This was my first time trying a Japanese bathhouse, and I loved it! We stayed in a larger room for four people; the adults slept on the beds, and the kids slept on the tatami mats. Dinner was amazing—a semi-buffet with crab legs, yakiniku (grilled pork), sukiyaki, and various kinds of sake. Then we happily soaked in the hot spring. We checked in on a Saturday and didn't meet a single other Chinese person; it was all local Japanese tourists. Highly recommended! Great value for money!

There were several Chinese waiters in the hotel, so communication was barrier-free. I booked a one-night stay and two-meals package, and the breakfast and dinner were very good.
