Vogue Hotel Montreal Downtown, Curio Collection by Hilton

This hotel was advertised as a fine and luxurious resort by American Express. It came with $100 hôtel credit and free breakfast. I have to say the the people working at the hotel were great and very kind. The room was very nice as well. When I checked in , I was told that I could only use the credit toward the parking and the room mini bar because everything in the hotel was closed . This was a family trip , there isn’t much I can use in the mini bar. The restaurant was closed The bar was closed The gym was closed The boutique was closed Also, since the restaurant was closed, the free inclusive breakfast consisted of a boxed continental breakfast where you could not select anything . This was not very popular with my kids. We came back to our room after the fireworks and noticed the room hadn’t cooled . I called the front desk and they told me that the AC hadn’t been working properly in a few days . They kindly offered a fan which I accepted considering it was 75 in the room. They returned 15 minutes later with no fan because there were none available . We barely slept that night. All of these items should have been disclosed of before booking or before arrival. I would have booked another hotel had I known. The AC situation should have been disclosed of upon check in considering it had been going on for a few days. For us, this experience was very disappointing.

Preliminarily, nothing happened that was terrible. It just didn’t live up to the reviews. In advance of our stay, I received an email offering a junior suite upgrade if I wanted to pay $210. Given current pricing, this wasn’t really a deal and had I needed this I would have booked it. It was also not great because I have status with bonvoy and typically enjoy complimentary upgrades. This just means the hotel could upgrade me but was instead trying to profit. I did receive a slightly larger room according to the front desk. I was also asked if I wanted any gifts and if this was a special occasion. Again fine, but seemed a bit profit driven particularly since nothing else I said seemed to matter. I noted that this was our babymoon and was offered a pregnancy pillow which was nice. Alas, the special pillow I was emailed about wasn’t in the room and no one seemed to know it was a special occasion. We called down and it was sent up. It is great that the hotel has this. Eventually we received some cut fruit, a nice note, and water. I recognize that we are not entitled to anything, but the other reviews seemed to indicate that the hotel goes above and beyond. None of that happened for us. On the bright side, the rooms are beautiful and the housekeeping is outstanding. The bed is very comfortable. Everything you need is there in the room and it was very clean. Wi-fi was hit or miss. It frequently cut out for us which wasn’t great. We thought the other hotels we stayed at on the trip did a better job of making this a special occasion. This hotel is fine for business (hopefully Wi-Fi is more consistent) it just didn’t live up to the expectation. It’s a very pricey hotel and needs some extra oomph to justify the expense. Others have seen it, but we didn’t.

Took 747 bus from Montréal–Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport to Lionel Groulx Metro station which was approximately twenty- five minutes. Took Green line towards Honore-Beaugrand and got off two stations later at Guy Concorde. Take the first car so that you can exit at St Matthieu. The hotel is two blocks away on Sherbrooke. Hotel can’t be missed Olson e it’s located right on the corner. The ticket to travel is purchased at airport for $11 and can be used for unlimited travel within 24 hours. Check in to hotel was quick and easy. Since I arrived prior to 3:00 p.m. check in I left my luggage and walked in the nearby area. I was in room 404 which is the last floor. It’s a walk up. Room had exterior view. I found room to be clean. Although it’s no -smoking it did seem previous guest had been smoking. I mentioned it to front desk and when I returned later that evening smell was gone. Room size is nice and comfortable. Working safe box is provided along with umbrella, iron and ironing board. Toiletries were provided and refilled along with towels on a daily basis. No complaints about noise, it was a quiet hotel. Continental breakfast was fine. Being able to get croissants and pain-au-chocolate when it’s warm is good. Hotel location is great since you can walk downtown, Mont Royal Park and as far as Old Montréal if you are a walker. Getting an unlimited card for at least three days makes it easier to cover a lot of the city. There are many spots to eat with a large selection in cuisines especially along St Catherine. I would definitely recommend this hotel . Staff was always helpful.

This time on a long business trip, I chose this hotel in order to be able to cook. It was really good value. The cleaners were responsible and the kitchen was full of kitchen utensils. Front desk attitude was good!
Hotel 2170 Lincoln Downtown Montreal

The room is reasonably priced and there are supermarkets, restaurants and subway stations nearby. The hotel also has its own laundry room and other facilities. Let’s talk about the shortcomings: 1) the breakfast is too simple and there are few varieties, 2) the double bed is too small, it’s almost like a single bed, 3) the bathroom is too small

Novotel Montreal Center

We stayed a couple of nights pre-cruise to acclimatise and enjoy Montreal in the early Summer. We had a pleasant stay, very personable staff and a decent room. Novotel fittings seem to lean toward minimalist scandi which can give an air of being sp****, but bedding was very comfortable. Additional pillows appeared on request. Breakfast was interesting, again possibly post-covid staffing issues as things took a while but the staff were again very engaging. Great location on Rue de la Montagne with easy access to public transit and taxis to the port. Definitely would stay here again.
Le Nouvel Hotel

The hotel is in a good location, very close to the city center, 5 minutes walk to the supermarket, the room is large, I booked 2 nights with the child, bought a pizza at the nearby supermarket at night, bite the microwave in the hotel, delicious I like it very much. Later, because I rushed to the hotel, I needed to check out one night. The staff of Ctrip also helped me communicate very smoothly. Thank you for the arrangement of Ctrip. Thank you for your staff. I will support Ctrip as always. Attach the snow scene I took outside the hotel window, I hope everyone likes it.
Sens Hotel

The hotel is located in the city center, about 10-15 minutes walk from the commercial area and 3 minutes from the subway station! The room is very big, that is, Ctrip's room is close to the elevator. The first day arrives late, not too much attention! The next day, the elevator is called earth-shattering every time it starts. After seeing the elevator room, you have to change it quickly!
