Ginger Mysore

I have been in the same hotel in Mysore around 10 years back...since the time they actually started and was very impressed. So when the occasion came to go to Mysore again, I chose this one. They have maintained some things but gone down on some. a) the bed is just too soft- good for someone bad for people with back pain. b) the towels and the bed linen are washed but not that clean- run down condition, if you know what I mean. c) The check in time was at 1 but the room was still not ready till 2/ 230 pm d) Strange is that they have given one cup in the rooms instead of two. e) the stirrers are missing- one has to call and wait for getting the basic stirrers. f) the patch works in the infrastructure is showing up (lights has been fixed..but the painting has not been fixed.. g) the phones in the room are primitive and has an irritating sound of loose connections with no details on what number to call for what? Good part: - the break fast buffet is still very good. - the shower is awesome. Still worth a stay, since I love Tata's I want them to look into these minor details...

Location & Room : The hotel is located close to major attractions in Mysore - Karanji lake , Zoo , Chamundi Hills etc.. Rooms are simple but comfortable , have options of 2 single beds & 1 double bed , table ,Tea/Coffe maker , wardrobe & large TV (relatively) . The bathrooms are small but still convenient .Overall we felt rooms are designed very well optimising the given space. The rooms on upper floors are good with almost open sky view, ours was 312 , the lower floors should be ok too I guess . Restaurant/ Food ＞＞ They have a restaurant on the ground floor near reception , we had complimentary Breakfast & Ala-carte Dinner here . They may not have a comprehensive Menu but whatever they served was well made & tasted good . We tried Tomato soup ,Dal ,Paneer ,Laccha Parantha ,Chapati etc. . Pasta/Sandwich may need bit of improvement . Although the restaurant is not huge but guess its large enough for the residing guests . We didnt feel like going outside for food. Special mention of the excellent service provided by Guruprasad S who was always ready to help - Breakfast or Dinner ,others in the team should ape him . Parking ＞＞ They have their own parking space within campus, didnt have any issue here. Service ＞＞ Rooms were clean , felt the service was upto the mark with couple of glitches here & there . If you set your expectations , you would not find too much missing .This is a no frills ,value for money place to stay

Stayed for a day. Quick Check-in. Quick Check Out. The food provided by the Etc Cafe was great. Do try the Gobhi paratha, as it is made in a north Indian style. it was an exception to my usual observation "Dilli mein dosa aur Bangalore me paratha khaane ka ek hi nishkarsh- dono bekaar hote hai"

The service is good, room is good clean and well maintained, food is good too its a well maintained hotel. The gym can be a little bigger and food menu can have more variety. Overall its a very good hotel.Thanx to all staff,Especially Mr Abdul for good hospitality.

Thanks to Ginger hotel team and Abdul for quick service and great hospitality during my stay, and its located near to all tourist attraction points like Mysuru palace, Mysuru Zoo (India's biggest zoo), underwater zoo, etc and its near to bus stand and train station as well.

I stay in Ginger for business purposes for longer than a month. It was a really pleasant place to stay at. Most liked how well-kept and tidy they kept things. The Ginger Hotel Staff is all extremely courteous. The Ginger Hotel's cuisine is excellent. You will receive a complimentary breakfast in the morning. Food is served to guests with love and respect by the entire canteen team, including Guru Prasad, Yaseen, Nagendra, Balu, Abdul, and Santosh. Reception Staff was also very helpful and polite with Guest .

It is centrally located. Zoo, Snow world, museum of natural history are all within 10 minutes walking distance. Close to main Palace, Chamundi hills, Sukha Vana as well. Very cordial staff. Guru & BalaSubra***ium from the restaurant took good care of us during our stay. Food was very good with a very elaborate platter for complimentary breakfast. The restaurant staff ensured that all our requirements were met to our satisfaction. I certainly look forward to staying here again in future.

A ginger hotel is buggeted hotel and people's are very friendly I'm staying in room no 211 and I met a good people's In hotel and restaurant was very well .hospitality is very good Mr santosh was treated was good in breakfast .ist a pleasant stay

I stayed for a night in Ginger Mysuru. Its a budget hotel, although from the Taj Group. The experience was beyond expectations. From the time of booking to being attended at the reception, to the room attendants, all were so helpful. The two ladies at the reception were helpful with check-in and also to store my suitcase in the cloakroom while I roamed around the city. The room was neat and clean with all regular amenities, nothing to complain about. I want to call out the names of two people who were especially helpful: 1. the white-haired gentle*** in white shirt at the door. He was so keen to suggest good places to eat Biriyani and Pulao to us. On his recommendation we went to Hanu***tha hotel next day. It was an outstanding experience. Full credit to him for his keenness to help. 2. I ***aged to leave my expensive perfume back at hotel. Mr. Mohan Gowda not only helped to find it, He also organized payment and delivery through courier service to deliver it to my home in perfect condition. I am more than thankful to these gentlemen for their help and to Ginger Mysuru for an outstanding experience. Also, the chicken curry served in dinner buffet was very tasty.
