Because of the marathon, only the Deluxe King Room with Garden View was available when I booked, which was quite expensive, but that was the only option. The next day, I accidentally saw a cheaper King Room available, so I immediately cancelled it and booked a smaller one instead. Later, Xiao Ge from the front desk called, and I told her the truth: I would be arriving quite late, and a larger, more expensive room would be a waste, haha. Unexpectedly, she was incredibly nice and asked if I would like to be upgraded to the original larger room. Because I had noted that I wanted a quiet room, she said that room type was the quietest. I certainly agreed; Xiao Ge is meticulous and thoughtful. My good impression of the hotel and even Xikou Town stems from her kindness. By the way, a male manager in the restaurant was also very kind. There was a worm in one of the vegetables, and he repeatedly apologized. Actually, I had just mentioned it casually. He even helped me ask the chef about a dish not on the menu: mud snails.

The hotel room was clean and tidy, the cleaning aunt was very hardworking, cleaned carefully and diligently, and had a amiable attitude. The front desk staff was also very good. Breakfast, Chinese food and dinner are included. Breakfast buffet is basically available. Chinese food and dinner are each one vegetarian and one soup, with the combination is OK, sometimes tomato scrambled eggs, radish roast ribs; sometimes braised rows, leek bean dried; sometimes steamed squid, leek fried bean sprouts; Sometimes meat patties steamed eggs, braised eggplant, with taro soup, or flat-tip potato soup, quite local characteristics, roasted is also very delicious, rice tube enough, this way to divide the meal is very good, save to eat together is not hygienic. But there was a meal, the stew was a little late, the steamed squid was gone, and the braised chicken was replaced. It was said that it was roasted meat, but I didn't see the meat. Some breakfast buffets, such as meat buns and sweet potatoes, will not be filled after the first batch. But the overall is still quite good, there is a paid chess and card room, the parking lot is quite large and parking is free, very close to Jiang's former residence. The price/performance ratio is quite high.

My trip to Xikou is over, and overall, the hotel was excellent. The breakfast, in particular, stood out with its fresh ingredients and wide variety – I was very satisfied. Plus, the hotel is located right within the Chiang's Former Residence scenic area, which made sightseeing incredibly convenient.

This is the best hotel in Xikou, and I say that because both the hardware facilities and the service are top-notch. During my stay, I couldn't find a single flaw; every detail was perfect. It's rare to find such thorough cleaning that even the outdoor balcony is dust-free. The service was warm, attentive, and proactive, making me feel right at home. The breakfast selection was rich, a fusion of Chinese and Western options. The dishes at the Chinese restaurant on the second floor were also delicious and reasonably priced; we ate all our meals at the hotel during our stay. The hotel's location is also excellent, right by the river, making it convenient to visit nearby attractions. I will definitely choose the Howard Johnson Mantingli Plaza Hotel again next time I visit Xikou. I'd like to give a special shout-out to the front desk young man, Wu Songbai, for his warm, thoughtful, and responsive service. Also, to the yoga instructor Liu Dan, for her high professional standards and patient teaching, and for the deeply therapeutic sound bath experience at the healing workshop. All the other service staff were also highly professional, and though I don't know their names, I'd like to extend my gratitude to them all for their hard work!

The hotel room was very spacious, and the staff were all very friendly. Parking was incredibly convenient, and getting around was a breeze. There were plenty of dining and drinking options nearby. It would be even better if the breakfast had more variety; while it was enough to fill up, the selection was a bit limited.

Very satisfied with the hotel, clean and beautifully decorated. The reviews say the hotel is old, but I don't feel that way at all. I booked this hotel because it is close to Chiang's former residence. My parents in their 70s can go there for free during the day and it's very comfortable. I ate at the restaurant next to the hotel, the food was good and the price was relatively affordable. In short, come to Xikou during the Qingming Festival, there are not many tourists, and you can definitely travel comfortably.

Even my picky grandma said she wants to plan another 'Zizhangtai rendezvous' next year.

The hotel next to Zhejiang Buddhist College is clean and hygienic with warm service. The hotel has its own restaurant, which provides lunch and dinner a la carte service in addition to hotel breakfast. The car was parked on the roadside at the main entrance of the Buddhist College. There is a studio and a small bridge when you walk in. The furnishings are simple and refreshing. There are barefoot floors and tea sets. But there is no TV, so choose carefully if you are mainly interested in entertainment. The location is very good. It takes a quarter of an hour to walk to the tourist center. You can take a bus to Xuedou Mountain from the tourist center, and opposite the tourist center is the Maitreya Altar, a newly built attraction. It takes about 10 to 20 minutes to drive to the town for dinner or to the former residence of Jiang.

Superb location directly opposite the scenic area entrance! The room is spacious and very clean. Breakfast starts at 7 am while the Xuedou Mountain scenic area starts at 8 am. The public bus stop is also just in front. Highly recommend
