"Clean and modern boutique hotel near to Nagoya mall and many eateries. Very comfortable beds and friendly English speaking staffs at reception. A good spread of international breakfast buffet with local delights as well. The purplish tangy cooling welcome drink at reception was refreshing . They have a guard that scan the taxi that comes in, an extra safety I don’t see other older hotels have. It’s nice to know strict safety measures implemented here . Hotel room is clean and cosy, not big but nice and cosy. They have conllimentary tea/coffee in room , hair dryer, amenities, slippers and safe deposit . Hotel has a spa and salon. For the entertainment , it seems every Saturday they have an eat all you can dinner with live entertainment during this soft launch period which helps solve my worries of what to entertain me at night. A pretty small hotel that even has a dessert cafe. Pretty desserts to my liking as i am a picky dessert person. They have a sauna too but I have yet to try it as I’m occupied with visiting other areas around. If you like to have a massage at the hotel spa, suggest having massues go up your hotel room instead , as the spa seems to be short-staff and my therapist had to excuse herself to answer to random interrupted walk in guests queries, this is a minus. Other than this, all is a plus. Staff at reception and bell boy and cleaning staff were friendly polite and quick to serve . Overall experience was very good! 👍"

"I booked this hotel because it was newly opened, but only realized upon arrival that parts of the property were still undergoing construction. The gym was not yet operational, and several rooms remained closed for renovation. During my two-night stay, there was a serious insect issue in the room, including mosquitoes, fruit flies, flies, and other insects. My friend was bitten multiple times during our stay. On the morning of the second day, I requested a room change, but was informed that the hotel was fully booked and no alternative room was available. The staff assured me that they would arrange pest control treatment for the room, but no action appeared to have been taken. Overall, I was quite disappointed with the experience, especially given the lack of resolution despite raising the issue with the hotel."

"Impeccably clean. Outstanding service from Ixxora on front desk. All staff keen to please and professional. They actually seem genuinely happy to be there and to welcome you. As of June 2026, MAXONE Batam offers simply the cleanest and most well maintained rooms in the whole of Kepulauan Riau. No question. The only hotel able to compete with the obsessive cleanliness is their next door neighbour 4 star property adjacent! There are new 5 star hotels on the island where the level of maintenance does not meet the standards set by MAXONE Batam. Highly recommended for leisure travellers who DON'T require pool, gym or breakfast included in the price. What you will get is a sense of luxury and commitment to quality and service excellence. Not recommended for longer stays and business travellers due to poor WiFi stability and shortage of work space / work surfaces in the rooms, that are small and a tight squeeze by Indonesia standards."

"I booked queen room with sea view for 4 nights. Place is very nice, clean, and lots of restaurants within steps from the property. Staff are very nice, friendly and efficient. On my next trip to Batam, i'll definitely use their services. Thanks"

"Disclaimer: the booking price per night I secured was cheap, considering it was last minute and during peak period. Upon arrival, property exterior looked nice and worth of the 4 stars but personally that was the climax of it as everything else was sub-par. Swimming pool was decent with a max depth of 1.2m. In-room experience: toilet seat was broken and there was no hair dryer. The balcony seemed overkill as it was quite sizeable but empty. Perhaps it is for the beachfront vibes but there is a wall covering any view (good for privacy though) Breakfast: only made it once for the buffet breakfast and the spread was limited. Again, below the 4 star touted. Service: this is where they saved their honour. Staff were friendly, great, and accommodating to requests. Location: very near to the beach and away from city, making it an idyllic place. However, maybe as it is the festive season, 2 out of 4 nights we were woken up by super loud music (and vibrations) coming from the event stage located opposite the property. All in all, pretty good for a newly opened hotel and at the price point (＜SGD80/night) means no complaints. But it is at most 3 star level to me"

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing stay! The apartment was spotless, cozy, and exactly as described. The bed was comfortable, the Wi-Fi was fast, and the host was very responsive and friendly. Best part is the room can fit 3 person. Great location with easy access to Batam Centre. Would definitely stay here again!"

"Location is good and cheap price, it is right next to the mall, there's even a side exit there. The staff are really nice. The downsides are: - rooms are really really small; i really did not expect it to be this small. Mine had no windows and the bed is flushed to the side. It's ok for single person to stay but it's not comfortable. - it's relatively new but there are rust on some parts of the furnishing. - my room had a buzzy sound by the bed, not sure what it is but it's quite irritating throughout the night."
