I had a great time here, it was my husbands bday, they room we booked had a birthday cake and a wine, the restaurant also gave us a birthday dessert , the hotel staff were cheerful and nice, the breakfast was okay, the room had everything you need. The Spa was the highlight for me  I will definitely recommend.

InterContinental Hotels CASCAIS-ESTORIL by IHG

”Facing the sea, with spring flowers blooming” perfectly describes this hotel. The intercity railway station is located nearby by the sea. As the train slowly passes by in the sunset, seagulls soar in the distance, and the sound of waves crashing creates a tranquil and romantic scene, making it a wonderful place to relax and unwind. The hotel staff are friendly, welcoming, and attentive, paying attention to detail to ensure guests enjoy quiet and comfortable time alone without being disturbed. The well-maintained garden in the back is beautiful and worth admiring! Just outside the hotel, you can stroll to the town to appreciate its old-fashioned architecture and local culture. Unfortunately, it was winter and I was too cold to use the hotel's swimming facilities, but I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in the area!

**First time in Portugal**, and we chose the Hilton hotel as we were confident in their service. Indeed, we were not wrong. Friendly staff explained everything thoroughly. We arrived a bit early, but they prepared the room for us. The location is very convenient: **Lisbon is just a 30–40 minute taxi ride away**, and other attractions are also nearby. The rooms are cozy and clean. **Complimentary water** is provided. Breakfasts are delicious.

We stayed at the Villa Gale Cascais for 4 nights checked in May 1st - checked out May 5th. First off the staff were so friendly and polite and very helpful, our bedroom was spotless with a balcony overlooking the pool and fantastic garden areas, I would highly recommend the Villa Gale Cascais for a couple or a family holiday great location only a 10 minute walk to the center of Cascais and the swimming pool area is perfect for children and adults with plenty of sun loungers around the pool. 5*****.

Standard three star hotel. Fantastic location and easy to get to all the main sightseeing stuff. Some aesthetic issues in the room. Cigarette burn in the cloth headboard, bathroom sink bowl wasn’t bolted down, and the top rain shower head didn’t work and the shower area had mold. Pretty standard European two single beds pushed together, no bigger than a dorm room mat and about as soft as a box spring. The air conditioner controller is just for show, the main staff has control over it. But other than a hard bed that would split down the middle having you fall through and in between the mattresses, a hot room, and a bathroom sink almost torn from the fixtures and nearly dropped on the ol toes the staff is amazing and the just having the sheer proximity to the lively restaurants and beaches overshadowed any of the negatives

Great Location with Stunning Sea Views – Highly Recommended! My stay at this hotel was a wonderful experience, and I’d love to share the highlights: First, the location is unbeatable. It’s right next to Praia do Guincho – a vast beach that’s absolute perfection for surfing or catching breathtaking sunsets. For those flying in, it’s about a 40-50 minute drive from Lisbon Airport, and best of all, free parking is provided for guests with cars. The staff deserves a big shoutout too. The reception uncle may look a little serious at first glance, but he’s incredibly kind – he even upgraded us to a sea-view room! All other staff, from reception and restaurant teams to housekeeping, were attentive. A special mention goes to a short-statured receptionist with black hair: he noticed us struggling with car rental and fuel questions, and proactively stepped in to help – his warmth made our trip easier. While the hotel’s facilities feel a bit outdated, the cleanliness is top-notch, especially the dining areas for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We tried the Seafood Rice (60 Euros) for dinner, and it was authentically delicious – a real standout. The pool is also visually stunning, though we couldn’t take a dip this time due to cool weather (we’re already looking forward to trying it next visit!). If you’re looking for a hotel with great scenery and a convenient spot near the beach, this one is a no-brainer. Highly recommended!

I spent one night at the accommodation, I arrived late but managed to get the keys, thanks to a staff member at the reception desk, who promptly and efficiently showed me the way to my room.

Help Yourself Hostels - Carcavelos Coast

6.4/10

I had a nice stay in the hostel, it just feels like home and everyone was friendly and accomodating. What I really like was the location because it was just close to the beautiful Carcavelos Beach, shops and metro station are also nearby so it was very convinient. Another thing that I like about my stay was the amenities they offer like the kitchen where you can cook your food anytime, they also have a swimming pool, a spacious living area where you can watch tv or just chill with your phone or laptop. I would difinitely recommend this hostel and would probably stay here again on my next visit to Portugal.
