Grand Lisboa Palace Macau Reviews

This was my first time in Macau, and I blindly chose Grand Lisboa Palace. We stayed for two nights, and it offered great value for money – truly an amazing experience! The hotel is relatively new. Our room was spacious and airy, and the bedding was so soft and comfortable that I slept like a log until I woke up naturally. We specifically booked a room with a sofa bed, and the hotel thoughtfully made it up for our child. This gave each of us a separate space, allowing for quiet relaxation without disturbing each other – exactly the kind of laid-back vibe a vacation should have! The garden on the 3rd floor of the hotel is absolutely stunning; every photo we took turned out beautifully! All the drinks and snacks in the mini-bar were complimentary, which was a fantastic bonus. Although the location isn't in the city center, its advantage lies in being quiet and less crowded, free from the hustle and bustle of downtown. It perfectly captures a resort-like island vacation atmosphere, making it ideal for families with kids. Wynn Palace is just a 10-minute walk away, which was super convenient for exploring its gardens. Downstairs, there's a huge variety of food options, so we never had to worry about meals. Overall, it was clean, comfortable, hassle-free, and relaxing. For families without a strong shopping agenda and who are primarily looking for a laid-back getaway with kids, you absolutely can't go wrong with this place – highly recommended! Five out of five stars!

A very pleasant experience! Crossing the border at Zhuhai Hengqin was seamless. There was a direct shuttle to The Londoner Macao just a few minutes' drive away. The hotel room was clean and comfortable. As a guest, taking the shuttle gave us VIP access, so we didn't have to queue with other tourists. Breakfast was plentiful, and the hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful; they gave clear directions whenever we asked for assistance with routes.

The room was incredibly spacious, the biggest I've ever stayed in. The service was also absolutely perfect. Highly recommended! I'll definitely be back next time. It's also super convenient to get around by car! The breakfast was fantastic and delicious.

The toilet was sticky and very dirty. I had emailed in advance asking for child amenities since we had a kid, but nothing was provided. I had to call and request them last minute. The hotel alarm kept going off in the middle of the night, which really disturbed our sleep and made it impossible to rest. Very poor experience.

Traveling with two kids, we were given a sofa bed which made for a very comfortable stay. The buffet breakfast at Mountain was pretty good too. Unfortunately, it rained every day we were there, so we didn't get to visit the garden. The service was excellent; the mini-bar was complimentary on the first day, and they provided plenty of water during daily housekeeping. It's super close to the airport, less than a 10-minute taxi ride. However, you can't get the free milk tea at the casino unless you have reward points. The location is a bit out of the way. I feel staying at Studio City, The Londoner, or The Parisian would be more convenient.

This was my first time staying at Grand Lisboa Palace, and honestly, the location isn't out of the way at all; it's quite convenient for getting around. Compared to hotels filled with tour groups, the experience here was much better, and the service was noticeably superior too. I was really satisfied with both the room facilities and the service.

Had a really great experience at Grand Lisboa Palace. The front desk staff were warm and professional, making the check-in process efficient and thoughtful. A heads-up though: while official check-in is after 3 PM, if there's a vacant room, you can check in earlier. I booked a 'Round View' room, which was spacious and elegant. The floor-to-ceiling windows offered a direct view of the Green Oasis Garden, perfect for European-style photos. The hotel has its own duty-free shop, and there are many shopping malls nearby, making shopping super convenient. Overall, the service and experience were excellent.

Whenever I visit Macau, Grand Lisboa Palace Hotel is my top choice. The rooms are spacious, the service is thoughtful, and the facilities are well-maintained. Both the garden view and city view rooms are absolutely stunning. The swimming pool is a joyful playground for children. I love taking countless photos with different backdrops in the Secret Garden, and the buffet is incredibly rich and varied, though it would be even better if they introduced some new dishes.

The hotel shuttle service was very convenient, and the garden views were picturesque – great for photos. The room itself was clean and spacious, and the hotel breakfast offered a wide variety of options. However, the soundproofing in the room wasn't great; I could constantly hear noise from the corridor.

Facilities: Not as good as I imagined. The showerhead works a bit differently, so it's best to try it out before showering. If you can't switch the spray mode, it's probably best to ask room service to avoid a bad showering experience, haha! 😄 Hygiene: There was some limescale residue in the crevices of the countertop faucet, which wasn't quite up to expectations in terms of detail. Environment: Good. Service: Both room service and front desk service were decent. However, the hotel's free shuttle bus wasn't as convenient as I'd hoped. Especially for the shuttles to various attractions, the hotel's 'priority boarding' benefit wasn't very clear, and it felt quite chaotic, which made for a poor experience (though it might have been due to the large crowds during the Chinese New Year holiday 😯).

The location is a bit inconvenient compared to the hotels on Cotai Strip. The architecture looks European from the outside, but I don't find it particularly exquisite. The interior decor is relatively new, which is a plus, but the taste is… well, questionable. The gym is quite good, and the pool is also very nice and beautiful. The room furnishings aren't very appealing; many people have already mentioned those two black cabinets. The gray patterned tiles in the bathroom look quite low-end. I checked in on the seventh day of the Lunar New Year for 3700 a night. For that price, I can only say I won't be considering this hotel again.

Ambiance: Unbeatable, garden views everywhere. But the hallways are incredibly long. Service: Genuinely terrible. I was trying to extend my check-out time, and they just couldn't figure it out. Our room was also super far from the elevator. We were in a hurry to get into our room because our key card had expired, but these few East Asian guys were just leisurely taking their sweet time coming up. It was infuriating to watch.

The room was spacious, and the service was excellent. They proactively offered children's toiletries and even set up the sofa bed. A car was provided, which made getting around for dining and shopping very convenient. The buffet had a wide selection, and the rooftop garden was very photogenic. The price was adjusted before check-in, and customer service helped refund the difference.
