"I had a truly wonderful stay at Grand Eska Hotel Batam! The food was absolutely delicious be it the breakfast or the weekly Saturday BBQ and the hotel had such a vibrant atmosphere with events that made the experience even more enjoyable.
A special shoutout to Felix! Who went above and beyond throughout our stay. From recommending great dinner spots to even assisting us with purchasing gifts, his thoughtful service really made us feel well taken care of. It’s rare to meet someone so dedicated and genuine—thank you, Felix!
What stood out most was the warm hospitality from every staff member we encountered. No matter where you go in the hotel, you’re always greeted with a bright smile that makes you feel at home.
Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend Grand Eska Hotel Batam for anyone visiting Batam—you’ll be well fed, well cared for, and leave with a big smile."

Amazing
HHanzDefStayed at Oakwood Batam for a short getaway and was pleasantly surprised by the overall experience. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, making it easy to relax after a day of exploring Batam. The bed was especially comfortable, and the room felt modern and well-maintained.
What stood out most was the service. The staff were warm, welcoming, and always greeted guests with a smile. The location was also convenient, with shopping malls and food options just a short ride away.
The breakfast spread was decent, and the facilities were well-kept. While no hotel is perfect, Oakwood delivered where it mattered most—comfort, cleanliness, and good service. I left feeling well-rested and would definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Batam.
CCheeWH79Nice hotel suites at a very strategic location within Nagoya. Many shops, reataurants, eateries, food court, cafes and massage places around the area.. Suites are of good size and clean. Comfortable bed and pillows. Breakfast was fine with good variety of food but a bit overcrowded. Staffs are friendly and courteous. Overall, highly recommended place to stay if you plan to explore Nagoya Thamrin area.
AAnonymous UserWe got upgraded to villa with ocean view and private pool. The resort boosts tranquility throughout the property. Guests were polite and friendly.
The only feedback was the discrepancy on the full board arrangement in the package by trip.com and the resort’s provision of full board meals for three persons. Whilst trip.com’s package states full board for three persons, the resort staff claimed that the package should include full board for two persons only and breakfast for three persons, which was illogical.
GGuest UserEverything was great. Breakfast was reasonable with a good sized selection, it wasn't the best spread but it was sufficient for us. Though the furniture is dated, everything was clean and housekeeping did a good job everyday. Our only complaint is that the air conditioning was really cold in one of our rooms and there was no way of tweaking the temperature using the controls so we had to continually turn off the AC.
LLibra LadyHotel is still going through some upgrading at the back of the building. Which does not affect the guest at all. Was taken aback by the height and transparent lifts welcoming us. Very grand entrance indeed. However, the colour is out dated. Is it supposed to be underwater theme or inside a ship theme. But the most distinct feature that struck my nose was the air freshener. I really don't like it. Apart from that, room was spacious, clean & bed a little soft for my liking. Toilets big and clean. But I noticed at the under side of the toilet bowl is not cleaned properly. Bathing liquid is not enough for 3 of us. Would be better if wall mounted pumps used instead of small refillable travel bottles. Breakfast spread is substantial and tasty. With the affordable price. Will definitely come again.
GGuest UserWas given a smoking room while I had requested for a non smoking room in my booking. Had to request for a change of room. Room door was difficult to open despite using two access room cards. Again, had to ask the receptionist to get our room doors settled. So there was some delay before we could really take a rest after a long day. Basic amenities like dental kit, shampoo and body wash were provided. Room was of a pretty decent size. Breakfast was ok and has a Maggie station. It’s just a 5- 10 mins drive to the Batam ferry center.
CChrichillI had a wonderful stay at the hotel with my husband and son, where I celebrated my birthday. The room was clean and comfortable, and all staff were courteous and attentive.
Special thanks to the General Manager, Mr. Bart, for being kind and approachable. It is no wonder the team is excellent under your leadership. Thank you as well for the complimentary drinks. I also commend Pritty for her excellent service at the restaurant. The food was very good, especially the carbonara.
I truly appreciate the thoughtful birthday greeting from Zamzam, Noven, Aura, and the rest of the team. Thank you to the front desk and all staff for the warm hospitality.
CChengzhen YuRecently stayed at Montigo with my family as it was my boy’s birthday celebration, and wanted to share our experience.
Upon check-in, there was some issue between their system and my booking through the app, which took more than 30 minutes to resolve. Luckily the place wasn’t crowded, and my kids didn’t get bored while waiting.
One thing I liked was the baggage delivery service from place to place. Requests can be made through WhatsApp and their response was pretty fast, which made things quite convenient.
Currently, one of the restaurants is under renovation, so we had lunch at Tiigo. Personally, I didn’t really enjoy the food, but I have to give credit to the view — that was easily a 10/10.
As for the room, we had some issues with the bathroom design/drainage. Water in the bathing area didn’t drain properly and would get trapped at one side of the bathroom. The bathtub water would also flow into the toilet area, making the whole floor wet, especially when my kids were playing in the bathtub.
It became quite slippery and my kids actually took turns falling in the bathroom, which was a little concerning from a safety perspective.
On the positive side, because it was my boy’s birthday celebration, they were very thoughtful and kind enough to prepare birthday decorations and a cake for him, which was a really nice touch and made the experience feel special.
Overall, despite a few areas that could be improved, especially the bathroom setup in our room, we still enjoyed the stay and appreciated their service. I would still come back again, but probably not choose the same room.
GGuest UserI'm giving five stars to the hotel driver, the service was absolutely excellent! You can contact the hotel the day before check-in to arrange a pick-up from the ferry drop-off point, and when you're ready to leave, you can also book a free ride from the hotel to the pier. It's incredibly convenient. We were so lucky to have this driver; he proactively helped us with our luggage, assisted us with our visa on arrival, and even filled out our immigration cards... The service was top-notch! The hotel environment is also fantastic. Everything about this trip was great, apart from the bad weather. I'll definitely be back!
GGuest UserStaff is friendly and approachable. Room is clean and comfortable. Breakfast at the hotel is good and substantial. Hotel offers complimentary pickup transport to and fro Sekupang ferry terminal. Only found on my last day staying there that the hotel also offers transport to Grand Batam Mall.
