Very old and historic location. Rooms are large and modern but still with historic touch.
Some rooms are in higher floors without elevator so if you can't climb, make sure to request rooms on the ground floor

Have you ever wanted to stay in a castle? That goal is within reach with a stay at Schloss Lubbenau!! Featuring spacious rooms and scenic grounds, this location has a luxurious feel and delicious dining. Be aware, this is not really a tourist destination (more a local German draw) so language can be a barrier, but this spot is so rewarding for those up for the challenge.

A short vacation in a castle (even if 'just' in the stables) is something special. Nice, quiet location and yet only a few minutes into the city.
Criticism: The boat trip offered by the hotel is more than twice as expensive as at the port.

Wir hatten für eine Nacht dort gebucht, weil unsere Kinder uns einen Lichterabend im Spreewald geschenkt hatten. Das Hotel ist sehr gut aber doch etwas preisintensiv für das gebotene Zimmer. Service war sehr gut und Restaurant absolut top. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Der Lichterabend war auch sehr schön, aber die Organisation war etwas sehr dürftig.

Unser Aufenthalt im Hotel Schloss Lübbenau hat uns überrascht und begeistert. Zimmer schön, Wellness gepflegt und großzügig im herrlichen Schlosskeller, Restaurantessen hervorragend und die Hotelbar äußerst geschmackvoll und groß, dazu ein sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal und eine tolle Fahrradgarage in der Nähe des Parkplatzes. Und wer ein Faible für schöne und farbenfrohe Fliesen wahrscheinlich aus Portugal hat, kommt auch voll auf seine Kosten. Mit so vielen sehr sehr positiven Aspekten hatten wir schlicht nicht gerechnet. Wir können einen Besuch des schönen Spreewaldes mit einer Übernachtung im Schloss wärmstens empfehlen.
