"First off, the location is pretty good – about 1 kilometer from the east square of Qingdao Station, situated at one of the entrances to Zhongshan Road. It's convenient for dining and buying local specialties downstairs. It’s about a 300-meter walk to the church, and while the pier (Zhanqiao) is a couple of blocks away, it doesn't feel far because you can browse along the commercial street. The room was clean, tidy, and quite spacious. We arrived around 11 AM and couldn't check in yet, so we just stored our luggage. They asked if we had any valuables and stored them separately, which was thoughtful. They also provided a hand-drawn map and a printed one, and gave detailed recommendations for nearby restaurants. Overall, the service was very attentive. I’d definitely stay here again if I have the chance."

"Stayed here for a short family trip, and everyone, adults and kids alike, was happy! The hostel is clean and bright, with spacious and tidy common areas that are cleaned daily. The pub and coffee area caters to all ages, with soft folk music playing in the evenings. The chilled Qingdao beer is refreshing, and there are local snacks nearby, offering both seafood and specialty noodles. The front desk staff were warm and friendly, proactively recommending family-friendly travel routes. Public transport, including buses and subways, is readily available right outside, making it a short hop to places like Zhanqiao Pier and the beaches."

"The hotel's location is excellent. It's just a few bus stops from Qingdao Station, and a short walk over a pedestrian bridge. It's also very convenient to get to Zhanqiao Pier and Signal Hill by taxi, bus, or subway. This was my first time staying at a Holiday Inn, and it exceeded my expectations. We arrived at the hotel after 9 PM, and the front desk upgraded us to a business twin room, and we even got to choose a complimentary drink. The room wasn't huge, but the bed was incredibly comfortable. Our room overlooked what looked like a rubber track, and it had a bit of a strong odor in the mornings. The breakfast spread was fantastic, much better and with more variety than Atour or Hanting hotels."

"This was a group trip, and we chose Orange Hotel Crystal, which was my first time staying at a Huazhu Hotels Group property. First, the good points: the hotel's location is decent, not too far from various attractions, and getting a taxi is very convenient. The facilities are relatively new and very clean, and all the staff members are enthusiastic. Now for the downsides: although it's called 'May Fourth Square Orange Hotel Crystal,' it's actually not that close to May Fourth Square, nor is it very close to the subway, so we mostly relied on taxis for getting around. Since it was summer, there were a lot of people, and housekeeping wasn't always timely. I'm not sure how Huazhu positions Orange Hotel Crystal, but the prices are comparable to star-rated hotels, so the value for money isn't great. Overall, the stay was acceptable, but there's still room for improvement compared to domestic management groups like Wanda."

"This stay exceeded my expectations! The hotel's location is super convenient for getting around and dining. The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was so soft and comfortable, I slept wonderfully. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area and no unpleasant odors. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, making check-in and check-out very efficient, and the cleaning staff were also very thoughtful. The facilities were comprehensive, and it was quiet overall, not noisy at all. Excellent value for money, I'd definitely choose this place again next time I visit. Highly recommended!"

Not only did she swiftly handle my check-in, but she also noticed my luggage and proactively offered assistance. When I checked out, she had already pre-checked my bill, and after confirming everything was correct, the process was done in less than a minute, ensuring I didn't miss my high-speed train. She even called me during my stay to remind me that the room's AC had been set to a comfortable temperature. This kind of professional, efficient, yet incredibly personal service is truly rare. Margaret, you are this hotel's best asset!"

"Very clean and recently renovated. The cleaning lady was super nice! Even though it's a self-service hotel, there are still staff around, and the security is pretty good; you need to swipe your room card multiple times to get into your room. Most importantly, staying in Huangdao is really affordable! You wouldn't find a family room in the city center for the same price, and the rooms wouldn't be as spacious as those at Haiyou. The hotel is super close to the subway station, and you can rent electric scooters right next to the station, which I found incredibly convenient for getting around! It's also close to Golden and Silver Beach. I highly recommend Yu Ming Zui – rent an electric scooter and go explore, it's absolutely beautiful!"

"My husband and I visited Qingdao for the second time and stayed at the Ruimai Hotel for the first time. It's located in the city center, which is super convenient whether you're walking or taking a taxi. The only slight hassle was the parking. We arrived just as the restaurant downstairs was busy for dinner, so finding a spot was tough. Even though it's a shared parking lot with three businesses, it felt pretty tight. However, the front desk was fine with us temporarily parking, which was a relief. The room was very comfortable, and the cleanliness was excellent. The front desk staff assigned us a room we absolutely loved, based on my request. Even though it was a bit triangular, it was spacious and bright. We really liked it! 💕 Speaking of cleanliness, this is one of the cleanest hotels I've ever stayed in – impressive! 👍 I'd definitely come back to stay here again. A big thank you to the lovely front desk lady (I can't recall your name! 😆) for the amazing room arrangement that exceeded our expectations! 😘"
