Hotels near Yachigashira Onsen, Hakodate

The staffs were friendly and helpful. They share that the carpark beside the hotel also belongs to theirs and we may pay the car park fee to the hotel and collect the QR code slip each time we exit the carpark to enjoy multiple entrance/exit for the day. The car park fee is really affordable with multiple entrance/exit. However for the hotel room per night considered on a high side but the hotel location was so convenient, few minutes walk to JR Hakodate Station and Hakodate Morning Market. It was a pleasant stay and first time experience in Hakodate - JR Inn Hakodate. We will definitely return if we ever come Hakodate again. Thank you so much!

I stayed in a D-Fourth Non smoking room on the 8th floor. The room has a nice view of Mount Hakodate from the balcony and a view of the port from the bedroom window. Room was clean and there is daily cleaning if you ask for it. Cooking utensils are available though no condiments provided. The bath system is electronic and took a while to figure out how to use it. Room was spacious and adequate for 4 of us. What we loved is that while the dryer did not really dry our clothes (separate washer and dryer), the heater in the room was strong enough to dry them and we could borrow a rack from the hotel to hang them out to dry. Only improvement we would like to suggest - we arrived when it was snowing heavily, and as we moved our luggage into the room the floor became wet and dirtied, we had to clean with tissue as there is no floor cleaner available.would be nice to provide self cleaning tools especially since there is a kitchen and things might spill. And also the balcony did not have any ‘balcony’ shoes so it was just too cold to step outside to enjoy the scenary. Nonetheless, we enjoyed our stay in the hotel. Would choose it again if we go Hakodate.

Staff in the restaurant are excellent. Speak good English and is very friendly and willing to help and serve at all times. We forgot the breakfast time ends at 9am and we only started 8.30am. The old lady in the restaurant kindly offered us to bring unfinished food back to our room to finish them. She even brought us tissue papers making sure we have everything we need. The onsen is nice and in traditional Japanese style. We enjoyed our stay very much and will definitely come again.

I think the travle bus is free is nice and the ambiance of the hotel is fantastic You must try the hot bath and stay in the 2 floor to enjoy your vacation

Beautiful hotel on the beach with private onsen and shower on the balcony overlooking the ocean. Also large public onsens available. Short taxi rides away to tourist spots.

The room size is just nice for 3 pax, but if open all luggages, will have minimal walking space to toilet. Location is near to train station and market. There is parking available beside the hotel though need to pay 700 yen per day. The room that we got however comes with some issues: 1) there is no heater within the room and the air conditioner can't be set to a temperature that is suitable for us. It only has low, medium, high settings for air conditioner and it is cold air. 2) the toilet drainage has issue too, after showering, the water flooded the whole floor outside the bath tub. The good thing is after reporting the flooding issue, the receptionist send a service man to repair the chokage immediately. The next day the reception also pass us a portable heater to keep ourselves warm.

The hotel's cleanliness is acceptable. Even though the hotel is a bit dated and small, the overall experience is manageable.

Great ryokan experience if you are in Hakodate. Everyone is very welcoming and the food is delicious.

It is a little far from Hakodate city, but very close to the airport. The facilities may be a little lacking compared to the surrounding ryokans, but the breakfast and dinner more than make up for it. The staff are friendly, and there is a female staff member who speaks Korean well, so there is no inconvenience at all.

Good location to visit goryokaku tower. The room is good and comfort.
