7月の初旬頃 天気は晴天で最高気温33度くらいだったと思います。16時過ぎに宿に到着、リビングダイニング側の窓から強烈な西日が差し込み、リビングダイニングのエアコンは稼働していたが全く効いておらず、到着して30位したらエアコンが停止。何度起動しても直ぐに停止。他の寝室2ヶ所のエアコンを起動しても、キッチン含めて20畳以上有ると思われるリビングダイニングを冷やす事は到底叶わず非常に暑い思いをしました。管理者に連絡を入れましたが、対応できるスタッフが時間が遅く捕まらないとの事で、試しにエアコンのコンセントを抜いて、再度挿したら治る事もあるので試してくださいと言われました。余りにも暑かったので、海に出ていた為戻って試そうとしたが、コンセントが無く室外機から直で内機に繋がっているタイプでした。仕方なくブレーカーを切ろうとしたら分電盤も隠蔽されており何処に在るのかすら分からずじまいで、既に管理側の営業時間終了しており連絡付かず、日も沈んでいた事で少しずつ冷えてきました。
到着時に余りにも冷やしきれないので、内機を確認したら通常は6畳間で使用するくらいの能力のエアコンが付いていました。先に書きましたが、20畳以上はありそうな場所で、天井も高いのでこの能力のエアコンでは冷やしきれずに停止するのも仕方がないだろうと思いました。いくらなんでもこの広さでこのエアコンのサイズは有り得ないです。西日が差すという事は、綺麗な夕焼けを堪能出来るはずですが、選定を間違えているエアコンのせいで全て台無しで、非常に残念です。
非常に広くて夕焼けを堪能しながら皆でワイワイするにはとっても良い所だと思いますが、夏場にご利用を検討されていたら注意が必要です。
リビングダイニングのエアコンの取付位置も悪いので、天井の高い位置にももう一台追加した方が良いと思います。
