Hideaway on George

Very good hotel, health is a bit biased, if the room has a kitchen will be better, in general I am very satisfied with the hotel, breakfast is delicious, the room is also very good, it is recommended, look at the picture will know...
Centennial Inn on Bathurst

I needed a bed, close to LGH, that wasn't going to cost me too much. The Centennial was a good choice. Location is two blocks from the hospital. Room was clean, had good facilities and big enough for two people for a few days. Bed comfy and I slept soundly. WiFi good and free. Parking on site. Hotel has a very cosy, grill style restaurant and there's a pizzaria next door. Coles supermarket actiss the road. Excellent location for my needs. No air-conditioning and a quiet fridge, just perfect for sleeping soundly. My room fronted the main, 3 lane road into Launceston but the traffic was minimal to zero after 10pm on a Friday night. I slept with the window open all night and enjoyed the warm, Autumn breeze. Check in easy, friendly and informative. For the price, a top spot.
Areca Launceston

Not recommended if you have heavy baggage as theres no elevator (only 2 floors though). The place is beautiful as it’s on the top of a hill, but not so convenient if you’re on foot to sightseeing / do grocery so I’ll give it a 4. We didn’t need much service it’s mostly just DIY without much issue so I’ll give it a 5. The place is definitely clean so 5. Amenities would be 3 due to the stairs for heavy baggages (might not be an issue for everyone), also there’s no blind or door for the shower so the water would spill out to other areas in the washroom even if you are very cautious.
Adina Place Motel Apartments

I would like to give the reception staff Lisa and Karen 10 out of 10 for wonderful service. I was trying to get a bed for one night and rang the hotel as I'd booked on what I thought was their website - I'd booked the wrong night and couldn't change it. Lisa was the lady I spoke to and she very kindly sorted it for me in such a lovely manner. Then when I arrived Karen was on reception and the welcome was warm and friendly and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. Personality plus, what an asset! The room was on the small side but comfortable, spotless and had a fabulous view of the city. It is also within walking distance of two theatres, bars and restaurants. A genuine pleasure to stay here, thank you ladies.
Quality Hotel Colonial Launceston

Very ordinary hotel, similar to a motel, no service, no elevator, climbing a large suitcase to the third floor, exhausted, Launceston is very small, very quiet,

Lovely place to stay. Well located to be able to get around the city with a supermarket across the street and walking distance to city centre and beautiful parks. Absolutely no noise from the road, other guests or neighbourhood do was very peaceful. The Staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were immaculately clean and the most comfortable beds ensured a restful nights sleep. I had requested a ground floor apartment and walk in shower for my elderly mother who was staying with us and these were accommodated. I really can’t fault anything about this place other than it would be beneficial to have lighting above the mirror in the bathroom for applying makeup and shaving. Would be happy to stay here again and would definitely recommend.
