This is not a 5 star hotel experience. Clearly the rooms need some modernisation. There is for example only fans and no temperature control air con. Our bedroom only had one bedside table. When we changed rooms things didn’t work and we had to get them fixed. However staff were very helpful. The bed was comfortable and there was a good sized wardrobe and shower. We had lounge access which was a much smaller area than we are used to and served a very limited food and beverage selection, however Oscar was a great host and did everything possible to make our experience better. We went to the gym but a lot of the equipment was faulty. It is limited but one treadmill out of the three had a non functioning ramp. All of the cross trainers were not working properly. We also had a meal in the restaurant which was average but again friendly staff. Thank you also to Clara who realised our experience had not been great.

Located in a safe and residential area. 20 minutes by taxi from the Mariflores area. The rooms are clean but in need of some refurbishment, particularly the bathroom. I gave a 5 star because of the service, I arrived early around 12.00 and I did not have to wait, I was also given a late checkout which was a plus. On both occasion Luis was helpful. When I arrived there was a gentleman at the door, I was expecting to get some assistance with the luggage but that did not happen. Apart from that the hotel is reasonably priced. Few minutes away there is a shopping mall with a selection of high street shops and few restaurant (nothing fancy!)

We visited the the Walwa SPA. The facilities were top notch ! My girlfriend treated me for a massage and then we both did the wet & dry saunas along with the jacuzzi. All three where very clean, the soft talcing music was great to relax, the jacuzzi included champagne and the changing rooms had everything we needed.

This Hotel was everything I expected an more!! Phenomenal customer service throughout the entire stay, and everyone was so accommodating to any need I may have or concern. The rooms were spotless!! And I felt their safety measures for cleanliness was 10 out of 10! Antonio was so helpful throughout the stay! For my first time staying in Lima, they made it such a pleasure. This is a great place to stay if, like us, you were using Lima as a jumping off point to get to different places in Peru. It is just outside the airport (and across several insanely crazy roads so I do NOT suggest that you walk there!) and there is a free shuttle that runs every 10-15 minutes. Once you get out of baggage claim, go to the lien of desks for taxis, transportations and go to Direct Taxi 9blue sign) and let them know you need the Holiday Inn shuttle. Someone will take you outside (past all the freelance taxi drivers vying for your attention) to the place where the shuttle comes. (if you ask a freelance taxi driver for the free shuttle, don't be surprised if they see there is not one- WRONG.) The hotel is quite comfortable (and quite busy!) and its restaurant is open 24/7. I had the tuna rice bowl (I know- taking a chance) and it was excellent. My sister's pizza was fair and my brother in law does NOT recommend the hamburger- but hey, Holiday Inn is not a place you think of for haute cuisine. The staff is very, very friendly and helpful; check in takes a bit longer than you might expect but I think that is because the peruvian government requires more than the usual number of forms at this place- not entirely sure. The rooms are spacious (ask for 2 key cards as one must be inserted into the slot just inside the door to activate the electricity so if you are staying with someone who wants to stay in the room while you go down to grab a bite or a beverage, you will need to leave a least one key for the remaining person to not be left utterly in the dark). It was comfortable, very convenient, and quite reasonably priced. To get into town, they will call a registered taxi 9or you can Uber) and it will run about $15-20 USD. would definitely stay here again if our itinerary was anything like ours which was ”Lima to Iquitos to Lima to Cusco to Lima to home!”

The price/performance ratio of the hotel is not bad, the breakfast is quite satisfactory, and there is no problem to eat for two days. The room size also matches the price. The hotel is in the embassy area, very quiet at night. If you want to eat Chinese food, you still have to take a taxi and go out to eat. Several Chinese food nearby are all improved versions.

This is a nice hotel in heart of Lima. The staff at reception and breakfast were very friendly. Check in and check out was easy. The rooms were quite large, clean and beds comfortable. I had a corner room so I had large windows from ceiling to the floor with great views of the city in two directions. The breakfast had a good choice of hot and cold food items. They even made me a couple of eggs cooked the way I like them. I would re-book at this IHG hotel.

I couldn't have picked a better place to stay. All my friends booked different hostels all over Miraflores but we've made this the meeting point, as it was walking distance to pretty much anything and everything. The vibes were awesome. The common areas were spacious and very clean. I did a walking tour to Barranco with one of their guides, I believe it was with Juan and that was very cool. The staff in the bar/breakfast area could be a little better. Service was very delayed and they naver had change when you wanted to tip them. I had the private room with a private bathroom and it was super clean and cozy! I was so happy it was on the 6th floor, gave me a little bit of privacy. Overall great experience and highly recommend Selina!

The hotel was excellent for the price we paid, and for the purpose that was just to spend the night, because we were in a long connection, I found the hotel excellent! The service was excellent, the transfer to the airport also! The room was very clean and spacious and the bathroom too! I just thought it was bad not to have a lift, we stayed on the third floor and it was pulled up the stairs with a baby on the neck! But out of that I thought it was great!

This property was nice. It was very clean. It really only has the basics in the room. No fridge or microwave, 2 bath towels and a bath mat, minimal shampoo/soap. The breakfast was actually pretty good. However, there was no ”early bird” breakfast. Anything earlier than 6am was a box breakfast which was horrible. We experienced it twice. Fruit and a cheap ham and cheese sandwich on white bread. I think there was 1 piece of ham and 1 piece of cheese. For a nice hotel, they could have done much better than that!!

The rooms and beds are very comfortable and the hotel is in an excellent location in central Lima very close to the cathedral and main square (5 min walk). Breakfast is basic but adequate. Some noise from the road, but it’s busy city so not surprising. Staff were always friendly and helpful. Always felt safe there. I would happily stay there again.

Reservé 2 habitaciones standard para año nuevo 2024, una con cama matrimonial para mi hijo y para mí, y la otra con 2 camas. Y al momento de la reserva especifiqué que necesitaba que estén una al lado de la otra, o exactamente al frente. Cuando hice check in, fuimos a las habitaciones y la mía era cama doble y encima no estaban al frente, felizmente la señora de recepción pudo solucionar pero estuvimos bastante rato esperando. Luego, a las 5y30pm aprox llamo a Room Service para pedir la cena de mi hijo, me contesta un chico y me toma el pedido. Pasa 1 HORA, llamo para saber cuánto más iba a demorar y un señor de restaurante de muy mala manera me dice que no tiene ningún pedido y que no era su problema porque él acababa de entrar a turno. Me pareció una pésima atención y pésima forma de resolver un problema. Obviamente tuve que volver a hacer el pedido y esperar más, pero dejó mucho que desear la respuesta de su personal del restaurante e hizo que me amargue el momento. Finalmente, en recepción a la hora del check in preguntamos si Room Service atendería normal hasta las 11pm, nos dijo que sí. Cuando nos fueron a dejar la comida de mi hijo, volví a preguntar al mozo y me dijo que ya no tomaban pedidos porque estaban con la cena buffet. Entonces nos iban a dejar sin cena a mi familia y a mí, ya que al estar con un niño pequeño él ya iba a dormir y yo no iba a poder salir al restaurante. Después de insistir, accedió a tomarnos el pedido pero tenía que ser en ese momento (siendo 7pm, comida llegó 7y20) y lamentablemente tuve que cenar comida fría ya que recién pude hacerlo después de dormir a mi hijo a las 8y30pm aprox. Realmente no volvería al hotel por tener tantas malas experiencias en 1 solo día de estadía.

The hotel itself is not 7 stars, but it is the people who work there who makes it such a nice place. Didn’t have a bad experience here, my wife and I happened to be in Peru for a funeral and I had a health issue due to the emotional stress. Santiago from the reception was prompt to call the ambulance and they could fix the situation. Also when friends and family came to visit, I befriended waiter Carlos Abanto, very good guy, he deserves all the compliments, super professional. Because of people like them I plan to come back. Also Zarai Chileno (waitress) was nice and Jose the guy who used to clean my room. With this staff and location I assure you a lot of returning business and many good years to come. Casa Andina earned a customer for life. Since the start they treated us and my family amazing. As we arrived early Tuesday morning. They were able to provide early checkin. They upgraded our room complimentary as we were the bridal couple and this was so useful for entertaining, wedding photos, and getting ready. The complementary morning breakfast buffet is amazing. Useful tip - I found out you can ask for eggs made different and ask for BACON :) The front desk was so helpful all week. They helped us to make our wedding. Also helped with covid test (5 star service - got the PCR test within the same day and they came to the hotel) Overall it was a 5 star experience and my wife and family loved the stay! It was all the little things. Thanks again for everything and sadly now I have to check out but will be back soon.

Stayed for 3 nights while visiting Lima. The hotel is very well located, clean, quiet and modern with very comfortable beds. Staff was mainly friendly and helpful. Included breakfast is served on top floor area and is quite extensive, including cold and hot selections. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others. One quibble- room door does not have eye or latch to check who is knocking. But we certainly felt very safe there.

Modern hotel but badly designed. Entrance is down several steps with a lift for luggage which many people struggle to operate. Only given one room key between 2 people, which also operates the lift and the electric in the room. Although kettle is in the room only 1 cup and 1 sachet of coffee between 2 people. Breakfast is poor but evening meal no choice of food only 1 meal offered which was so bad we didn't eat. Complained to the reception who thought it was funny and laughed at us.

There is no KFC nearby, which is a bit embarrassing. In addition, local restaurants in Lima are basically open at 11/12 noon, and breakfast can only be solved at the hotel early in the morning. Reminder: The traffic jam in Lima is very serious! ! ! If you go to the airport, please reserve at least 4-5 hours in advance to avoid missed flights👿

Rooms clean, neighborhood safe, and the service was perfect. Staff found a way to help me at every turn. They had a bike for me to use which was great..lots of good bike paths near the ocean. They had a metro card for me to use. They arranged taxis and exchanged money of They had enough. One thing to know is the hotel.is not actually in the active area so if you want to walk around you need to take a cab or micro. Micros are wonderful. They pass in front of the hotel every minute or 2 and only cost a sole. They almost all go to kennedy park- the centre of action, arriving at kenedy within about 5 minutes. Breakfast was good, but remember to press the button on the table for service otherwise they may nit notice you. It took me a couple days to figure that out. Button method works perfect.

This is not a 5 star hotel experience. Clearly the rooms need some modernisation. There is for example only fans and no temperature control air con. Our bedroom only had one bedside table. When we changed rooms things didn’t work and we had to get them fixed. However staff were very helpful. The bed was comfortable and there was a good sized wardrobe and shower. We had lounge access which was a much smaller area than we are used to and served a very limited food and beverage selection, however Oscar was a great host and did everything possible to make our experience better. We went to the gym but a lot of the equipment was faulty. It is limited but one treadmill out of the three had a non functioning ramp. All of the cross trainers were not working properly. We also had a meal in the restaurant which was average but again friendly staff. Thank you also to Clara who realised our experience had not been great.
