One of the best hostels I've ever stayed at for this price. It's very close to the ancient city. It has good hangout areas and the owner is very nice but he dosent speak english

The hotel accommodation experience is great, the room is spacious and bright, and the bedding is comfortable. The service is attentive and the staff is enthusiastic. Conveniently located close to attractions. I will choose here next time.

Location is great and it’s only one of the few hotels in the old town which aren’t overpriced that accommodate foreigners. With that being said, we called ahead of time to double check we would have no issues staying there. However, when we arrived we weren’t greeted very pleasantly. It seemed as though our arrival was a huge inconvenience and the receptionist had to “check” if we could stay, even though we had all of our documents in order and up to date. The room was dark and dingy, in serious need of repair and revamping. The velour bathroom curtain and windows curtains were offensively gross. It’s not that the room was unclean, it was just falling apart. The towel rail was hanging off the wall, the wall and the ceiling needed serious work, we had to duck and weave to get into our room before of a ceiling leak, and there were a lot of non-paying guests in our room, in the form of spiders. Due to the wooden structure, insects etc are to be expected and it wasn’t really an issue for us, but may be for others. I’d definitely search for alternatives before staying here again.

The Inn is nice located in the old town. The owner and staff are friendly and assist us everything from arranging a car transfer from Lijiang rail station to the old town gate with handcart to carry our luggage to the Inn because cars are not allowed in the old town. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. Their huge dogs are so cute...

I prefer quiet accommodation. The boss said that although it is very close to the bar street, it can be quiet in the bustle. I was a little worried at first, but after trying it out for one night, I really slept well, so I immediately booked an extra week👍👍👍 Go up more than ten steps to the observation deck, where you can have a panoramic view of the ancient city of Lijiang; go down a few steps and turn two corners, and then go down to the vicinity of Sifang Street. The location is actually very good. Living in the ancient city, it is difficult to carry luggage because most of the stone roads are there. Fortunately, the boss is young and strong and will help at the intersection, so you don’t have to worry too much👍😅

Everyone must be careful to prevent being deceived. In order to avoid more people being deceived, and for the healthy and positive development of Lijiang's tourism industry, and for those who are dedicated to service and work, I will feedback this matter to the relevant cultural and tourism depar**ents). When I came back to chat with her, I explained the process of the scam. She was also very angry and disgusted with this behavior. This behavior really seriously blocked the development of Lijiang's tourism industry. For those who have made efforts to serve guests with heart and enthusiasm, they are also very helpless. This morning, when we were about to leave Lijiang, Teacher Lu had just washed her hair and was wearing a headscarf to see us off (Lijiang Ancient Town is all slabs of stone, and suitcases are easy to break when pulled on the stone slabs, so we all carried suitcases when we came). She put the suitcases on her camping cart and took us to the car. (When the children went out to eat, they actually said to bring a portion for Grandma Lu). I won't list all the heartwarming actions. I hope that Teacher Lu's inn will be prosperous and get better and better!

The place is just walking distance to the Lijiang old town. And along the way there’s lots of stops for you to snap a picture. The room is clean and comfortable. The host was very friendly and helpful. They have help us to book our day trip to Yulongshan and have listed few places for us to visit too. Would definitely recommend to my fellow Malaysians to stay here.

The price-performance ratio is very high. I left in a hurry on the last day and found that a piece of luggage was left at the inn.
