The Terrace Hotel Lakeland, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

Nice room (single King), beautiful historic building/grounds that has been meticulously maintained and great location in the heart of Downtown Lakeland. Didn’t have a microwave which was odd but otherwise a good stay and friendly service.

Always a pleasure to stay at the Terrace hotel. The hotel rooms are comfortable, the staff is amazing, and it is close to many restaurants and bars in Lakeland. Parking is on site which is very convenient.

It’s quaint and historic - but has paper thin walls. You can hear people in adjoining rooms well as well as street noises.

I was born and raised in Lakeland, but left in 1970 when the Terrace Hotel was in decline. It's wonderful to see it restored.

The experience was top notch from the arrival to the departure. Clean , organize and safe property conveniently located to everything possible. The staff and team members were very polite and cosice , could ask for more of a fluid seamless system they have conquered!

Staff was very friendly. Room was bright and decorated nicely, though small as is to be expected at a historic hotel. It was very expensive when we were there, and I don't think worth the price. It appears to be a grand historic hotel, but there's no lobby to appreciate this -- only the dining room. There's no big historic lobby area, just a normal check-in desk. It is really the only place to stay if you want to be in downtown Lakeland, which is nice. We did enjoy walking around the small town. It would be nice if the hotel provided a walking map to the historic buildings or things to see. Free valet parking from a very nice attendant. There's a small veranda at the back for sitting outside.

My trip here occurred during Easter weekend so definitely a busy time. The hotel was wonderful and the staff pleasant to deal with starting with valet outside. Very lovely hotel - crisp, clean, with luxury that's not over the top. My one concern is that, being downtown, this is a noisy area but the soundproofing whether the windows or walls need work. At night there would be loud hangouts on the top level of the parking garage across the street and you could REALLY hear it from inside my room. The room had windows facing this area so I wasn't surprised to hear something, even sirens once, but the amount of noise coming through surprised me.
