A very special place!!! You can take kayak to go to the waterfall and you will see a lot of monkeys there . The owners and all the staff there are very friendly and helpful. Hope to see you again!!!

Went there with a couple of friends last weekend and our getaway was ruined by the host’s attitude. Mr Laverdure was impolite, rude, judgmental and most of all very hypocritical(changed attitude when he realized that he knew one member of the group). I can’t stop thinking what it would have been otherwise. I will not recommend this place and will never go there again. This place has a great potential but the host has to do some questioning I think. Customers don’t pay to be threatened and treated like this WITHOUT ANY REASON. (Started from the moment we crossed the door)

I cannot recommend Evazion enough. Since day 1 I was impressed by the warm welcome from Mr Laverdure and all the people who work there - the cleaners, the cooks, the helpers. At Evazion we felt like we were paying a visit to family members. Such was the hospitality of our host. The rooms were clean and spacious. We had an excellent dinner (fish curry, vegetables, faratas etc) and breakfast (crepe, egg, fruits, gato pimen, gato banane etc) in the package. I had one of my best weekend since a long time. I spent quality time in nature kayaking, dozing on the hammock or trekking to Beau Champs waterfall. I look forward to my next visit at Evazion!

We stayed there as a family of three. The location is highly convenient to explore nearby sights such as Grand River South-East and Trou d'Eau Douce. Also unlike other comparable accommodation EvaZion offers both breakfast and dinner. Owners are very helpful, thanks to Mr. Laverdure's recommendations we were able to enjoy a nice walk (around 6 kilometres) taking us deep into sugarcane fields towards a waterfall. Upon request the owners are also able to make arrangements for facilities such as kayak and boat trip to the waterfall on Grand River South-East. Room was clean and wifi internet was decent. You couldn't possibly ask for more: for its pricing, EvaZion provides great value for money. There is even a swimming pool which guests are allowed to use, as well as a hammock and benches on the river bank where you can relax. Be mindful of a few things: the heat and humidity which can be extremely disturbing in the early months of the year and the presence of mosquitoes. Visitors should take all the usual precaution measures against these (hats, caps, sunscreen, mosquito repellent).

The place is beautiful and we have a really nice view over the river and the sea.Everybody is kind as well as the food was delicious. They take all information needed concerning dietary restrictions. We had the opportunity to go kayaking in the river. It was a good experience and it was peaceful. We had the impression we were in a completely another world and the atmosphere is serene and we can hear the birds in the morning, the wind in the leaves. Everything there brought peace and relieved stress. It is a place that one really need to experience and appreciate. It was just an amazing time😌🌻❤️🪄. It was Magical ❤️

Caring staff with lots of advice. Diversified breakfast included (fruits, eggs, pancakes, hot drinks...)
Well located for the east of the island but not to move around the whole island because the journeys are long

Zimmer absolut sauber, Ausstattung einfach aber ok. Frühstück gut. Abendessen nach Absprache mit der Köchin, lecker und reichhaltig. Kajaks zum Besuch des Wasserfalls werden kostenfrei zur Verfügung gestellt. Es empfiehlt sich die Tour morgens um 7.00/8.00 zu machen da später die Motorboottouren kommen. Der Hotelbesitzer und das Personal waren sehr nett und immer hilfsbereit.
