Very pleasant reception. No welcome drink offered, as others have mentioned. The room had been decorated with balloons and petals which was a lovely touch. It was an anniversary and we even received cake! The room on the 6th floor (607) was very clean. Restricted view, a random curtain that opened onto a wall? The vestibule area is very cramped, very few places to store your things. I’d certainly consider upgrading if you’re there more than a couple of nights. Great beds. We spotted the pillow menu and rang for a couple and were informed they didn’t have any of the options available. Hmm Rain shower is great. Climate control is a bit annoying. Turns off if the pir doesn’t detect you. Staff setting it at 25degrees Celsius on hot days is a bit inconsiderate. Lounge access is a good concept. Breakfast is plentiful but very chaotic on weekends. I’m not sure what they do to their bacon for it to be served clumped together in a trough and dry, but everything else was good and the omelette station a delicious treat. Happy hour is fun. It’s a relaxing spot outside of breakfast service and well stocked with soft drinks, beers and basic snacks throughout the day. Staff are friendly, unobtrusive and service on the whole is faultless. It’s worth upgrading if you’re staying more than a night in London.

What a wonderful few days at Meliá White House! The staff are fantastic, with nothing being too much, Monica and Troy at breakfast in the Level were brilliant with helping get my coffee made to my slightly excessive demands! The room was brilliant, exceptionally clean and well maintained. The requests for extra towels and an iron were responded to quickly. While most ‘chain’ hotels in London feel impersonal and the same, the White House feels like its own hotel, but knowing it will have the standard you expect from a Meliá hotel. If you can book a Level room as the lounge is excellent and breakfast was brilliant. Can’t recommend the hotel enough!

Have stayed here before and loved it so much I came back with my Gf’s to celebrate a hen. We had the best time, the service is second to none, the facilities are top notch, a great little gem in London and a stones throw away from the station. The breakfast and lounge was also exceptional and Nada was a great host. I hope to be back again soon.

Amazing service and attention! The food and variety of breakfasts was world class! The fine selection of ala carte was quick and delicious. I also enjoyed the touch of Mediterranean ingredients and rececepies. Great service from Ebru and Juan who were our hostesses and did a great job!

We stayed here for 2 nights and could not recommend the hotel enough. Everything about the hotel was of a very high standard. It’s exceptionally clean. The rooms are large and you have all the things you would expect like hairdryer, tea, coffee and toiletries. The brand the hotel uses is Ritual.. very nice. The food is delicious! Upon arrival We first had a few Tapas and Prosecco which was a welcome treat for us. The next morning we also ate in the Level area and the breakfast was probably one of the best we had ever tasted. Whoever the chef is please be aware they are providing quality food. The staff were all so welcoming, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The location of the hotel is perfect for the tube, walking to Oxford street, Camden Market and enjoying the green space of Regent’s Park. We cannot wait to return.

Rooms ok but ordered room service and standard of food poor at excessive prices. Caesar salad lettuce abd plain chicken for ridiculous price. Then didn't take payment and calling and chapping door at 11.30pm for payment- why not ask on delivery... I had gone to bed! Arggggh
