The snowy mountain scenery is beautiful, and the view from the window is also great. The room was quite comfortable and quiet. The service, however, was very, very average. As for the snacks and ramen they supposedly offered, they were gone after a short while, and some I didn't even see where they were located. The open-air hot spring was good. For the French dinner, only the beef was decent, and the Japanese dinner wasn't very tasty either.

Not your normal hostel - a great place to stay. The staff are friendly and were very helpful. Spacious kitchen and shared area. Very clean in every area. Lovely Onsen after being in the mountain. Best to bring your own food although they do have a small shop to buy supplies. Near to the tourist information centre to hire snow shoes, boots, cross country skis etc.

This hotel is on the mountain, private, quiet, and has a rich history. The room facilities are good. I arrived after Christmas at the end of December. The snow was thick and soft. I personally think it is better than the snow in Xuexiang. The breakfast and dinner are Japanese style, and the taste is good, suitable for Chinese tastes. The hot spring water is natural, with hot pools and warm water pools, which are very comfortable. I will stay here again next time.

The hotel is strategically located next to gondola lift to Mt Asahidake, hence perfect location after 5 hours hike to Mt Asahidake. We reached the hotel from Asahikawa by bus 66. We stayed in 2 rooms for 2 nights (halfboard). Breakfast is ok and and dinner was fantastic. Just giving my feedback, breakfast time is very short, only until 9am. Should be longer for holiday hotel. Room is very spacious. Price is also expensive but you get what you paid.
