Totally bowled over by this place It was a two hour ride from Xiamen and you started realising it was really special when you enter Taxia village. The resort is an integral part of the village and the local villagers were sunning their harvests next to it. From the moment you walked into the resort, you could feel that you will be well taken care of. So much love and dedication was done in building the place, it felt totally seamless with the surrounding traditional houses and yet, the level of luxury is no different from any 5 star hotel. Each nook and cranny were beautiful and I could spend a whole day just looking them We stayed in the double room unit which was located across the stream from the reception with views to die for and so much privacy. Food was hearty and more than enough Don't miss our on their activities Would love to go back again

The scenery is good. Good service in the store. After taking a bath and boiling hot water for 3 minutes, I called the boss. The boss answered the phone in the middle of the night. He said that the boiler was on the first floor and waited for the pipeline to open the sink together. The hot water was faster. Here comes. I didn't pay attention to the time for breakfast. The boss waited until we went downstairs at 11:30, and the breakfast was still there. Before leaving, help send the items at the front desk and wait for SF Express to collect them in the afternoon. We planned to spend one night at the Lotus Land but we ended up spending 3 nights instead. The hotel is very well located, very clean and the staff was great! We had so many cloths to be washed and once asked the girl from reception some help, she took us to their laundry room and helped us out washing our cloths without any extra fee. I strongly suggest you to stay at this hotel if u plan to visit the Tulou cluster in Fujian.

This place is a gem! Located in Taxia village, rooms are above a wine brewery. It is very clean, comfortable & cosy, equipped with heater (it’s winter) brightly lit if you’re looking to stay at the hakka village. The village itself is very beautiful both during the day and night. The owner is kind and polite who waited for us despite a very late check-in. We had a taste of her Chinese wine after dinner and they were all very good! I especially liked the plum and white wine. Bought them and they were packed nicely to withstand air travels. Highly recommended place to stay, a nice experience staying here! Wished we had more time. For breakfast you can go to the restaurant opposite which served very nice dishes. The villagers are very friendly too!
