GGuest UserIf you’re someone who wants to escape the busy city life and experience real home-cooked Korean food, this is the perfect place for you. Staying here feels like visiting a Korean family home rather than just booking an accommodation. The owner is incredibly kind, polite, and warm. They treated us like their own kids, always making sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. You can truly feel their sincerity. The house is so peaceful and perfect for a family day gathering. There are so many facilities provided, honestly, just name it! Everything you need is already there. The owner also made our trip so much easier in so many ways, and I’m genuinely so thankful for that.To all Malaysians and anyone from other countries — please, please come and stay at this house! I would give it 100/10 without hesitation. 🤍
AAriesha Nadhira RoslaneMy friends and I came to Intercontinental Alpensia because we got a really good deal and expected to experience snow right at the resort. The snow arrived a bit later than we hoped but honestly, we still had such a good time! The room was lovely, the weather was perfectly chilly (sometimes too cold.. so come prepared!) and we were lucky to catch real snow at Mount Balsangwan by taking the cable car at nearby resort (Mona Yongpyeong)
We have to give a huge shout out to the in-room dining service; the Beef Risotto and Frutti di Mare Pasta were soooo good. Truly delicious!
The whole area is so pretty and calm, especially with the Christmas vibe when we visited. Everything felt cozy and magical. We definitely plan to return! ❄️💙
KKKKSAThe boss was kind, of course, and the room was in good condition. There were various karaoke rooms, table tennis tables, board games under the guide room, so I enjoyed it properly.
The dome barbecue area (free use, you can apply for accommodation or buy meat yourself) was also very good.
I fainted as soon as I lay down with my husband ~~
I want to go again if I have a chance.
TTuxannie WuanThe place is good, 7 minutes to ski and has a supermarket and eatery place nearby.
Honestly the room is nice, with cooking facilities but the owner was not friendly at all.
The toilet was stuck and leak they came with only the plunger and ask us settle ourself.
Is winter and we came with kids, the kids built a snowman and they destroyed the snowman after we went for ski trip.
We are a group of 10 and we wanted to cook our dinner. There is a small hut with table and chair and BBQ facilities, we ask to BBQ facilities (We are willing to pay, 10,000 won as stated) but she said is winter so we can’t use the BBQ pit, ended up we use the stove to cook up the meat.
The husband and wife came in to the huts and told us we can’t do BBQ but we explained to her we just cook the meat and we didn’t do any BBQ. We left the place with cleaner than we came in. I have to WhatsApp her and show her the place is cleaned.
The warn us that we must left the place by 1am but in fact all of us finished eh 9.30pm every day since we are tired from Ski.
During the last day, they came to us and I was thinking they come and say goodbye but they just make sure we throw every single piece of rubbish outside the house.
My husband wear shoe and just step to take our luggage and the owner insist us to take out the shoe before we went in to the house. Although we have explained, we just step in and take the luggage and go, he insisted us to take out the shoes.
I have been travelling all around the world and we do understand every cultural is different but as the operator of tourist industry, the owner has to be service minded. If you can’t accept any international travellers then please do not list your place in any platform or put up a notice that international tourist is not permitted to stay there and we won’t book accordingly.
Is such a shame to see this happened to us after our 5th trip to Korea and our 3rd trip to Pyeongchang for ski.
GGuest UserThe overall service met our expectations. For beginner skiers like us, this ski resort is more than adequate. There hasn't been any recent snowfall, so all the snow on the slopes is man-made. The hotel room was spacious, a family-style layout with a large bed and a small bed, perfect for a family trip.
GGuest UserThe check-in experience was disappointing. The front desk receptionist was rude, unfriendly, and impatient. As tourists who are not familiar with public transport online ticketing, we needed assistance, but the staff was not helpful. Better customer service and support for international guests are needed.
KKannika_YI recently stayed at this hotel and had a pleasant experience overall. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with all the basic amenities I needed for a relaxing stay. The staff were polite, helpful, and attentive whenever I had questions or requests, which made the experience even better.
The location was convenient, with easy access to nearby shops, restaurants, and transportation. The hotel environment felt safe, and the common areas were tidy and welcoming. While there were a few areas that could be improved—such as faster check-in during busy periods or more variety in the breakfast options—the stay was still enjoyable.
Overall, it’s a good choice for both short and long stays, offering comfort, convenience, and reasonable value.
GGuest UserNice place to stay. Very close to Mona Yongpyong Ski Resort. Nice view. Ample parking space. Spacious Room. Ondol room can fit 6 people. Kitchenette provided for cooking. There was an issue with our toilet where the toilet bowl is clogged. When we contact the front desk, they promptly send a staff to fix the toilet. Everything is perfect and we enjoy our stay at Tower Condominium.
HHYUNSOOThe manager was friendly
There is no window in the room, so ventilation is difficult
It smells a little on the pillow.
It's not easy to unlock.
The net is not open and closed.
김김I made a night trip to Gangwon Province, so I made a reservation in a hurry and entered late in the evening and couldn't stop by in detail. The entrance was dark on the night road, so it was a bit hesitant. The counter staff kindly responded. The room was clean and warm and I went to sleep well. There is no convenience store in the hostel, so you have to buy it in advance at a convenience store 5-10 minutes drive away.
