The hotel is literally across the road from Lime Street station so is very conveniently located, about 1 mins walk. The room I stayed in was exceptionally hot, I requested a fan which made little difference as there were no plug sockets next to the bed so it was too far away to impact. The air con is linked to outside temperature so did not bring the room temp down. Was quite noisy due to the location with general noise and traffic noise which could be heard until the early hours. Food was good but over priced, and not much fresh fruit at breakfast. Gym was spacious, but only had 1 running machine. The warmness of the rooms would put me off staying again. Was a good sized hotel with fast efficient lifts and nice staff.

First of all the location is fantastic, looks vintage on the appearance. We also got the early check in when our room is available. However, the cleanliness for the room is awful, and the painting in the room is faded away. bedsheet is very old.

Great location, well furnished apartment. Would recommend and use again for a shopping trip or night out to Liverpool. Great value vs others in the area.
Marked facilities low as it's an apartment so no on site facilities, however, parking was really easy and perfectly located and the apartment was fully kitted out.
The staff on site were really friendly and helpful.

The pictures and texts don't match. The classic double room in the picture has a big window. When I arrived at the hotel, I was told that the classic double room is on the underground first floor, with only a small dark window. I went to the hotel's official website to confirm again that the classic double room is indeed on the underground first floor. The picture is obviously misleading.
If the picture is correct, I can see that it is a very small window. I can completely choose not to choose it and pay a little more for a better one.
And because it is a third party pre-paid order, I can't go to the hotel to make up the price difference and upgrade. It's really speechless🙄

Great hotel in an excellent location behind lime Street station. Staff on check-in were extremely helpful and friendly as were all the other staff members. Rooms are clean and the beds comfortable, the shower was powerful and hot and the bath big. English Breakfast was delicious although not the biggest buffet the quality was amazing .The room could do with a fridge but aside from that everything was perfect for us and we will definitely be back again

Only single upside is location, rest is awful. There's a difference between low-cost service and cheap service, and until easyHotel figures the difference there would be a loss in the customer base. Room size is small beyond reasonable with no place to walk. Timed AC that you can't control fan speed on and times off automatically. I paid for the night to use service not for you to force me when to switch off my AC or how much air gets into the room to make it actually suffocating. Will be avoiding for other affordable services if I can next time.

Clean hotel and accessible to centre. If you’re going to book for Rooftop make sure it’s suite room as the double room wasn’t that nice view in the balcony. Friendly staff in the breakfast area and to the receptionist who assist us 10th July 2024 (Wednesday) at 15:00 he’s approachable and accommodating I forgot his name he has tattoo. But a bit disappointed. Only continental breakfast you can have it if you’re in a hurry. But for hot breakfast you need to order in the menu and that’s the time they prepare it and serve for you I suggest it’s better everything is ready and hotel guest will just get it by themselves. Second one the receptionist who’s on shift at 11th July 2024 at 12:30 in the afternoon wasn’t that nice. it’s 2 ladies receptionist I pass the key on her and she just said thank you. The other lady just look at us without saying Hello. Front-desk receptionist should be accommodating. not even bother to ask us how’s our stay which should be standard to all Hotel service staff. Receptionist are the front one who promote your Business it’s just my opinion Halyard so I think it’s better to inform them.

Aside from a couple of dirty chocolate bottle caps on the bed and a few other things left around the room, including the security safe not functioning due to not having been reset since the last guest stayed, it was good.
The only issue with the things detailed above is that it means that the bed wasn't cleaned properly at all and that I was unable to leave valuables in the room.
The two boys at reception went above and beyond with amenities and were happy to just pass us coffees and waters at no charge. My friend was also unwell and appreciated this greatly.
It would've been a 5/5 review had the bed been cleaner and the safe worked. Sadly it was confusing to find the room as well as exit the hotel, as the way we came in had a ”no entry” sign placed on the door shortly thereafter, despite everyone continuing to use it as the only possible way to access the elevator. Our floor was also still under construction.

Outstanding
GGuest UserLovely hotel, great service and got a great deal last minute via Trip. Would highly recommend
JjS-The room was spacious and modernly designed. I was pleasantly surprised by the amenities provided, including a refrigerator, slippers, a coffee machine, and conveniently located power sockets behind the beds.
However, the bathroom design was quite impractical. The shower temperature fluctuated between hot and cold, likely due to low water pressure since we stayed on the 15th floor (the top floor). The sink and hangers also seemed poorly thought out, as if the designer hadn’t tested them after installation. Only one tissue was found inside the tissue box, and the air conditioning was difficult to adjust for proper ventilation.
GGuest UserHighly disappointed as I booked two nights for my mom and her husband who were visiting the UK for the very first time. My mom is the biggest Beatles fan and I was so excited to book this hotel for her. When I booked, I asked for the hotel to make sure to give her a good view on a high floor not knowing there are only 5 floors. I’ve attached a pic of the literally trashy view she had. Now, if this view is the only option on the 5th floor, then an email should have been sent for better views on lower floors. because I did ask for a high floor not knowing what the hotel is like. No wonder the pictures of the hotel and the rooms when booking are not clear.
This hotel is beautiful from the outside but unfortunately the inside is just a regular old hotel with pics of the Beatles scattered around.
If this isn’t bad enough, one of the days they left the hotel without taking a shower because there was no hot water and no warning of it. My mom was polite and kind and told me she had a good time, but that’s only because the hotel is in a good location.
Parking was a headache as there was no clear direction and she was not told about the fee prior to. Overall, a very disappointing experience.
There is a lot of room for improvement here.
GGuest UserThe hotel is so clean and nice . Love the lay out of the room . It’s so spacious. The staff are friendly and accommodating. It was a hassle free stay . We would definitely come back again .
GGuest UserCity Studios, Rodney Street, is an excellent location in Liverpool - easily accessible for cultural and city attractions. The system for gaining access to the property worked well, in that the access codes came in good time and were fairly easy to use. The studio was lovely and warm, comfortable and clean, with good kitchen facilities. The only thing wrong was that the shower didn't work, although there was plenty of hot water. As we were only staying one night, we didn't ask for help with this, as we only found out quite late in the evening. If we'd been staying longer, we would have contacted the help number, and I'm sure something would have been done about it. We would use this venue again.
GGuest UserI stayed in the standard room for 5d/4n and I was very satisfied overall. I moved to a private room from the dorms and I think it was a very good choice. I enjoyed the desk and private bathroom and the bed was very comfortable. I was also happy that they provide a small heater for colder nights. Midway through my stay, I finally found the kitchen downstairs and used it for heating up very small minor things . I appreciated the cleaning staff and their effort in keeping the kitchen clean. It is hard to do with a building full of people! 🙂 well down! Check out was super fast and no-fuss. Thanks for keeping things in tip top shape!
LLeeExcellent apartment, clean and everything we could need. Stayed here with my son for a dad and lad city break. Location is perfect. Very close to the centre. Would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend to others.
LLucky TreeWas amazing and spacious, looked exactly like the photos and was in a great location. The price was amazing for just me and my two friends. Hens and stags alot of people would fit into these rooms
VVadim ZahharovPlace was exactly as advertised. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Definitely worth staying if your trip is short.
As for downsides, hostel has limited number of bathrooms and showers - this can cause issues if you have to leave quickly. The ventilation in rooms is basically non-existent, and rooms house up to 10 people, so I’ll leave the air quality to your imagination. Sound isolation is not great, so if somebody has a good time in the kitchen you’ll going to hear that. Bring earplugs if you are light sleeper. Cleanliness is subjective, I’m not that picky, but having crumbs in my bed was disconcerting. Some sinks have filters with hair in them. Haven’t seen anything that would be actually harmful like mold or hygiene products, so that is good.
Location is good. Liverpool is not that big and you’ll get to city centre in under an hour even with most leisurely pace. Do visit the cathedral on your way there. I haven’t seen any shops in immediate vicinity though, but I didn’t need them, so maybe you find some if you look. Bus stop for airport is fairly close, so that is a plus as well.
Overall, this is a hostel. You can sleep there, store your stuff and maybe have a chat with interesting people. Price is fair for experience.
