I was a bit disappointed by the limited number of convenience facilities and restaurants within the resort. There are a few more dining options if you drive out, but the parking is so cramped that I hesitated to move my car. The parking, which is limited to ground level and one underground floor, is incredibly difficult to navigate. Especially during check-in hours (3-4 PM), it's a parking war due to guests using the ski & board and water park for the day. A plus point, though, is the mobile check-in option, which helps avoid long waits to get your room number. Also, if you're using a stroller, be aware that when moving to the basement, the stroller path suddenly turns into stairs. So, for convenience, always use the outdoor path on the first floor. If you're going to the kids' lounge with a stroller, go towards Lotteria instead of Baskin-Robbins; it's right on the second floor. (The building itself has no elevator, only stairs.) This was my first time staying in the Green Wing condo, and the iron door closing, soundproofing, and people constantly smoking on the terrace (the smell kept coming in and was really annoying!) made me decide to avoid the Green and Orange Wings from now on.

I really loved how clean the room was, and the ample parking space made everything so convenient. What surprised me most was having a water dispenser and even a coffee machine right in the room! 👍🏻 I definitely want to come back to Hotel Around! The view is great, and the price is fantastic too!

The location is quite good,not so for from convince store, 10 minutes to the ski ressort. The rooms are a bit cold during the winter and taking a shower is freezing. Otherwise the staff is very helpful.

Staying in the spa room 301, I enjoyed snowboarding at Phoenix Park. Although it was the first time I traveled for a long time to ride snowboard, it was one of the best choices in my whole travel life. Clean and friendly pension.

We like to stay in this hotel. Have breakfast in a cozy cafe. The rooms are warm, clean and equipped with kitchen and shower. For me, the truth has only one disadvantage: in the corridors of the hotel, the weather is very cold, and in the shower close to the room, it is also very cold and not very comfortable. Due to underfloor heating, only the room is heated. We booked a room with 2 tatami mats. The wall felt cool when we slept, but because the floor was very hot and the bed itself was very hot, the bones had been injured the next night, so we changed to another room, a larger one The room (even warmer) has a bed and tatami mats. . I think this is the best choice. When you have a European bed and a Korean tatami, you will feel all the ”charm” of Korean sleep and be familiar with us. It can be said that it feels different. Not far from the elevator, cafes and shops are nearby. Have a good rest!

Staying here feels like visiting a Korean family home rather than just booking an accommodation. The owner is incredibly kind, polite, and warm. They treated us like their own kids, always making sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. You can truly feel their sincerity. The house is so peaceful and perfect for a family day gathering. There are so many facilities provided, honestly, just name it! Everything you need is already there. The owner also made our trip so much easier in so many ways, and I’m genuinely so thankful for that.To all Malaysians and anyone from other countries — please, please come and stay at this house! I would give it 100/10 without hesitation. 🤍

GGuest UserI booked this place without much expectation after seeing the exterior and photos, but the location was fantastic, and the view was almost like Switzerland. There were plenty of good restaurants nearby.
More than anything, the room was spacious and comfortable, and the cleaning staff kept it clean, which was great :)
I requested a quiet room, and they gave me a room farthest from the elevator, in a corner, which I was very happy with. Even during vacation season, it was incredibly quiet! (The soundproofing seemed good, too!) Next time I visit Daegwallyeong, I'd definitely book here again. I had a wonderful three-day, two-night stay! :>

MMiomaoIt was clean, the bedding was comfortable, and the owner was very kind.
I was worried about the draft because it was a full-length window on a weekend when the temperature dropped below zero. The room was so warm that I could only stay in bed because the floor was hot, and the shower room heater, the sky was visible when I lay down, and the electric curtain option was perfect for a camper van!
Above all, these days, if you travel with middle and elementary school students who are growing up, you definitely need a room with two double beds, so you book a suite or two rooms, but here, all four families can stay in one place, so that was also good. The owner made a small, old-style sledding hill between the campers, and my second child had a great time there in the evening! They prepared everything very carefully:)
Since we went empty-handed, we paid an additional 110,000 won for dinner, and the portions were generous, and the scallops and shrimp that came with the meat were delicious. Kimchi in soybean paste stew was perfect :)
It snowed a lot in the morning, so I took a lot of pretty pictures, and the kind mothers prepared a simple but generous breakfast, so I ate well and rested well. It was a Pyeongchang trip. Next time, I plan to go in spring/summer/fall and enjoy the beautiful nature even more!

Honestly the room is nice, with cooking facilities but the owner was not friendly at all.
The toilet was stuck and leak they came with only the plunger and ask us settle ourself.
Is winter and we came with kids, the kids built a snowman and they destroyed the snowman after we went for ski trip.
We are a group of 10 and we wanted to cook our dinner. There is a small hut with table and chair and BBQ facilities, we ask to BBQ facilities (We are willing to pay, 10,000 won as stated) but she said is winter so we can’t use the BBQ pit, ended up we use the stove to cook up the meat.
The husband and wife came in to the huts and told us we can’t do BBQ but we explained to her we just cook the meat and we didn’t do any BBQ. We left the place with cleaner than we came in. I have to WhatsApp her and show her the place is cleaned.
The warn us that we must left the place by 1am but in fact all of us finished eh 9.30pm every day since we are tired from Ski.
During the last day, they came to us and I was thinking they come and say goodbye but they just make sure we throw every single piece of rubbish outside the house.
My husband wear shoe and just step to take our luggage and the owner insist us to take out the shoe before we went in to the house. Although we have explained, we just step in and take the luggage and go, he insisted us to take out the shoes.
I have been travelling all around the world and we do understand every cultural is different but as the operator of tourist industry, the owner has to be service minded. If you can’t accept any international travellers then please do not list your place in any platform or put up a notice that international tourist is not permitted to stay there and we won’t book accordingly.
Is such a shame to see this happened to us after our 5th trip to Korea and our 3rd trip to Pyeongchang for ski.

GGuest UserThe hotel is beautiful. There are nice restaurants within the hotel compound so you do not need to go anywhere. The view from the balcony was amazing (slop view). Amenities sufficient, room spacious. We took 2 of these rooms since we were 2 adults and 2 kids (12 years old). The beds are super single and 2 ppl sleeping on a bed is do-able or there is loads of space for an additional bed.
We didn't have bfast but a lot of restaurants and a CU within the hotel compound.
A word of advice, if you are coming from Seoul, stop at JINBU STATION and not Pyeongchang station. We made a mistake of going to Pyeongchang station which is far away and the cab will cost krw 60,000 per way. Jinbu station is just 5 minutes away.

GGuest UserNice place to stay. Very close to Mona Yongpyong Ski Resort. Nice view. Ample parking space. Spacious Room. Ondol room can fit 6 people. Kitchenette provided for cooking. There was an issue with our toilet where the toilet bowl is clogged. When we contact the front desk, they promptly send a staff to fix the toilet. Everything is perfect and we enjoy our stay at Tower Condominium.

김김I made a night trip to Gangwon Province, so I made a reservation in a hurry and entered late in the evening and couldn't stop by in detail. The entrance was dark on the night road, so it was a bit hesitant. The counter staff kindly responded. The room was clean and warm and I went to sleep well. There is no convenience store in the hostel, so you have to buy it in advance at a convenience store 5-10 minutes drive away.
