I had a wonderful stay at Limeshine Transit Hotel in Negambo. The room was impeccably clean, with fresh bedsheets, and both the AC and fans were in perfect working condition. The bathroom was spotless and well-stocked with handwash, shampoo, and body wash. Hot water and towels were also readily available. The hotel's location is very convenient, with a Cargills grocery store just a 2-minute walk away. There's a balcony and I enjoyed the view. The staff were exceptionally nice and incredibly helpful throughout my stay. I highly recommend Limeshine Transit Hotel to anyone visiting the area. We had an amazing holiday in this beautiful resort. Staff were so helpful and friendly. Room was well equipped and comfortable with all the amenities. Nice sea view rooms. This is the best place in negambo if you search a relaxing holiday. Pool and surroundings are amazing. Restaurant staff were friendly and always with a smile. Special thank to chathuranga. Breakfast is generally but a large amount, relatively simple, medium and medium rules. The room is huge, the bathroom is huge, there are slippers, but there is no toothpaste toothbrush, no water, the hotel door has a small supermarket in a few tens of meters, it is convenient, there are food, there are fruits. The hotel is not far from the north of the lagoon, the hotel beach is good.

This was my third stay at the Goldi Sands, honestly, the last time was nearly 20 years ago but I had such a great time back then I had high expectations. In the intervening 20 years, the hotel has had a revamp, double the size, double the number of swimming pools, added an elevator and they've removed the beach-fronted bungalows. All of which I think was a smart move and well worth doing. What has changed is the service and the catering. The staff are of course all very polite just that they didn't go the extra mile like they used to. We arrived late as our flight had been delayed, all I wanted was a couple of bottles of beer, they did arrive but I almost had to beg. I booked a taxi to the airport with the front desk, but they forgot, the waitresses at dinner were all about the hard upsell rather than serving. The breakfast as far as my memory serves me used to be awesome, today's breakfast is the same every day and lacks imagination, is poorly presented, and includes the worst coffee ever. The hotel has a confusing number of tariffs from all-inclusive to room only which means if you want to buy a drink it takes forever as they have to check your ”status” and then if you pay cash they have to go to the cashier as they carry no float. The rooms are a good size, clean and comfortable but basic. All in all it is still a good hotel to choose but sadly it is no longer in the memorable category.

Very good hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel grounds and the rooms were very well maintained. The food in the restaurant was excellent and reasonably priced (lunch and dinner). The free transfer was excellent, journey time about 15 minutes. I will definitely come back. Thank you to the friendly staff.

But for ordinary travelers, it will appear to be very low value for money, everything is so old, and there is no modern sophistication. If you will come to Sri Lanka again Will definitely come back to jetwing lagoon

Clingy dogs, friendly Sri Lankans, delicious seafood, and we were automatically upgraded to a room type. However, some waiters have the bad habit of asking for tips, so it is recommended to carry the suitcase yourself. Jetwing Sea is more affordable than Beach Blue, and is slightly one kilometer further than the bustling neighborhood.

The environment is not bad, very quiet, with pick-up service! The same as domestic bed and breakfasts, a 3-person bed and breakfast hotel. Just don’t let the hotel arrange a car. The arranged car is too expensive. Download Uber and Pickme from your mobile phone to call a car in Colombo. It is very convenient and not expensive. Except for the airport pick-up, don’t let the hotel arrange a car for you. It's several times more expensive!

Amazing property with ample space. We stayed in the villa and the rooms were big and spacious including the toilets. The hotel facilities are very good and well equiped. Gym, sports activities, spa and the best is they have a very good kids activity area and the lady in charge of this area Ms Roza was just amazing with the kids. Hats off to her. Alchol prices are very decent and generous. Downside is the food. Buffet has the same type of food for all breakfast and dinner. Spread is ok and the refilling takes awhile and need to be in the line which is irritating at times. Even the bites which we order does not taste that good. Overall it was a good stay.. but food needs to improve.
