value for Money, Car-Friendly** The prices are very reasonable (100-200 RMB/night during off-peak season), with free parking and luggage storage. Compared to other accommodations of similar quality around the scenic area, the value for money here is exceptional.

I loved my stay here. It is a few minutes walk away from the railway station. There's a bunch of restaurants, convenience stores around the area too. I work remotely so the foldable chair is appreciated, but it is not comfortable for long hours of working but everything is all right. The room is VERY NEAT and hygienic. And I also appreciated the free laundry and washer self-service. 8/10 experience for me. However, there's one thing I wish they could improve on. So going to the bathroom, it is one step above from the rest of the room. I was tired from traveling from Shangri-La and when I finished washing my face in the bathroom, I missed the step and fell, and I hit my head on the wall. It was an accident. It was my fault. I reached out to the concierge via Wechat and asked them if they have any ice for me since I bumped my head, they only said that they don't have ice. I wish they could've helped me at my time of need by buying ice for me from the nearby milktea shop or convenience store. I just felt i wasn't taken care of. I don't mind that the hotel has no ice available, but they could've helped me in some other ways. I was also dizzy at that point, so I just slept the rest of the day. Additionally, I also asked them a couple more questions but they were not responsive to me anymore. The hotel also provides free coffee and the room is kept clean by daily housekeeping, which I appreciated. Thank you!

I was lucky enough to choose this guesthouse for two nights on this trip. The courtyard is beautiful, and it was so relaxing to sit out there and have a beer after a day of sightseeing. The owner's coffee is also delicious. The room facilities are pretty good for a guesthouse, and it was kept very clean. The guesthouse is located right by Dianchi Lake, so it's convenient for a stroll. Our Luoyuhe room was a bit small, and storage space felt a little cramped; I should have booked an upstairs room. Everything else was great, and I'll definitely recommend it to friends and family visiting Kunming.

Back in Kunming that evening, we skipped the queues and enjoyed the top-rated braised chicken feet barbecue. The overly friendly and enthusiastic landlady, who was almost prone to swearing, provided a wonderful final dinner for us, who were starving after a long day. Finally, we returned to our last resting place – a super luxurious mansion with an entrance garden, swimming pool, sauna, tea room, gym, entertainment room… Rangrang's carefully selected homestays truly made this trip a perfect ending! The exhausting part was that I had to cut my vacation short by a day for work, getting up at 5 am to catch my flight. The result was exactly the same as years ago when I returned to work after jet lag – I overslept the next day, hahaha! Just like in that dream.

I stayed for three nights, and overall, my experience was very satisfying. This hotel left the deepest impression on me during my trip to Yunnan. The private courtyard and hot spring gave it a real resort feel, and the quiet environment was perfect for relaxation. The breakfast quality was excellent; in addition to the usual offerings, there were freshly cooked items like pan-fried steak and fresh shrimp, which I looked forward to every morning. The service was an even bigger bonus. Our butler drove us to the mountaintop restaurant for breakfast, and any requests we had during our stay were promptly met. The whole process felt very comfortable—not overly intrusive, but help was always available immediately when needed. When we checked out, they even thoughtfully gave us some tea as a souvenir, which was a lovely touch. If you're looking for a hotel genuinely suited for a vacation and unwinding, I think it's definitely worth experiencing. I'll certainly come back if I have the chance.

The room was very clean. The location is super easy to find, about a ten-minute walk from the exit of Kunming Railway Station. There's a wide variety of food options nearby, all very affordable.

5/5 Excellent Location, Safe, Comfortable, and Great Value I had a wonderful stay at Home Inn Kunming. The hotel is located in Nanping Pedestrian Street, one of the most convenient and vibrant areas in Kunming. Many popular attractions, shopping centers, restaurants, and local landmarks are within walking distance, making it easy to explore the city without relying on transportation. The room was clean, well-maintained, and very quiet, allowing me to rest comfortably after a full day of sightseeing. I stayed for 3 days and 2 nights and enjoyed a peaceful and relaxing experience throughout my stay. The hotel also provides excellent security. The front desk is staffed 24 hours a day, and guests must use a key card to access the elevator and guest room floors. This added security made me feel safe and comfortable at all times. Another highlight was the complete range of amenities provided in the room. The hotel supplies toothbrushes, toothpaste, combs, shampoo, body wash, towels, and face towels, making the stay even more convenient and comfortable. Guests do not need to bring many personal items, as most essentials are thoughtfully provided. Overall, this hotel offers an excellent combination of location, cleanliness, comfort, convenience, and security. Considering the price, it provides outstanding value for money. I was very impressed with my stay and would definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Kunming. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a safe, comfortable, and centrally located hotel.

The hotel was newly opened in 2025. The hotel lift reaches every floor, room was good sized, very clean and hygienic with good amenities. The room condition dose matches the description as you can see on the hotel website. We stayed in the hotel for a few days and were very impressed with the level of service. Owners were friendly and helpful . Hotel is right in the middle of the prime shopping and eating district , just on the top of the subway station line 6 from airport line 30 mins) . Foods, supermarket and shopping just downstairs. There is good viewing from the apartment . I also requested late check out and it was granted this time (due to my flight was 21:30), the owner is so helpful and understanding . Owner's response is prompt when you contact him. I thoroughly recommend this hotel for those visiting Kunming City , Yunnan China.

Great location close to many amenities !! No issue with WiFi working greatly, been watching films every night !!! Great stuff, very friendly and helpful , stayed for few weeks, never had any issues !! Walking distance to various shopping malls and night markets !! Fruit market and vegetable markets very close by !!! Very convenient transport links, buses, tube taxis, rent electric bikes/scooters, etc…! About 10 minutes, walk to the great gym with a swimming pool !!! Many Great Dental Hospitals, fixed my teeth while staying, managed to install crowns !!! Also, if have time can have a good quality implants !! Very close to Kunming Zoo, other parks a temples…!
