"This was my worst experience staying at Atour Hotel, and I've stayed many times. First, the room's soundproofing was poor. Second, I checked in at 10 PM. My friend and I booked two executive king rooms. After checking in, one of the rooms had a bizarre layout; you had to go through a long corridor before turning into the actual room. This was completely different from the pictures I booked, and the usable space was also much smaller. I immediately went to the front desk to discuss it and was told that the hotel was full for the night and I could only change rooms tomorrow. The front desk staff's attitude was friendly, and they proactively registered me for a room change the next day. However, for such a strangely shaped room, completely inconsistent with the pictures and with significantly less usable space, shouldn't customers be notified in advance or have prior communication? Instead, they just checked me in directly, acting as if nothing happened if the customer didn't speak up."

"The hotel's location is excellent and easy to find, situated in the Da Baodao district right next to a subway station and very close to the train station. It's just a short walk to Zhanqiao Pier and St. Michael's Cathedral. There are plenty of dining, drinking, and entertainment options nearby, making it super convenient. The hotel's family room is very cozy and cute, which our baby loved. It had everything we needed: a small toilet, bed rail, baby slippers, and toothbrush. The view from the hotel room is also beautiful, overlooking the cathedral and the sea. The rooftop of the popular Rivi bar next door is perfect for photos. The hotel service was incredibly thoughtful, friendly, warm, and responsive, which was a great help to us."

"I was very pleased with the environment; it was very clean. It's also part of the HZ chain. The location is easy to find, parking is free, and the afternoon tea, fruits, and drinks are also complimentary. The front desk staff were incredibly enthusiastic; whenever we needed something, they responded immediately whether we messaged them or called from the room. The room was also very spacious. We booked a family room, which had an extra small space for luggage. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area and a sensor toilet. The breakfast selection was also quite extensive. Since there were three adults, the front desk kindly provided an extra free breakfast. The laundry service was excellent, with combined washing and drying, and everything came back spotless. I highly, highly recommend staying at this hotel if you're in Qingdao's Chengyang District!"

"This is a new Holiday Inn that opened this year. My Didi driver told me the whole building was brand new on the way there. It's located right in the city center, making it super convenient to get around by taxi – not far from restaurants or attractions. It's also very close to the Beer Museum. The front desk staff was incredibly nice. Seeing I had a child with me, they upgraded us to a suite with an unbeatable view. The laundry room and gym are both open 24/7, accessible with your room key. Housekeeping was also prompt and thorough. The breakfast was delicious, especially the coffee – it really hit the spot for me. Looking forward to my next visit to Qingdao! 🤗"

"We stayed in a family room for two nights and extended for another night. It's very close to Qingdao Station, about 500 meters from Exit B of Zhiquan Road Station on Metro Line 2. The hotel facilities are new, the room is clean and tidy, and the environment is quiet and peaceful. It has TV casting and all the smart devices you could need. The front desk and room service staff were friendly and attentive. The breakfast was also good. As for attractions, May Fourth Square and MixC are right next door, just one stop away, and other scenic spots aren't far either. Highly recommend!"

While the restaurant space is a bit small, it doesn't detract from the experience or quality. Many hotels might offer their own unique features, but the following point truly exceeded my expectations: **3. Culture:** The hotel provides its own meticulously crafted tour guides and maps, which are incredibly thoughtful and useful. Moreover, the art pieces, books, and old photos of the neighborhood displayed in the public areas not only help guests understand the local culture but also elevate their spiritual satisfaction. What's truly commendable is that the hotel's 'big boss,' DK, is present in the lobby daily, engaging directly with both local and international guests, and is always eager to share insights on travel and city history. The books mentioned earlier are also from his recommended reading list – kudos to him! I even ordered one online right then and there."

"This was an absolutely amazing stay! First off, the hygiene was impeccable; the beds were clean and soft, and the privacy curtains really ensured personal space. It was also very quiet at night. Secondly, the location is superb with convenient transportation and plenty of dining, entertainment, and shopping options nearby. The best part was how warm and welcoming the owner and staff were, offering lots of practical tips to avoid tourist traps. To stay in such a cozy and stylish hostel for just a few bucks is truly incredible value for money. I’ll definitely choose this place again on my next visit!"

In addition, the rooms here have smart controls, especially the air conditioning control right by the bed, which is incredibly convenient. You don't have to get out of bed to adjust the air conditioning before sleeping, and it's super easy to adjust the temperature even if you wake up at night. The bedding deserves special praise; it's just the right firmness, and a double bed doesn't disturb your partner, ensuring a good night's sleep. The variety of drinks provided is extensive, and the Atour Village tea tastes quite good, becoming my daily drink during my stay here. Value for money: The price is excellent. Compared to similarly priced hotels in the area, the facilities are newer. Compared to hotels with similar facilities, the price is better. "The location is excellent! The hotel is right outside the building, with direct access to the subway station (Lines 2 and 3) underground. The famous Licun Night Market is also right outside. The service is excellent! They're very responsive! The restaurant is on the 8th floor, and the service there is also very courteous. There's a laundry room on the 9th floor. Two small suggestions: 1. Please provide baskets and laundry bags for both dirty and clean clothes in the laundry room! 2. There was a very noticeable backflow odor from the drain in the room!"

"This hotel is located in Laoshan District, very close to Shilaoren Beach, about a 10-minute walk away. It's also very convenient to get to May Fourth Square, so the location is excellent.
