Hotels near Agios Pavlos Beach, Rhodes

Pros: The apartment's main advantage is the beautiful view from the window. The air conditioning, refrigerator, hairdryer, and safe worked perfectly. The room is spacious (we shared a room). There's a kitchen set and a shoe rack. There's plenty of storage space with plenty of hangers (a rarity in hotels/apartments). Even though we communicated with the management remotely upon check-in, they helped us figure out how to set the code on the safe and why the air conditioning wasn't working. Very prompt and clear. Thank you. At the end of our stay, the owner came in person, asked for feedback, and took into account our comments about the quality of cleaning (read below). Cons: 1. The mattress and pillows were soft. Fortunately, there were extra, firmer pillows in the room. But that's a minor detail. A matter of taste. 2. Cleaning. When we arrived, we found a dirty dish sponge (apparently from the previous owners). There were stains and streaks on the mirror and dirty dishes that I didn't particularly want to use. In the bathroom, there was a urine stain on the toilet rim 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️ I've never encountered anything like this before. The shower stall and sink were quite dirty. Even if you wiped them down, the ingrained dirt wouldn't come off. It's definitely time to replace the pop-up valve on the sink; it's in really bad shape. It's inexpensive, but it won't throw your guests off guard when you see it. The weak water pressure in the shower head also left much to be desired. Then, one day, when we returned from breakfast, the cleaning lady was ”cleaning” our room. I witnessed her finish ”cleaning” the bathroom without washing her hands and then start washing our glasses (which, by the way, we washed). After that, I started cleaning the floors, if you can call it that. First, I vacuumed selectively (in some spots, not the entire floor), and then used a slightly damp mop, also selectively. After this cleaning, our socks were still dirty, and the sand from our previous visit to the beach was still there. We decided to skip the cleaning for the remaining days. Better none than this. 3. This doesn't apply to the apartment, but keep in mind two important points: the high rise (even by local standards) and the location of a nightclub nearby, whose music doesn't stop until 3:00 p.m. While the first point is more than compensated for by the beautiful view and private location, the second adds to the discomfort. For €270+ per night, you expect a little more. If the accommodation were 20-30% cheaper, I wouldn't even notice these shortcomings. Otherwise, 4 out of 5.

An experience I wanted to try for two nights as I never have. Beautiful place but not walking distance to anywhere close by The food was amazing and the service. The pool was amazing too. The private beach was gorgeous. Being greeted with champagne and a flannel plus fruit was a real treat for me

We had a wonderful stay at Lindos Sun. The service was excellent, the food good, and the poolside restaurant was a pleasant surprise — offering generous portions at very reasonable prices. We were lucky to receive a complimentary upgrade from a superior room to one with a private pool, which made our stay even more enjoyable. A few minor downsides: the nearest supermarket is about a 25-minute walk away along a busy road, so we recommend taking the bus, which conveniently stops right outside the hotel. Breakfast was good overall, though drinks had to be ordered through the staff rather than being self-serve. This sometimes led to delays — drinks arrived 10–15 minutes after we’d finished eating, which was a bit inconvenient. All in all, we had a great experience at Lindos Sun. While there are a few small areas for improvement, it’s a lovely hotel that offers great value and service.

Fabulous out of season break, excellent service even during storms!

Excellent hotel. Spent 4 days here. Very responsible, competent staff. Good restaurant. Quite close to the beach, but keep in mind that the area is mountainous, so it is difficult to move around on foot, especially with children.
