FairBridge Inn & Suites – Moscow/Pullman

We were in the Moscow area to drop off our son for college. We snoozed and waited to long to book a hotel and the Fairbridge was the only one that had availability. We checked in for two nights and right away alarm bells went off when the guy behind the desk offered two gentlemen a room whith a matress on the floor because the frame had broken. We got the key and drove around to the back of the building which was the closest entrance to our room, where we came upon two guys who had parked their truck by the entry and were barbecueing almost in front of the door. Hows that for fire safety? I went right away to get some coffee from the breakfast room and at 4pm the trash bins were still overflowing with trash from breakfast. We got to our room and it smelled so bad, the decor was old and hadn't changed from when it was a Wyndham property. They just stuck a sticker over a large picture over the bed where the Wyndham logo was. The bathroom was dirty and our bed felt as if the frame was breaking as well, it sank on one side. I laid my suitcase on the floor and opened the zipper and somehow I got into contact with a plug from the lamp and got shocked. The wire was receiding from the plug. We called the desk clerk immediately and he came right away, asked me if I needed to go to the ER and took the lamp with him. I didn't feel bad so no ER visit was necessary. The next day my husband managed to get us a room at the Marriot on campus. Upon leaving we asked to talk to the manager but she wasn't in. We got her phone number and an email adress. The email bounced right back and she never answered her phone. We really wanted to get at least half the money back as we left one day early. Do yourself a favor and don't stay there. For $580 for two nights I expected better!

The price was right but everything else was poor . Arm chair pleather peeled off the headrest. Charged $57 for 2 small ( 1/4 inch ) spots of blood that was on bandage that leaked on my arm. Called back , but , representative said that fee was correct.

room was very cleanly. service was amazing. breakfast in the morning was delicious. wanted to shout out Tanya directly for having such great hospitality and immaculate customer service. she was so kind and met all of our needs. will be recommending this location to friends and family, as well as returning myself.

I really appreciated this lodging. It had all the important things - very comfortable beds, clean rooms, and a solid complimentary breakfast - in a more appealing location than similar motels at the edge of campus in Pullman, which is always where I stayed before when visiting WSU. Even though FairBridge is only a block away from Hwy 8, it feels a little like the country, very peaceful and removed from hubbub, with pleasant landscaping and residential surroundings. Totally worth driving the extra 8 miles. There are a lot of shopping options nearby, including Winco and Target within very short walking distance, and there is a scenic paved trail running parallel to the highway. Good dining options in Moscow, too. The staff were all attentive and helpful, especially Brian. When anything ran out at the breakfast bar and I called on him, he always came immediately and with a smile and friendly words to supply what was needed. They also had two exceptionally well-stocked vending machines, one with a large variety of frozen foods, including entrees and ice cream. The toilet paper was rough but the tissues were soft, which is almost never the case, and that made up for the toilet paper. My two priorities for this stay were affordability and comfort, and FairBridge more than delivered. I would definitely stay here again.

No frills (but I did get breakfast!). Clean, courteous, safe, convenient. Traveling with an elderly parent on a tight budget. Room was tight but clean and bright. Desk staff and maintenance were very helpful and pleasant. Location was convenient, easy on/off to highway and close to campus

Hotel is run down with mismatched furniture and old beds. Breakfast room decor is sad. So much potential but everything needs renovating. Room had lots of space. Internet was good. The room was quite hot as the air conditioner was not adequate for the room size.

One of our worst stays yet. No elevators for someone with disabilities, I told them I had knee problems but I'm guessing because we had a dog they stuck us on the third floor. I had to climb three flights of stairs, with luggage, to get to our room. :(

Room had a sickening odor that gave me a headache.. It was a handicapped accessible room, but it was very small and not easy for anyone to get around. Not truly accessible. Putting up a grab bar in the bathroom does not make a room accessible.

This wasn’t a place I had picked it was the only one left with vacancy. No elevators was tough on my 87yr old mom but thankfully only on 2 floor, but now wished we were in the 3rd floor. The room size for 2 queens was ok. The mattress was horrible. They crinkled like a kids bed with a pee sheet on it. I knew when my mom got up the bed made noise. Walls super thin heard the people above walk around and talking until 1:30am. Also, when the people above flushed the toilet it sounded like a mini rainfall go down the wall which was loud . The free breakfast well we decided to eat out but the orange juice wasn’t bad. I would ONLY stay here again if it was the last resort otherwise, only good thing was….hmmm..well I will say the front desk people.
