Learning from my experience of booking a more expensive but windowless executive room, I went for a balcony room this time. The room was spacious and the balcony large and with a safe high railing. The views were great. Checking in was the same laborious process as for my first stay: instead of handing me the key card, I had to wait for another staff member to pick me up and lead me to the room. This is so annoying and in itself a reason to avoid this hotel. Breakfast on the first day was the same poor quality as during my last stay. On my last morning, however, the hotel, for no apparently reason to me, upped their game and significantly improved breakfast choices, adding jam, a soup, fried rice and several choices of scrambled egg to the offering, making breakfast acceptable rather than a joke.
