The location is quite remote; you won't find convenience stores or similar amenities nearby for late-night errands. It's best suited for those driving, and only really convenient if it's already on your planned route.
The views are excellent, offering a wide, panoramic bridge view. It appears most, if not all, rooms face the same direction, guaranteeing this bridge view.
The onsen was decent, though the outdoor bath could have been warmer.
Breakfast was superb – definitely make sure to add it to your booking!

Small chill hotel, 4min from the train station, free dinner in there evening.
Booked this place because I wanted to go see the nearby bridge view - the hotel had great last minute availability and a free dinner after a day of sightseeing was a welcome surprise!
I went to Kurashiki next morning and the direct bus leaves from a bus stop 2min away from the hotel - super convenient.

It is a great deal with the shipyard tour for free. BBQ is the best location. (Reservation required) It is inconvenient from Kojima Station, but there are times when you negotiate with the hotel and they will pick you up, so it is necessary to consult.

The nearest station is Tokiwa Station on the Mizushima Rinkai Railway. It's conveniently located, just a two-minute walk from the station.
The hotel overall was very clean, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable.
The breakfast and dinner options were plentiful. They were delicious!!
The large public bath can fit six or seven people at a time. When I used it, there was no one there, so I was able to soak in the tub without any problems.
During the day, you can shop at the nearby supermarket. The nearest convenience store is a little far away.
There are many delicious restaurants, so you'll have no trouble finding something to eat.

Went with my family, the Japanese service is very good and polite! The Chinese service girl is very indifferent! At the checkout, because Ctrip showed a guarantee amount, we asked her. She said she didn’t know. Anyway, it says that we will pay when we pay at the store. In fact, we just want him to ask about it! Anyway this
All rooms are oceanview. The evening sun looks very beautiful from the hotel. The special product "The drum show" is held in our hotel.
GGuest User2024.01.23
This time I stayed with my foreign husband. The lobby was classy and the historic atmosphere inside the building was very nice. I was impressed that I could see the wide ocean from my Japanese-style room. It's a traditional hotel, so the building itself is old (we liked the atmosphere, on the contrary), but it was well-maintained and the tatami mats were clean. We had our meals in our room, and the variety of dishes served looked gorgeous, and my husband was so impressed by the sumptuous Japanese food that he took many photos. It was delicious! In the evening, I went to the lobby to see Washu Taiko perform. My husband was really excited about this and we really enjoyed watching it from beginning to end! When I was deciding on a hotel this time, I heard that there would be a performance by Washu Taiko, and I decided on it, and it was really impressive! The staff was very responsive and I was very satisfied with my stay! I think this is a very good hotel where even foreigners can feel the Japanese atmosphere! I definitely want to go again!

The rooms are spacious and the location is excellent. This is my go-to hotel every time I visit, offering great value for money. It's also very close and convenient to the Bikan Historical Quarter. I highly recommend it if you're planning to stay a night in Kurashiki.

I always use it.
It is very helpful because there is a plan to stay in 3 people 1 room.
Also, breakfast is always used without being crowded, but it's a pity that there are no * types. The breakfast fee was 1400 yen for the day ticket, which has risen considerably ...

Amazing
MMomomomoweimoThe location is superb, very close to the station! Right outside, there's a large supermarket just down a small path. It's also very close to the Bikan Historical Quarter, and there's a popular tonkatsu restaurant nearby that always has a long queue.
The room was small, actually the smallest of the five hotels I booked on this trip.
The shower came with a bathtub, and the drain was a bit clogged.
I left something behind at the hotel, and they kindly helped send it to my next hotel. Many thanks!
GGiuliThe location is amazing. The hotel has a carpark and a lovely Japanese style buffet breakfast with a few western options as well.
Our room was a non-smoking room, but the smoke smell was there...and at the lobby you could smell an unpleasant fish odor from the restaurant. Level of cleanliness not the best, but still decent.
Good value for money.
GGuest UserIt is one of the best hotels in Kurashiki area with easy walking distance to the Kurashiki 美観地区. Stunning view, magnificent vibe, numerous shopping facilities…., etc., you name it.
Large scale parking facilities are available just across this hotel.
Highly recommend for everyone who is going to visit Kurashiki.
ててんてこまいちゃんWhile it's a bit of a walk from the station, having so many shops nearby was a big plus. The room was clean and I was happy with it, but the breakfast, unfortunately, was quite disappointing 😢. In the small breakfast area, a staff member was constantly standing there, observing everyone. It felt like we were being watched the whole time, which made it uncomfortable and awkward to get food and eat. Despite their constant presence, no greetings or guidance were offered to guests entering the breakfast area. Given the reasonable price, I suppose I can't complain too much, but as a huge fan of breakfast buffets, I opted to eat elsewhere the following day. This breakfast venue also serves as the welcome drink area during check-in, and I was disappointed to find the floor sticky when I received my drink there.
CChristineLo910This was my first stay at this hotel. It's conveniently located near the station and an outlet mall, about a 5-10 minute walk away, mostly on flat ground. However, there aren't many convenience stores nearby; the closest option is a supermarket that's open until 11 PM, which is quite handy.
Upon check-in, the front desk informed us that check-in was between 11 AM and 3 PM, but we could already hear vacuuming noises as early as 9:30 AM.
**Room:**
The room was quite cramped, barely allowing enough space to open two 28-inch suitcases. The bathroom had good ventilation and was very clean. The soundproofing, however, could be improved. We could clearly hear people walking or talking in the corridor, and even the cleaning staff when they were on the same floor. The TV remote control was quite dusty, and the reception between the remote and the TV was poor. The air conditioning unit was located above the bed and was reasonably quiet. The hallways had low ceilings and were quite dim.
**Local Area/Activities:**
There are numerous restaurants and a supermarket nearby. The Kurashiki Bikan Historical Quarter is also accessible with about a 20-minute walk.
**Safety:**
I had some concerns regarding safety. The public bath could be accessed without a card, and the doors to both the men's and women's baths were frequently left open.
**Walkability:**
A supermarket is conveniently located about 5 minutes away on foot. Kurashiki Station is a 5-8 minute walk, and it's easily accessible not only by road but also via a connecting pedestrian bridge, which is very convenient. Ario Kurashiki and Mitsui Outlet Park Kurashiki are both within a 10-minute walk.
**Dining:**
There's a dining area located on the lobby floor, and breakfast can be purchased separately. Snacks and drinks are available for ¥200 each. Additionally, near the front desk, there's a self-service area offering daily essentials and green tea powder.
**Important Notes:**
The large public bath is not a natural hot spring (onsen). The changing room is quite small, with only about 10-12 lockers, 3 vanity stations, and 4 shower stalls. The shower water pressure was a bit low, and the water temperature was inconsistent. The bath itself was also quite shallow. It is open 24 hours. There is one massage chair available for guest use. There's only one elevator, which is not very spacious, leading to longer waiting times. Rooms only have two door hanger options: 'refill towel' or 'please clean,' which must be placed outside the door before 11 AM for service. Self-service laundry and drying facilities are available.
GGuest UserI stayed in a dormitory type. The bed was well separated and it was easy to spend. The shared space was clean and the amenities were neat and comfortable. The atmosphere of the cafe and the breakfast were good.
GGuest UserThe location is great. Unfortunately, it was raining so we couldn't take a walk in the museum garden. They provided umbrellas which was helpful. It was a very cold day so it would have been nice to have a large public bath. Overall, it was very good.
GGuest UserI heard that it was a new hotel, so I expected a lot of cleanliness, I was very grateful for the location, but it was a pity that the smell of chlorine was strong when I entered the public bath in the morning.
GGanCCVery good hotel with good location
Definitely best choice if u choose to stay at Kurashiki
Walking distance to bukkake udon, bikin and close to train where u can half day trip to Okayama
I will prefer to stay at Kurashiki Station compare to Okayama station
The Wagyu restaurant just located opposite of the hotel with very very much affordable price than Tokyo
Mmin82827It is very close to Xinkangshi Station, ten minutes walk from the beautiful area, and there is a convenience store downstairs. The beautiful shopping street is within walking distance, and there is a store in Snoopy. The first floor of the hotel can simply get breakfast, which is very convenient.
