We had a fantastique experience over here. The staff was very friendly, the food just GREAT and the location TOP. I recommend this address to,everybody! Our kids loved the 2 swimming pools and we enjoyed the great sights. The owner help us also with some nice activities and addresses for lunch.

From the time we arrived, to the day we checked in we were treated like royalty. The accommodation is absolutely breathtaking. The service absolutely exceptional. Ashbourne Country Escape is the perfect escape to take a break, recharge and breath in fresh air. Rob and his team have mastered the art of hospitality and treating people with kindness and making everyone feel special. We can't wait to go back over and over again. I would highly recommend this beautiful place. The views are stunning and uninterrupted. The food delicious. Words can't explain Ashbourne, it is an absolute EXPERIENCE. It breaths life into your soul. We can't thank Rob, Charles, the Chef and the amazing ladies that cleaned our room daily. Please go see this place for yourself.

We had arrived at the hotel everything was normal until they showed us our room. It was dirty and there was a bird in our room so we had to bring it outside, we let it slide. But later that day, after dinner, we found a frog jumping around the room, so, again, we had to bring it back outside. Then before sleeping we found a lizard and a spider crawling around our room.

The owners are very friendly and help you with any and everything. They have been in the area for decades. The breakfast and dinner options were 5 star and the service was amazing. The location and views are simply stunning.

Everything about this place is amazing from the comfy and beautiful rooms to the amazing service from Rob and his staff. The meal available from the kitchen is just amazing and made with so much attention to detail. 15/10 would recommend

This was our fourth visit at Ashbourne...and it just keeps getting better!!!... Wonderful accomodation on top of a hill with a gorgeous panorama and great sunsets...lovely accomodations with nice little touches....but best of all Rob, Dawne and Sabine will make you feel like friends...so kind, so helpful, so funny..and Charlie and Tina run a great dining room and kitchen.. if you want to explore the Panorama route and need a gateway to Kruger Park...this is the place to go!! weniger lesen

Loved this lodge as a base for Kruger. Rob and his team where amazing, food was wonderful, accomodation was impeccable and our kids loved the animals. And the best sundowner spot by the pool. Tina the chef is fabulous and really accomodating for kids. Charles was also loved by our girls. Highly recommend for families.

10 out of 10! Ashobourne Country Escape und vor allem Rob der Gastgeber sind einfach Top. Eine großzügige Parkanlage, in die sich die 8 individuelle Häuschen bzw. Zimmer und Appartements zwischen viele Garten-Räume und schattige Plätzchen nahtlos einfügen. Eine grüne Oase, mit viel Liebe zum Detail. Ein Pool für den Sonnenaufgang und einer für den Sonnenuntergang. Eine „Bar of Trust“ , ein Restaurant mit der Atmosphäre von „good old english times“ in dem man sich „royal“ fühlt. Wir wurden jeden Tag aufs Vorzüglichste, kulinarisch verwöhnt. Von unserem Kingsize-Bett aus haben wir den Sonnenaufgang genossen. Und nach dem Frühstück mit Rob besprochen, was wir unternehmen. Am besten seinen Vorschlägen folgen, dann ist der Tag perfekt organisiert. Wir hätten uns keinen besseren Ort vorstellen können, um unsere Afrika-Reise ausklingen zu lassen. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Ashbourne! Rob was a wonderful host who made us feel right at home. The property was beautiful, the views were special and dinner and breakfast were quite good. Rob was very helpful giving us options for local things to do after our check out.
