I was with my mother 3 nights. The attention of the boy who I'm sorry I don't remember his name was wonderful, very attentive and always with a smile. It is true that it is an old house and that the bathrooms are shared, but the truth is that it is very well located and, as I say, the attention of 10. We left very happy :)

The welcome was nice and the owner really personable. The location was great too, as was the price. But what was less good? - You could only get to the accommodation by ringing the bell. So you heard the bell constantly (my room was right next to the entrance) - the front door slammed shut often, which made it loud - the room was very worn, the furnishings were partly badly broken. The light on the ceiling only flickered for about 15 minutes before it really came on. There was dirt in the drawers, there was an empty drink packet in the fridge from one of the previous guests. There was some powder on the bedside table. There was something like a hair tie on one handle of the nightstand slider and it looked like it had blood on it. So everything is a bit disgusting. - The bed itself was very clean and there was nothing to complain about. I was only there to sleep. - The shared bathrooms were cleaned more often, but mostly only on the floor. The condition was really bad. A bathroom could not be locked, in another the tub was rusty, the shower head bracket was broken, the mirrors were all extremely dirty. I felt that the condition led to the other guests being extremely misbehaving and leaving everything dirty. Conclusion: if you want to live in a top location in Lisbon for little money, you can stay there. But it's not comfortable. But I found it ok to sleep alone. Based on the very good other reviews, I would have expected something much better.
