She treated us like relatives visiting during the Chinese New Year. It felt like home. It is best to stay overnight in the ancient town. It is especially good to visit in the morning and evening.

Two days in advance, I added the housekeeper's WeChat and booked the meal and hot spring time. It is more convenient to drive there. After locating their parking lot, a housekeeper will pick us up to check in at the B&B. The room is still clean as a whole, with everything it should have. The welcome fruits and flowers are still very warm. There is only a window on the top to watch the starry sky. The glass is a little dirty after a long time, but it doesn't affect it at night. After that, we walked around. The content of the B&B is still very complete, with a large room for dinner, facilities for children to play, hot springs and swimming pools, and places to read and drink tea. Walking out of the B&B, the village is peaceful and quiet. Walk around and feel the environment and culture of Maoao Village. I made an appointment for dinner and hot springs in the evening at the B&B. Because it is a reservation system, it is equivalent to a private soup, which feels good. Go to the mountains on a weekday when there are fewer people and relax your city mind. After comparing several hotels and B&Bs online, I was finally conquered by the greenery outside the window and stayed at Meisu. 💚 I slept until I woke up naturally, and my breakfast became brunch because I stayed in bed. Fully enjoyed the privilege of rest days~ What I particularly want to praise is the cleanliness of Meisu. It really beats most B&Bs in terms of cleanliness. When I passed by the tool room, I glanced at it and saw that it was also very neat and neatly organized. 🧰 Made a reservation for dinner cooked by my aunt. Originally I just wanted to eat something simple, but I didn't expect that when it was served, the quantity of each dish could be described as solid. Seeing that it might be a waste, but the first piece of braised pork in my mouth makes me want to add a bowl of rice~😋 Very happy to spend leisurely time in Meisu. Wish you better and better.

A very clean, tidy and cost-effective B&B. The proprietress and her family are very straightforward. We avoided the peak period before National Day and the proprietress even upgraded our room! That’s great. The breakfast seafood noodles made by Auntie are also delicious, worth it!

It’s a B&B that people like at first glance (at least that’s what I think). Whether it’s the facilities in the room or the scenery at the door (right next to the Qixiakeng Ancient Road), I think this visit is worth it! The food is also very delicious. My child didn’t even take a few bites of the food he ordered from a small restaurant near Xikou last year. It was not to his liking and it was also noisy. Unexpectedly, the chopsticks didn’t stop today, which means it’s very delicious and indeed in line with our taste. , How can taro be so pink and waxy! Delicious! We are already discussing how to come and stay for a few days during the summer vacation. In summer, we can play in the small stream in front of our house! Walking around the ancient village in the evening has a beautiful artistic conception! Anyway, it’s a comfortable stay and a comfortable environment. My overall stay was quite pleasant, despite a bumpy start. Thankfully, the Howard Johnson Dongqian Lake's service was satisfactory, especially Manager Lou. She was dedicated, empathetic, and provided thoughtful, prompt service, demonstrating excellent hotel management qualities! I was traveling with my parents during a cold snap, and our original room was chilly. Manager Lou quickly arranged a room change to a different floor. We also encountered an unexpected power outage in parts of the Dongqian Lake resort area, which caused some inconvenience. However, Manager Lou and her team handled the emergency promptly and thoughtfully, taking care of my elderly parents. Her attitude and professionalism were commendable, and the other staff members also did a great job with the details. It's worth mentioning that the hotel offers cultural and entertainment experiences like Baduanjin (a traditional Chinese exercise), Song Dynasty tea ceremony, and deer park fun, which effectively enriched our holiday. These activities are suitable for both seniors and children. The location is also great: near Hanling Old Street in Dongqian Lake, about a ten-minute walk, and convenient for reaching other attractions. I hope the hotel continues to improve, with timely updates to some of the facilities. I look forward to staying here again in the future.

The land lady is really kind & nice, attended to all our needs & requests. They serve decent food at their self-run local restaurant & the location is within a charming village. The room is new, so if it was cleaned properly, I would have given an easy 5 stars. However, only the bed linens & towels are obviously sanitary & the rest are all questionable. But the hot water in the shower is very hot, which is a big plus & The pillows are soft & comfortable. I would recommend not to drink the water from the boiling device as it tastes funny, and keep the bathroom door closed because there’s an awful smell that comes out of it sometimes. The public veranda overlooking the mountains is not maintained at all & is dirty, if not, it would be a great spot to relax. Overall my stay was ok, especially because of the very accommodating land lady/owner.

It’s simply delightful! I come back every other year for a few days; I arrive feeling weary and leave feeling completely refreshed. The villas at Manxiugu are diverse in style and shape – from two-story Gothic-inspired spires to charming Baroque wooden cabins. Each room has a pleasant woody fragrance that ensures a peaceful night's sleep. On hot days, you can enjoy a refreshing swim in the clear infinity pool. And the chef's culinary skills are truly exceptional – the food is delicious, not greasy, and incredibly appetizing, all at a reasonable price, so there's no need to dine out. The service philosophy is guest-first, with every request met and every detail handled until you're completely satisfied. I especially want to thank Miss Xiaoyu, who thoughtfully carried our bags and helped us, who aren't so young anymore, settle in comfortably. My detailed rambling is simply because my stay was so comfortable and satisfying, so I highly recommend everyone give it a try!

This Xiangshan vacation was a perfect stay! The hotel has been open for some years, but the common areas, pool, and room facilities are all incredibly well-maintained, showing no signs of age. The rooms are spotless, not a speck of dust even in the corners. The breakfast buffet was absolutely amazing, with fresh seafood noodles and local snacks. All the staff were incredibly kind and attentive. A special shout-out to our butler, Xiao Shi, who was always available for any requests, proactively helped deliver supplies, and explained the beach tour routes. Our entire stay was delightful, and we'll definitely choose this hotel again next time!

We first inquired about Tianmingshan, and they recommended us to stay downstairs. We traveled with my husband, son, and daughter, a family of four. Thanks to the front desk manager for upgrading us to a suite. It was quite nice. I initially thought it would have a strong musty smell, but it was fine once we got inside. The hot springs and breakfast were both good, though the walk up and down the stairs can be a bit slippery on rainy days.
