Newmarket Hotels with Wi-Fi

At check-in I went up to the counter, no other persons were there except for the attendant and a cleaner. I was not wearing a mask as I have an exemption. I was told to put one on and when I looked at the cleaner who was not wearing one I was a little surprised. I told him I have an exemption he stepped away made a phone call came back five minutes later and said I must wear it or tell him what my exemption is. I showed him a copy of the order from public health which states you are clearly not supposed to ask what the exemption is. I asked him to have his manager call. When his manager call I explain to him I had an exemption and then I was not pleased and he said it’s my hotel I don’t even have to let you stay here! I said I’m going to hang up now before this phone call escalates. Strange that with so many protocols in place to protect those with exemptions this manager can say that? I was calm. I was collected. And, no one was around me. In the 20 minutes it took to check me in because of this BS, I could have been in my room away from everyone. Step off the elevator later that night to get something from my car, the front desk clerk wasn’t wearing a mask. When I came back in he proceeded to yell at me?! Nice place HIE. Not sure why I even came back here as we’ve had issues prior with cleanliness.

Great hotel for a pet friendly hote. We will use it again near future

We stayed at the hotel for 5 nights recently on our holiday to Canada, travelling from the UK visiting family in Aurora and Newmarket. Absolutely perfect, location, comfort, spot on. Lovely room, comfy bed, great shower. Yeah it’s only a two star and could do with an update but it felt homely. Tim Hortons coffee machine in the reception area ( need coffee before breakfast). Lovely. If, ( when🤞)we return to Canada we will absolutely stay here again, perfect. Thank you.
