Unique and colorful interior. The junior suite is wider than expected and has bathroom doors on both sides, allowing for a completely separate space.

The whole building and decoration are very retro, I like this style very much! Although the room is small, it is very warmly decorated. I especially like the curtains. Under the morning sun, the holes in the fabric curtains of different sizes are showing through, and the colorful and looming colored lights are emitting, which is very beautiful! Each room has its own terrace, where you can feel the lively street scene of NYC at any time from morning to night. Great experience. The bar on the first floor is also very retro and beautiful. The atmosphere at night is great and the service is very attentive! The surrounding area is also very safe and you can reach your desired destination on foot.

We brought our oldest child for her 10th birthday and could not say enough fantastic things about the hotel, customer service and location. I read so many (positive) reviews leading up to our stay and they all lived up to the hype. The new gym was a highlight for me, beautiful space. The size of our room was a wonderful bonus, so nice to spread out. Everything was a 10+

The Hotel Chelsea was a great experience. It is a beautiful historic building with plenty of character. The staff were always friendly, professional and helpful. The location makes it easy to get to SoHo, Broadway or 5th Avenue and there are a variety of great restaurant right in the area.

The staff at this historic hotel were excellent. My budget only allowed to book the least expensive room which was very small but beautifully appointed. Terrific central location if your activities are both uptown and downtown.
