Hotels Near Cherry Blossom Garden Trail in Nantou

The best part about this hotel (国民賓館) is its location. Bus 6664, 6658, 6659 all stop less than 80m from its entrance if you're using Nantou bus. It's along the main road which is easy for pickups if you're joining local day or night tours. Across the road from Little Swiss Garden. Even Cingjing Farm has signs along its walking paths directing visitors to the hotel. The other main benefit was that the room rates I paid on Trip.com included a pair of tickets to Green Green Grassland, Little Swiss Garden and a discounted ticket (only need top up 30TWD each) to the Cingjing Skywalk - pleasantly surprised to know this only at check-in although I knew beforehand that the room rates included basic Chinese breakfast for 2, which was another convenient point for guests. The hotel buildings and room was a bit dated, no aircon since the weather in the evening and morning is cooling. But the room, bed, utilensils and toilet were clean. The view from the room balcony and hotel garden was nice to view sunset.

Stayed many times, good quality and low price, youth activity center, quiet environment, great air in the morning, pets are not allowed in the room! If you live in a log cabin, you may get up early in the morning and meet cute and mischievous monkeys. You can also climb the mountain next to it and there are many beautiful butterflies. You can eat enough with a simple breakfast, and the things in the welfare agency are very cheap.

Supplementary comment~The scenery is too beautiful🥺 We checked in because we were celebrating an anniversary! The hotel also helped with the decoration and provided a bottle of red wine which was very thoughtful☺️ I didn’t go anywhere, just stayed in the hotel and it was so relaxing☺️ There are so many different styles of dinner, but it’s a pity that people with small stomachs can’t hold so many things..😂 After eating, you can go to the play area to move around and throw a basketball to digest... I was so full that I played darts and pool 😂😂 It was so fun 😁 There was some incident at breakfast the next day that I won’t go into details~ But the hotel's handling method is very good. It takes our feelings into consideration! Tea was originally given to us as a gift, but we did not accept it at the moment. But when we checked out, the hotel staff personally gave us handmade bread from the hotel’s baking department and insisted that we accept it😀 I will still choose here next time I go to Nantou for vacation^_^

The boss lady is very kind and will introduce you to the environment. She is also very enthusiastic to make tea and chat with you. The bathroom and toilet are very clean, the public areas are also well maintained, the beds are very good, and the roommates this time are great and know how to say hello. The good thing is that the hotel is strategically located right by the lake on the edge of the village. There is a floating dock with a location on it, where you can enjoy the view while drinking. The hotel looks very beautiful, made of wood, the walls and ceilings of the room are also made of wood, there is a very warm and attractive feeling. Free wireless Internet is available. On the poor side, our room was obviously dirty. Several obvious spots on the beige carpet had a few large, uncomfortable-looking stains. There was a used wet towel on the floor of the shower room, which indicated that the cleanliness of the room and the level of preparation of the room were not high. We weren’t surprised to be staying in room 303 because we stayed for one night and didn’t expect the best room they could give us. The good side of the room is that the lake view is very beautiful (not all rooms can see the lake view), the bad room is that the room is just next to the lobby, so it is very noisy. The front desk kept music and heard it clearly in the room (I think there was a loudspeaker on one wall in the room). After a few hours I told the front desk staff if they would mind turning the volume down a little bit, and they agreed. We could hear it though the business wasn't that loud. Another group gathered in the lobby before setting off, and the noise of their talking and laughing was loud in the room. So if you are staying at this hotel, I suggest you want a room a little further from the front desk. There is an indoor pool downstairs which is great if the water is warm. The water in the same jacuzzi is also very cold. This time of year this place is quite cold, especially at night, so it would be great if you could swim or soak in warm water. We didn't see a person swimming when we lived there. Now talk about breakfast: breakfast should have been from 7 to 9:30. We arrived at the restaurant at 9 o'clock and saw a smileless lady. She took our breakfast coupon and didn't say a word, and then we were the air. There was another employee at that time. A young male waiter. There were a lot of empty tables, but the tableware was not set. After a while we found that we had to do it ourselves, we looked around and found some tableware mats and knives and forks and arranged the table ourselves. Then we went to get something to eat. When you are looking forward to the general breakfast experience at a Taiwanese hotel - friendly welcome, lead you to the table, ask if you want coffee, thoughtful service, thank you when you leave, etc. - then Sun Moon Lake Lushan Forest International Hall is really funny compared to that. My wife and I have been constantly feeling the friendship and enthusiasm of the Taiwanese people during our two-week trip to Taiwan, and we are impressed and happy with this, so we will not be less impressed by Taiwan because of this unpleasant experience. However, if you want to feel the hospitality of Taiwan, I suggest you try other hotels. (Fortunately, we didn't have dinner in the hotel restaurant before, otherwise we would be disappointed twice. We went to the Regal Resort B&B 50 yards away and had a very interesting and enjoyable dinner in a garden lit by candles. The place also has guest rooms, full of artwork and tourist souvenirs. This one might also be a good choice in the area.)

I am 1/25 staying in the double room on 606 and smelled a very strong smell of smoke as soon as I entered it. It was like the smell of smoke in KTV. Location: Excellent! It is located next to the ticketing office and hence, easier to buy boat ticket. We are lucky to get a complimentary upgrade to a four bedder and it faces the lake. It was beautiful. There are a lot of eateries and shops selling local delicacies so not too worry about meals. Breakfast : at level 2. Breakfast is simple - serves toast and Chinese porridge with dishes Hotel room: clean and neat. I love the hair conditioner ! Receptionist : polite and helpful Would recommend this hotel for its superb location and convenience.

Excellent view from my room, hotel is in a great location and the staff seem friendly. The breakfast selection is good. The downside of this hotel is the cleanliness. There is dirt in the corners of the rooms and too much mould in the bathroom for the price of the hotel. Needs a deep clean in the bathrooms.

The room is clean ,Bed is comfy. Staff are very helpful although some of them can’t speak English.. The location is only 100 meters bus station and near starbucks coffee. The view from our room is stunning. If we go back to Sun moon lake. This hotel will be a first choice.

It is a good spot to buy necessary stuffs and an access full place to see some view and go other view spot you want to see. facilities is so so. service is just ok. restaurant persons probably tke your food plans and bowl quickly if you don't notice that, it is kind of rude way. except this , other aspects is ok or so so for this restaurant. besides,you can rent bike easily outside in this spot.
