The stay itself was pretty good. The owner is very friendly, and they also have cats and dogs.

The last night of my 4-day, 3-night solo trip, I experienced staying in a glamping tent. It was surprisingly spacious for just one person. The starry sky at night was absolutely breathtaking. The afternoon showers gave way to a magnificent rainbow stretching across the valley right before my eyes, which brought even more joy. I hope to return with friends next time so we can enjoy a barbecue together. For this peaceful solo getaway, I opted for the guesthouse's casual dinner, and it was surprisingly hearty and delicious!

This cabin can accommodate 7 people, but there were five of us. The bed was quite firm, which I actually preferred, as I'm usually a very light sleeper and particular about beds, often not falling asleep until 4 AM. Breakfast was consistent: two slices of toast, a small salad with two slices of ham, and an egg. I really liked the wide selection of drinks available, including multigrain cereal, milk tea, black coffee, and juice. The owner is a young man. The dogs and cats are adorable, and you can pet them, but remember to wash your hands afterwards. The road leading up to the cabin was very winding and a bit challenging to navigate (especially on a scooter/bike). However, the cabin itself was very comfortable. The water pressure was excellent, and the water was very hot. We did encounter occasional bugs, which didn't bother me, but the kids were quite scared – though they were mostly just geckos, flies, and ants. The mountain views were beautiful. Unfortunately, we didn't get to see any stars or the sunrise during our stay. All in all, it's a great place to stay, and the mountain air is incredibly fresh!

Terrible experience... the stay was situated down a very steep, narrow and bumpy road. Tent room looked fine in photos but up close it was unclean and mouldy, bugs, dust and spiderwebs everywhere (which i forgot to take photos). Room had a horrible stench that would not go away, and had to go buy my own deodoriser/fabric bacteria killing spray to make it more bearable. because when I asked about the smell they were going to charge me for a room cleaning fee (for a room that they did not clean). Path to tent is filled with rocks and not comfortable to walk on or roll suitcase. Ended up only sleeping about 2 hours, as it was very uncomfortable and hot. I found half of a dead earwig underneath my pillow. There are gaps in the wall so bugs can easily crawl into the tent. And that made me paranoid and scared to sleep. The only good thing was my tent was the only tent with the bathroom inside. However the tent doesn’t have any ventilation so all the humidity from the shower would get trapped inside the tent too.

The mountain setting was wonderful. Surprisingly, even without air conditioning, the room was perfectly cool and comfortable. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay. I'd definitely prioritize staying here again if I revisit Cingjing. A bonus: booking through Trip got us a discount! 👍

Service: Pros: The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. They patiently answered all our questions regarding our itinerary. Cons: On the second night of our stay, perhaps because it was a Sunday, there were no staff members on duty after 8 PM, and the lobby lights were off. We wanted to ask for help reheating some food but couldn't find anyone. Environment and Facilities: Pros: The surroundings are beautiful, and we had stunning mountain views directly from our room. The room itself was spacious and relatively clean. A huge plus, especially for a guesthouse in the countryside, was that there were no bugs or insects in the room – quite an achievement! Cons: The mosquito screens on both the room door and windows were torn and damaged, which meant we couldn't open them for ventilation. And here’s the kicker: The room had NO AIR CONDITIONING! I booked this place after seeing reviews that mentioned AC, so finding none upon entering the room was truly shocking. If the guesthouse could address the damaged mosquito screens, at least we could have opened the windows for some airflow, even without AC. My friend and I felt like we were sleeping in a greenhouse for two nights; the outdoor temperature was actually cooler than inside our room. I sincerely hope the guesthouse can improve this situation. Overall, aside from the air conditioning issue, our stay was quite pleasant. The guesthouse cat was super friendly and affectionate, almost like a little welcoming committee, and we had a blast playing with it.

Honestly this place is really really interesting. I stayed at the tent and the view was amazing. It’s really quiet and there’s not much people around. If you have expectations of this accommodation to be like a really high class glamping experience you would definitely love it. The downside is that if you expect a hotel experience you would be in for a shock. There might be some small bugs around. I caught 2. But it was okay, the sheets and accommodation is relatively clean. It’s abit hard to get to this place if you carry heavy luggage’s, the road to the accommodation can get quite muddy if it rains and a uber would not be able to drop you off directly at the door step. FYI: The toliet is right outside the tent, just a step away but it’s not in the tent. Clean and okay to me. Overall it’s a good stay and I would stay here again with my friends if I am looking for a chill glamping experience. :)

Only one White Bear dog was provided. The room also felt like it hadn't had a thorough deep cleaning in a long time. There were cobwebs in the corners, the window screen couldn't close completely, leaving a small gap, and the facilities also appeared old and dated.

Upon entering, the room had a musty smell. The dehumidifier was full, and I had to empty it myself. There was hair in the bathroom drain and even on the shower hose. Frankly, I don't even want to go into further details. It clearly hadn't been cleaned. A total bust.

The environment here is absolutely wonderful! My only minor comment would be that the access road is a little narrow. The breakfast was really tasty, and having cats, dogs, and beautiful scenery around truly enhanced the experience. It's incredibly comfortable and relaxing, putting you in a fantastic mood.
