You really can't beat the location of this hotel. Right at the top of the hill with the perfect view of the Cathedral. Do bear in mind that the bells chime every 15 minutes but they stop at 11pm and start again at 7am! Its a slightly odd hotel - quite dated in some ways, and the bar and restaurant never seemed to be open. Having said that there are plenty of lovely restaurants and pubs a stone's throw away before you have to think about tackling ”Steep Hill”. Breakfast, however, was lovely!

Functional Premier Inn with standardised plus and minus points. On the plus side, great location - within 5 min walk of town centre and bus station, 15 min walk to Cathedral and rail station. Parking next door at £6.80 a day. Breakfast ok. On negative side, rooms starting to look shabby and as usual for PI, machine issued key cards never work - queue at reception to pick up new keys was huge at 4pm. Over priced for standard rooms.

I am an ancient and reasonably crusty retired Army officer. My cum and I visited Duke William for a meal. We walked in at 7 o'clock (1900hrs in real time) and It was heaving! Think pre-Covid rush-hour Underground train. A polite young man (Josh) pointed us (combined age 170) in the right direction. The restaurant was fully booked, and thus we had to return to Josh to order our food. The meal was served remarkably promptly by a charming young lady (Lisa) and was jolly good ('pub grub') in every respect - except: the portions were far too large! When we left, about 2100hrs, the place seemed even fuller, with a mix of all ages present. In addition to the great crowd there was an eclectic selection of well-behaved dogs. I cannot comment of cost, as neither of us had visited a pub since before the wretched Covid. Well done all concerned at 'Duke William', and thanks.

We decided to visit Lincoln for our wedding anniversary as its somewhere we both love. We arrived on Friday evening, and were greeted by Donna, (the pub was very busy as it was England/Scotland game) but she personally showed us to our room explained everything and answered any questions for us, she even reserved us a table for later that evening after we'd wondered down the the marina for food. We had a drink in a back room away from the football. Despite the fact that the pubs was busy you really cannot hear it from your room, which was lovely and cosy with a comfy bed, tea and coffee were provided for the morning. I can honestly say we had a great stay and we will definitely be staying again.

Good hotel in an excellent position, on the Bradford Wharf. Area has undergone renovation, and has lots of restaurants and bars. We would particularly recommend the Barge Inn. Staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful, and although the hotel is large, it still kept a cosy feel. Clean and comfortable.

The surrounding environment is very good, by the river, very close to Lincoln Cathedral, close to Lincoln Railway Station, opposite Lincoln University, the overall location is good, the next time you come to Lincoln will choose here, eat and drink on the side The taste is also very good, it is more expensive than domestic

This was the first time we had used a self service hotel, we were impressed with the facilities, it had a communal kitchen and lounge the bedroom was comfortable and clean, we had a fridge which had the continental breakfast in and on (which you were asked to eat in the kitchen). If and when we go to Lincoln again this hotel will be looked at first.

We booked 2 rooms on a Sunday of the bank holiday to catch up with family in Lincoln. It could have been a disaster with the steam punk festival being held the same weekend and making the city super busy however, the hotel team were great in giving me information in advance such as regarding parking. We received a warm welcome from James on arrival, great service from the lady at the bar when we arrived back after a night in the town centre, and there was a good selection of breakfast food for all, including sausages cooked for our vegetarian son. Thank you for a great stay team!
