"I stayed here at the Wyndham in Charleston, South Carolina. while i was in between my house closings. They have been very helpful here. It's very clean. The amenities are great, and the location is excellent. You feel like you're at home. I would suggest to anybody to stay at that hotel."
"I stayed at the hotel for three days to attend a conference. My first impression was that the room was spacious enough for a solo stay, equipped with a coffee pot, though the refrigerator was empty. However, complimentary drinking water was available at the front desk, and a microwave was also accessible. The bathroom fan made a friction noise when operating, so I chose not to use it. Additionally, it was a self-circulating system rather than being connected to an exhaust line, which I found somewhat unexpected."
"Overall, the hotel is good; bright, clean, and relatively quiet. The location is also good. It's one of the better hotel options for tourists. I would consider staying here again next time; booking in advance will get you a better price."
"The room was clean and in good shape. My problem was we were not able to close the black out curtains and a bright street light shone in. The room had no view except for the air conditioning units. This disturbed our sleep all night. The food was good but a bit pricey. The service was good and the staff that we met were friendly. Over all I probably would stay here again, but ask for a better room.

"Trendy hotel, clean rooms! Great size TV and en-suite. No storage or fridge/safe/microwave/coffee in room. Reception on upper floor with bar (complimentary drink) and lounge with fab rooftop! Food served after 3pm was limited but tasty. Starbucks on ground floor."
"This is our favorite destination near Charleston! The property is well maintained. It has everything we need from pools, hot tub, fire pits and a gym. There is a fantastic restaurant on site called The Fish House. The Reel in bar is a fun place to grab a cocktail. What makes this place so special is the wonderful guest service. Thank you to the manager Ryan and Sophie for our beautiful room with a view. It was a perfect stay!"

Amazing
DDalton KernThe hotel is a quaint place in the heart of historic downtown Charleston. Wonderful breakfast! However, we forgot a bottle of wine we had purchased in the room and they failed to inform us even though we didn’t get our car from valet for several hours after checkout AND they identified us as the people that checked out when we picked it up. Sure, it was our fault that we forgot it but I expected a higher level of service from this hotel.
GGuest UserWe had a wonderful stay at Christmas time. The hotel was beautifully decorated. Check in was easy, we were offered a$20 upgrade for our room, which we accepted and we enjoyed our 3 nights in a suite- lovely! The courtyard was also decorated and the outdoor fireplace was always blazing. We liked having a glass of wine in the evening. We also loved “The Den” bar! The pizza was yummy! Such a cool experience- we will definitely stay here next time we are in Charleston!
RRamzi L.Spent one night at this location driving back from Florida to Virginia: . Well maintained and clean hotel. . The breakfast service was great: they even make waffle to order for you and many options to choose from. . Easy check-in & check-out. . Location is good: close to everything. . The room was clean but was missing some trash bags other than all was good. Will stay here again.
GGuest UserWhen we arrived at the hotel and checked in. We enquired about the breakfast which was included in the booking. We were suprised to find out that there wasn't actually a breakfast. You got this card, and every morning you could pick out one item out of their ”supermarket”. The ”supermarket” was basically a minifridge and freezer, and a couple of shelves. Here you could find little cups of icecream, frozen minipizza, water, cola, and things like crisps and m&m's. This is hardly a breakfast. And you could only take one item, not even a drink and a snack. We said that this was not what we expected when we made the booking with breakfast included.
The receptionist didn't even apologize just stated that the information on the website was old from 2021 and that they hadn't gotten around to changing it.
We decided on this hotel because the breakfast was included. It was a pretty expensive booking. With over 400 dollars per night you would expect at least and nice breakfast or apologies and compensation.
At the end we just took a bottle of water in the morning and had breakfast elsewhere.
GGuest UserMy hubby and I did a two night stay for a pre-Christmas celebration and shopping. We were greeted by the friendliest staff and our room was a large king suite with a beautiful view. Super clean. It was located next to the elevator which I thought would be a problem but turned out okay. Free parking and a 10 minute $10-13 Uber ride into the city. Breakfast was great! Consisted of oatmeal bar, scrambled eggs, breakfast meat (one day bacon the next day sausage) a variety of breads, a breakfast sandwich and juices and coffee. We would definitely stay again. The pic is the view from our rom.
GGuest UserGreat option for stay with your family, good price, clean, the breakfast include is good, the amenities are nice and the staff are very friendly and servicial
GGuest UserVery nice hotel. Middle of downtown so walking was the way to go. I would have liked to know that it was valet only, which I dont like, and the fact that it was going to cost me 98 bucks for the 2 days we were there...I might have chosen a different place. But overall it was nice. Big room, small tvs but we were out exploring, and you have full control over the AC. The hotel itself is the original Citadel which is really awesome staying in a piece of history.
