Amazing Stay at this hotel. Awesome staff great installations and rooms. The food is great. 100% recomendable for some peaceful days.

Good to stay with family

a place for natures lovers is what I would describe it as. Located at an offbeat located but widely spread , its a huge hotel. Lot of activities for nature lovers and located bang on beach. The food is good. However they should have. more variety for Indians. Offering combo meals as midnight snack is also suggested. There is no other sightseeing location nearby so make sure you visit this place only and only to unwind and relax. I would suggest taking an MAP plan as being a luxury hotel the rates are on a higher side for Ala carte.

We enjoyed our 4 days! Setting was lovely, nice big gardens, gorgeous vast white sandy beach, v well planted areas. Amazing butterfly garden and very interesting kitchen garden. Lots and lots of birds. We stayed in the three wonderful deluxe pool villas. V spacious. Huge pools, outdoor showers etc. Really good. Main pool was large but we never sat there as we had our own pools. The one day we did try there were no empty Sun loungers by mid morning. Food was consistently good. We ate well and good value, too. Service in all restaurants was very mixed. ***y staff untrained. Not much of a smile from most. Clearly just a job. Somewhat efficient usually but nothing more. Elsewhere in Kerala we met so ***y warm and friendly people, so it is certainly not a cultural point. The hotel was crying out for a decent bar. Cocktails were at best very average, tasted very watery and at the same price as a high end London cocktail bar! Good activities on offer. The owl watching was terrific and the guy who led it was so friendly and knowledgeable. Archery was excellent too. All free of charge. Check in was excellent, check out was very poor and left a bit of a sour taste. Shame. Overall I would recommend, but I do think ***y of the other ratings are a bit inflated.

Fantastic place - our second time at Marari already, definitely want to come back again. Very friendly staff, beatiful resort - designed like a traditional Indian village, organic and eco-friendly approach, great facilities, delicious food, amazing activities - do try out the owl & bird walk tour with Shibhu!

This resort is probably one of the best resorts that we have stayed at during all our travels, not the most luxurious but it was definitely one of the most relaxing. We enjoyed just walking around, swimming, and hanging out at the beach. They have 3 restaurants that serve food and all close at 10pm. Breakfast was good with a lot of locally sourced ingredients, same menu every day for the most part. We ate all our dinners at the beach shack which had nice ambience and fresh air. Of note, they do not do room service but you can get your food to go (Take away). The pool is big and made up of saline water. The beach is only a 3 to 5-minute walk depending on where your villa is. They have towels and water readily available near the beach as well as beach beds, a security guard and lifeguard (Super safe). The staff were always smiling and very knowledgeable of the property (36 acres). Finally, kudos to this amazing team for the eco-friendly way of doing operations, everything about this place is just about nature and appreciating it. Highly highly highly recommend and we would definitely stay here again. My 8-year-old daughter did not want to leave! If you are debating if this is worth the price, just go for it! It is definitely worth it! One thing I would want to request from the property is to consider keeping the pool open a little later for night swimming.

I was lucky enough to upgrade twice in my short visit. Realising after my last resort that having a pool right outside your door was essential in the India heat, I asked at reception if they could upgrade me from a standard garden villa to one with a pool. They only had a few nights available on one pool villa, and then my final night had to be in the deluxe garden villa. What a great move by me, of course I had to pay the villa cost differences. I recommend this resort for great food and service. Both villas were well appointed and had mini bar, and I used their laundry service, my clothes washed and pressed to perfection. All in all, I had a great stay at this resort, in the process of booking my next holiday in India

The Marari Beach Hotel was lovely, from the time of arrival to the departure. Quick highlights from the welcoming reception with the chilled Blue Tea drink, nice gift shop with a wide variety of reasonably priced items, Ayurvedic Center with the best facial I've ever had, to the rooms with the really tropical feeling outdoor bath/shower & attention to sustainable products, 4 PM tea cart with staff & guests, hammocks to relax in, quick walk to the sea, dining options, and a fabulous swimming pool, and other activities to choose from, which were each enjoyable. I'm back at work and think about how nice it would be to have more days at the Marari Beach Hotel! Really a wonderful short two night stay at Marari and their accommodating & friendly staff. Great place - would definitely return given the opportunity!
