This is excellent chinese traditional hotel for people who want to see the top of view of Lijiang old town. The hotel is beautiful and the amenities are high quality. The hotel is located a little bit on the mountain closed to large water wheel the landmark of Lijiang oldtown. The breakfast we had was special noodle yunnan food which was different than normal buffet we had in other hotel. Mostly of hotel staff can speak english well and warmly welcome especially from Mr.Jimmy. I’m very impressed that the hotel helped us took our luggage up to the hotel when we had a Jade Dragon Snow one day tour and sent us to railway station after checking out. I will be returning guest in the future for sure. Thanks for the experience and make me feel like I’m in the chinese movie who feel and touch the environment in the past.

The top point of this place is the location and view from the room. The room is spacious with direct view over the Old Town. The staff especially Jimmy is super helpful.

Excellent location overlooking the entire old city. Very warm and welcoming, helpful team of staff. Very comfortable beds. Only minor thing that I would suggest to improve is to have a door in front of the bathroom.

Fully enjoyed the whole stay from train station pickup, well decorated rooms , fantastic views, excellent breakfast and responsive staff. We highly recommend this facility for anyone planning a trip to Lijiang. Thanks to all the staff for our wonderful vacation memories.

It is an excellent hotel. We liked it a lot. Xiao Li arranged everything for us nicely. Xiao Wang was wonderful as well. We really liked it a lot and will definitely stay there if we visit Lijiang again in future.

Lijiang Wenjinyuan, which was highly recommended by my good sister, made my trip to Lijiang full of surprises. It not only has traditional exquisite Chinese courtyards, but also many local ethnic elements of Lijiang. The Dongbawen wall lamps in the room are surprising. Of course, there are more thoughtful services. Xiaotian and Xiaoyang provided a lot of help in sharing local specialties and customized travel plans. You don’t need to think too much when you come to Lijiang. There are also Xiaoduan and Xiaohe on duty. The warm service is touching. In the busy urban life, I found a leisure time of my own when I came to Lijiang. Wenjinyuan, a place that makes people nostalgic, the key is that it is very film-producing. I will come back to Wenjinyuan next time.
