Charming little hotel at the outskirts of Libo Ancient Town. Conveniently located to discover the historic district by foot as well as for day-trips to Xiaoqikong and/or Maolan. The staff of the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful. A special thanks to Lu Xiuping. She not only organized drivers to Xiaoqikong, Maolan and our next stop in Xijiang, but even helped us find breakfast, lunch and dinner. After a long day she came up to our room to bring us fruit and make sure we weren't missing anything. We would give 6 stars to her if it was possible; it is rare to feel as welcomed. The train had just arrived at Libo Station. The hotel driver Xiao Ou had already picked us up and was waiting. He took the initiative to help us carry the suitcases and introduced local culture, food and attractions along the way. He was very considerate. As soon as we entered the hotel lobby, the beauty Xiao He and the handsome guy Xiao He at the front desk greeted us with smiles. After checking in, we upgraded the originally booked river-view king bed room to a river-view suite. I'm so happy! The room is spacious, bright, clean and fresh, and the bedding is warm and comfortable. The overall feeling is that the hotel service is warm and thoughtful, and the management is standardized. Although the hotel has been open for a long time, the management is excellent and the overall performance is commendable. The hotel has convenient transportation and is a 5-minute walk from Libo Ancient Town. Dining is very convenient and highly selective. What’s special to mention is that the day after check-in was my wife’s birthday. I received a birthday cake from the front desk beauty Xiao He on behalf of the hotel that night, which made me feel warm and happy! I went to the Raiders that I only knew once: take the through train to the West Gate at the high-speed rail station, and then call the hotel to pick it up. The location is a short walk (10 min) to food street. It's not as nice as the ancient town area but taxis are cheap and plentiful and it's a small time regardless. Comfortable mattress and good shower.

There is a diversion of individual customers and group customers. It takes about 45 minutes to drive from the hotel to the west gate of Xiaoqikong. Not too bad. It takes about five minutes to drive to the ancient town. The fly in the ointment is that the sound insulation is not so perfect. I heard children playing in the next room for two consecutive nights. Fortunately, the children went to bed around 11 o'clock. It would be better if the sound insulation can be more private.
