From valet to seamless check-in, they know what they’re doing and offered a Covid-safe and classy, fun experience. Location is steps away from Meeting St and all downtown bars and shops, but you don’t even have to leave the hotel to enjoy dinner or drinks in any of the popular spots built in. Valet and in-room bar are overpriced but the staff was great and for a premium, it’s worth it."

"This is our favorite destination near Charleston! The property is well maintained. It has everything we need from pools, hot tub, fire pits and a gym. There is a fantastic restaurant on site called The Fish House. The Reel in bar is a fun place to grab a cocktail.  What makes this  place so special is the wonderful guest service. Thank you to the manager Ryan and  Sophie for our beautiful room with a view. It was a perfect stay!"

"Very nice hotel. Middle of downtown so walking was the way to go. I would have liked to know that it was valet only, which I dont like, and the fact that it was going to cost me 98 bucks for the 2 days we were there...I might have chosen a different place. But overall it was nice. Big room, small tvs but we were out exploring, and you have full control over the AC. The hotel itself is the original Citadel which is really awesome staying in a piece of history."
