JJianqiaodeyunThe room is large, the swimming pool is beautiful, and the breakfast is rich, fresh and nutritious. It is located in the central area, and the building next door is being renovated. Those looking for quiet may be disappointed. However, the front desk allowed us to check out one day early, and we received a refund after many communications. Great!

JJimmy Gerrard HarawiraStaff are helpful and friendly, breakfast at the designated restaurant is very good! I would recommend this hotel to a friend based in the two points I mentioned. It’s about 10-15 minute walk from the beach area and very close to one of the temples.

SSeveino brigatoThe Radisson Pont du Chery is a hotel of no more than four stars, and it is very far from the main (white) part of the city. It is about 13–14 km away, and the hotel charges USD 20 each way, USD 20 to go and USD 20 to return. So, if someone wants to visit Pont du Chery, the hotel is extremely far. Moreover, there is nothing around the hotel at all—zero, a desert. It is suitable only for those who want to stay isolated from the city and close to the beach (about 500 meters away). Otherwise, it is not suitable for a tourist who wants to visit Pont du Chery🛜🛜🛜 The staff is excellent. The breakfast is good. The reception staff is exceptional

GGuest UserThe staff were really nice and attentive to all our needs, organising taxis, tours, Ayurvedic treatments and the free activities which included Chef. It was a great experience except with the hot season, the restaurant was hot even with the fans. However that’s also part of the experience in an old mansion

GGuest UserLovely oasis of calm, boutique hotel in the heart of the White Town. We stayed for 2 nights. We dined at the restaraunt on the first night, the food and ambience was excellent. We also dined twice at their sister restaraunt” La Villa” which had a 7 course taster menu that was excellent and great value for money. They are also affiliated with the bar/restaraunt ”The Spot” which we really enjoyed visiting during the day for a drink and spot of lunch in a nice courtyard. Breakfast at Villa Shanti was also good and the staff were all very polite and friendly. Our room was charming and comfortable. We felt the roof terrace area could have been a more attractive area to sit out on than it was it was quite basic and felt a bit neglected but otherwise we found the hotel a great place to stay.

GGuest UserThe hotel is nestled in the French town part of Pondicherry which is within walking distance to the promenade and the numerous cafés and restraints scattered around. The staff are cordial, the place neat and spacious. The hotel does neither have a parking no area for cars nor facility for drivers. Overall an enjoyable stay.

GGuest UserGreat stay in Pondicherry. The best thing about this hotel is the location, only about 20 minute walk to the train station or to the major attractions. The hotel itself is simple, but provides everything you’d need during your stay.
